Unescapable Imperilment

"There's no way I'll lie down there beside you!" Atsumu shouted as he points the space Sakusa had for him.

"Don't be wary. I'll only be talking. I won't lay a hand on you."

He raise his right hand, reaching out for Atsumu's hand and begged, "We'll just talk, please."

"W-what---" Atsumu was speechless as he saw Sakusa's face who seems like a child whose candy got stolen.

"Stop giving me those puppy-dog eyes! I'll never lie down there!"

Sakusa sighed heavily and dejectedly said, "Guess I won't get what I want for my birthday."

He was about to turn his back on Atsumu but he almost fell on his bed because he was lying too close at the edge. Luckily, Atsumu quickly stepped forward and grabbed Sakusa's arm to prevent him from falling.

"Don't fucking do that again! You were too close at the edge of the bed!" Atsumu shouted as he stares down at Sakusa but was surprised when he gave him a smug smile.

"Gotcha." He snatched him around the waist and chuckled, dragging him onto the bed with him. He placed his arm under the blonde's head as his pillow and his one arm wrapping around his waist.

"Let go of me, you dickhead!" He placed his hands on top of Sakusa's chest and was about to push him away but he remembered the wound he has so he slowly removed his hands off.

"Don't move. Let me charge for a minute." Sakusa held him close for a moment and a general silence followed.

Sakusa was silent, still with his eyes closed and his arm tightly embracing Atsumu. He was breathing quite heavily and his voice sounded so tired.

"Won't you let me go now?" Atsumu asked when he finished counting down to sixty seconds on his head.

He tried to remove Sakusa's arm around his waist but Sakusa pulled him even closer, his face almost hitting his chest.

"W-we haven't talked yet." Sakusa murmured, his voice cracked a little.

"Talk about what?" Atsumu glanced up at him and said, "If you knew I was an undercover agent you should have let me get killed by your father."

Sakusa still has his eyes closed, as if in concentration. He knows that he's the type of guy who can't express his feelings well.

People has always been misunderstanding every word that comes out of his mouth even though he tries his best not to be rude every time he speaks.

He has been practicing what he wants to say to Atsumu but now that he's with him, lying beside him, all of his effort seems like it was all wasted.

He doesn't know how to explain his self but all he ever wanted was to be accepted by Atsumu. To be accepted as a guy who have killed and hurt hundreds of people for the purpose of being a good leader of his father's clan.

"I always regretted that." Sakusa murmured that gained Atsumu's attention.

"Regretted what? For letting me live?" Atsumu annoyingly asked when he heard Sakusa's words.

"I regretted that I broke up with you." Sakusa sighed heavily before continuing cause he knows that there might be a possibility that Atsumu will misunderstood him.

"I thought that if I walked away and ended everything between the two of us, this feeling that I have for you will be gone."

His hand slid down the side of his face in a warm caress, his fingers finally cupping his chin and lifting it.

"But I got more worried and unconsciously, I waited for you to contact me but it never happened."

His hand slid up Atsumu's hair giving it a gentle stroke. "I always don't give a damn if a person comes after me because of my money, leaves after they took everything and comes back again if they needed anything. I always don't care but you..."

Sakusa said as he took a gulp of air to steady himself. "You were different. Even if I didn't gave you anything in return, you always sacrificed yourself to protect and save me"

Atsumu slapped Sakusa's hands off of his head and said, "That's because I wanted to gain your trust and it was not because I care for you."

"Then how can you explain that time when we were lost in the middle of the forest in Akigawa Valley?" Sakusa held his gaze, and Atsumu has the sense that he was looking beyond him, to his soul, examining every changes on his expression and his gestures.

"I t-told you that it was a-all because I wanted to gain your t-trust." Atsumu stuttered. He tried to remove Sakusa's arm on his waist once again but Sakusa pulled him closer.

He leaned down to meet Atsumu's face, his lips an inch away from his. "Why didn't you kill me when I was sick that time?"

"It was.... " Atsumu gulped down as he tries to suppress his tears from falling, "I t-thought you were the s-same as your father."

"W-what?" Sakusa's embrace loosened up a little so Atsumu quickly removed his arm and gently pushed Sakusa away from him.

