A week later...
(At the Fire kingdom)
Adam looked at the woman sitting in front of him and told her that Eva was princess Eleanor since Kaycee still wouldn't believe it. Kaycee then smiled and told him that if he saw her in the Water kingdom, then he should be able to see her brothers too.
Adam shook his head. "No, I was only allowed to see Eleanor."
The princess sighed, "What was their reaction about Cole and Aviana's death...?"
"Princess Eleanor wanted justice, but I told her it wasn't possible."
"She's right. We need to avenge their death."
"Let it go. Love is stronger than death. Although love can't stop death from happening, death can't separate people from love."
Kaycee clenched her fist. "Cole's your brother and you were able to let it go that easily? How about Lea then? She's not even five years old!"
Adam grabbed her shoulders. "Do you think that they'd be happy seeing you like this if they were still alive? You're just showing your weakness to the enemy."
"I'm tired, Adam. There are too much unexpected things happening lately."
"That's life. It's meant to be unfair, but I'm here to conquer these trials with you," Adam smiled.
The princess blushed. "You're being unreasonable."
"That proves how much I love you."
"Thank you very—"
Before she was able to finish, Adam pulled her into his arms and pecked her lips. He lifted her body by the waist and brought her body closer to his. The princess then wrapped her arms around his neck and started responding to it until she came back to her senses.
Kaycee asked, "Wait! What-What are you doing...?"
"I kissed you." Adam smiled.
"Why-Why did you lift me...?"
"Is there a problem? Want me to lift you higher?"
"No! I like it this way," Kaycee shouted as her face reddened.
Adam laughed. "You're so—"
Without letting him finish, the princess instantly pecked his lips and Leaned back to see his reaction.
"Is this a dream? The princess? Kissing me voluntarily?" Adam chuckled.
"I just wanted to give you a reward for everything you've done." the princess smiled.
"You must be really lucky to have met a man like me."
The princess rolled her eyes. "Yes, I'm very lucky to have you."
A few hours later...
(In the royal hall)
Julia informed the princess that her father's location has been detected somewhere in the east. The princess then sighed and told her that she needed the exact location.
Julia bowed. "I'm sorry, your highness."
"It's fine," Kaycee sighed.
"Your highness, have you analyzed the letter that his majesty sent?" Timothy asked.
"No, I haven't," the princess lied.
"I see, he must—"
"If you would please excuse us, Julia. Timothy and I need some privacy," Kaycee interrupted.
Julia bowed. "Yes, your highness."
When Julia went back to her room, she sat on the wooden chair and said, "Your majesty, your daughter seems to dislike me."
A voice answered, "She just needs to gain your trust, Julia."
"Your majesty, I believe no one believes that I can really hear your voice."
The voice then apologized to her since she can't do anything about it now that she's only a spirit, but the voice reminded her that she was always there for her.
Julia wiped her tears. "Thank you, your majesty. I'll stay strong for you. You've helped me when I was in need. Now it's my turn to return the favor."
"It's going to be hard to beat him, Julia."
"Then I'll get some help."
"From who?"
Julia laughed. "Your majesty, I'm not that lonely. I have some friends from other kingdoms too."
"Like?" the voice asked.
"Queen Valentina and Queen Mia."
"What makes you think they'll help you?"
Julia answered, "Not everything in this world is free. They get something back, of course."
