I Miss Him

The next day...

(At the Water kingdom)

Alice informed Eleanor that Jay and Albert's clothes were found floating on the shore a few days ago, but their body was no where to be found. Eleanor then asked her if there was any news about Cameron.

Alice bowed. "We still haven't found anything."

Eleanor sat down on her bed. "I see, you may leave."

When Alice left, Lucy came knocking on the door.

"Come in," said Eleanor.

Lucy opened the door. "Eleanor, I've been worried about you lately. Are you just going to stay in your room forever?"

"I appreciate that your concerned, but I'm really not in the mood to talk about this."

"We've known each other for years, Eleanor."

"I just don't know what to do."

"You can cry it all out. I'll just be here."

Eleanor covered her face with her hands. "I miss him so much."

"Do you want to talk about it? Seems like it's making you uncomfortable."

Eleanor hugged her. "It's fine."

Lucy repeatedly patted her back. "If he didn't loved nor cared for you, why do you think he fought with Albert in the first place?"

As soon as Eleanor heard that, her eyes widened. She thought that Cameron didn't lover her anymore. She wished she could go back to the time where she was about to end their relationship. If she just new that he'd be gone the next day, she would've have done it.

Eleanor took a deep breathe. "I haven't even told him how much I really love him."

Lucy asked, "Well, why didn't you?"

"He's really infuriating, he makes me laugh, he makes me yell, he drives me crazy, he's always out of his mind, but I never once got the chance to show my appreciation."

"A lot of people will hurt you, Eleanor. You just gotta find the ones worth fighting for."

Eleanor wiped her tears. "What happened to you and Josh?"

Lucy then told her that she misunderstood Josh before. She thought that he took her feelings as a joke. He tried explaining, but she didn't even care to listen. He tried making it up to her, but she just pushed him away. He tried loving her no matter what, but in the end, she still broke his heart.

Eleanor smiled. "Josh still loves you despite that."

Lucy nodded. "He does. That's why, If life gives you a chance to meet Cameron again, don't waste the opportunity, Eleanor."

"You've really changed, Lucy."

"Thank Josh, he's the one who made me a better person."

"You used to be so grumpy."

Lucy folded her arms. "What did you say?"

Eleanor chuckled. "Nothing, you look beautiful."

Lucy rolled her eyes. "Whatever."
