"I have a feeling that you became more childish as you grew up." Touka sighs as I try to liven up the morale of our group.
"You guys are too depressing." I sit down with and take a serious look as well.
We're riding a bus to the city that will hold the Seven Stars Sword Art Festival this year but there was a sudden last minute news that got my "technically team mates" down.
Ouma Kurogane, brother of Ikki is joining in. I totally expected that, he always seeks battles with people that are close to him in power level aka me.
If I remember correctly he left his house to seek more deadly battles but ran into Rebellion's current leader and got his ass handed to him and Edelweiss saved him due to him being the relative of her master.
So ever since then Ouma is obsessed with power in a similar fashion like Orochimaru was obsessed with immortality but in a less scientific way with no involvement of children... I think.
Ouma is afraid of death, his hands tremble when he thinks of it and whenever he wields his blade so he seeks more battles to push himself to become a Desperado.
Jokes on him in the light novel, Ikki becomes one before him. Anyway I will think about what to do about him when I get there.
Looking over to my current status I nod to myself. I got this in the bag, let's just hope I can reach my limits and break them.

You know, now that I think about it I believe in karma and I shouldn't have pranked Kurogane house alongside Morgan that much.
The blocks and order of matches came just now and we're looking at our opponents.
I just look at the names that I know and ignore the names I don't since they're clearly mob characters thus has no importance.
Seriously what's up with this roster for the festival why do I feel like I am being bullied, why is my fights are easy?
They're trying to put me and Ouma in the most battles that will attract people to watch it on TV damn capitalism.
This was supposed to be my finale, where I would dazzle the world with my hard fought battles and force myself to break these damned chains so I wont be tied to fate in any world I visit.
I mean, one cannot really get rid of their fate without extreme measures and I doubt that a discount method like this will apply to the whole multiverse but it will give me some protection.
Fun Fact: Morgan became a Desperado last year because her physical capacity was lower than mine even with Dragon blood enhancement, well there was also the fact that she already said fuck you to her fate due to my intervention but whatever.

Should I just challenge the entire block like Stella did ? Nah she got others into trouble after she did that.
Once we got settled into our hotel rooms we were informed about the opening party, girls wanted to go because they wanted to check the others I wanted to go because of all you can eat buffet.
"Touka was there a dress code for the party?" I ask while looking at myself wearing full body, glow in the dark skeleton costume. I actually had to wear beach shorts on top of it because the visual waist below was too dangerous for the ladies.
"No, why do you ask..." Touka looks over only to fall down due to shock.
"YOU'RE NOT WEARING THAT!"
"Now to finish it off..." I also wore a hawaii shirt but didn't button it up so my glorious ribs are showing, ahh perfect.
"REN NO!"
"REN YES!"I ran away with a sonic speed. Buffet here I come!

(Ayase POV)
I am kinda nervous there will be too many males in the party and that gets me nervous... maybe I should just stay in my room but Toudou-san said it's an important event.
*Slaps herself lightly*
'You got this Ayase! Now let's go and get your friends.'
Getting out of my room I was greeted by the weird scene of a Hawaiian Skeleton running towards me, I ready myself to take action, someone might be trying to cut down opposition early.
Only for the Skeleton to ignore me and keep running. After that a group of angry looking people came running from the same direction.
Oh Toudou-san is amongst them!
"Young lady did you just see a Hawaiian Skeleton running!? I think his name is El Macabre." is that even a real name?
"He went that way." I point out the direction while Toudou-san makes some hand gestures to me for me to stay.
"Thanks!" Group leaves but Toudou-san stays.
How weird.
"Toudou-san what was that about?" I ask that was just too bizarre.
"Ren." Toudou-san says with a whisper.
"I don't get it. What does a stylish skeleton has to do anything with our kohai."
"The running skeleton is Ren."
"Why?"
"If we were to ask him he'll probably say why not, there's no reasoning with him when he starts a streak." Toudou-san says with a bitter expression, I have a feeling this isn't the first time Ren did something like this.
"Why is he getting chased around?"
"He somehow stole all the food at the buffet, we don't know where he put it but he even emptied the stocks of the hotel." I don't know how to react to this.
"Want to go back to my room and get over the intel we have?" It's better to avoid this altogether.
"Sure." Toudou-san agrees with a sigh.
Getting in we were greeted by a box that wasn't here when I left the room, after checking it we deemed it was safe to open.
We looked inside and found intel on some people known to be serious threats in the festival including A Rank Ouma Kurogane.
This is just too detailed, whoever wrote this even noted their personalities and their trump cards.
"Ayase look!" I turned to my shocked companion who's holding a book about herself but this one has a note.