He sat up, his back facing Sakusa and his arms hugging his knees to his chest.

Sakusa heard him clearing his throat before continuing, "You were killing mercilessly like how your father does that's why I thought you were the same as your father but I was wrong. The moment you knelt down in front of Hinata and Kageyama and how badly you want to save them that day, it changed the way how I view you."

He slowly wiped off his tears, not wanting Sakusa to see and said, "Even if you didn't fully knew me yet, you tried your best to protect and save me when I was abducted by Futakuchi."

He swallowed down a sob, not wanting a strangled cry to escape his mouth. "Y-you're kind and you always care and protect the people around you that's why you're not the same as your father."

"Atsumu." Sakusa called out while tugging Atsumu's shirt. "If you're saying all those cute things, can you say it infront of my face."

"T-there's nothing cute about that. I'm just telling the truth." Atsumu whispered but it was loud enough for Sakusa to hear.

Sakusa once again tried to sit, enduring the pain he's feeling on his wound. The effect of the anesthesia that was injected in him is slowly wearing off that causes his wound to ache ten times more painful than earlier.

"Listen here, Atsumu." Sakusa said as he finally sat up, hugging Atsumu from behind and resting his head on his shoulder.

"I know that the way we met was all wrong. That day on that gun shop where you saw my bad side as I killed one of my men infront of you, that time when I killed Lev under the isolated bridge, that time when I went absolutely berserk killing all those people who killed Kita, and that time when I killed a lot of people on the Futakuchi family. I know that I can't bring all of their lives back and I know all of them won't forgive me but I want to change."

He gave him a kiss on his shoulder and breathed in his familiar scent, "I want to start anew with you."

He hugged Atsumu tightly before pulling him to face him. Atsumu's heart fluttered lightly as he met Sakusa's gaze, and began to pound as his hands slid up his cheeks in a gentle caress.

"Probably not everything will go well and maybe someday we came to hate each other. But at least let me start again, Suzuki Atsumu."

"S-start... start what?" His words confused Atsumu. He doesn't have the slightest idea what he was talking about.

Sakusa started by reaching out his hand to him and showed a smile that warmed his eyes.

"Sakusa Kiyoomi. That's my name and I'm the leader of the Sakusa clan. And you are?"

The sincerity on Sakusa's voice brought tears to his eyes. He didn't expect that Sakusa will still accept him even if after he knew that he's an undercover agent. He was always angry at his self for always holding a grudge towards Sakusa even though he didn't have anything to do with his twin brother's death.

He leaned his head back and looked up at him, wiping the tears from his cheeks.

"M-miya." His voice broke as he felt the tears trickling down his cheeks. He quickly wiped off the tears once again and squeezed Sakusa's hand, saying, "Miya Atsumu, an undercover agent of the Division of Intelligence agency."

A warm smile spread over Sakusa's mouth, it was so pure and genuine. "Please to meet you, Miya Atsumu."

Atsumu trembled all over and blushed to his ears and down to his neck and shoulders while Sakusa was happily staring at him.

"S-shut up... You look like an idiot for being too happy about this."

Sakusa held Atsumu's hand, dragging him onto the bed to give him a tight embrace. "Who wouldn't be happy if the person you love has opened up their hearts to their partner? That's why I wouldn't mind looking like an idiot for today, Atsumu."

He then planted a kiss on his forehead and happily said, "I'm really glad that you're safe."

"Y-you should w-worry about yourself r-rather than worrying about m-me." Atsumu stuttered as he pulls himself away from him.

Sakusa swiftly grabbed his waist before he could back away, and pulled him into his arms. His gaze was fixed on his face, exploring every inch of it before gently bumping his forehead to his.

"I love you, Atsumu." Sakusa breathed, his lips an inch away from Atsumu's lips.

Atsumu flinched at his words. He looked surprised for a moment and then his lips clamped together firmly as he tries to calm his self down.

He subconsciously crossed his arms across his chest and squeezed his eyes shut, thinking so deeply on how can he escape the situation he is in.

On the other hand, Sakusa misunderstood Atsumu's body gestures.

He thought of something stupid once again.

He thought that Atsumu was waiting for a kiss that's why he closed his eyes.

He pulled him close in an embrace, his lips warm against his in response to his silent query.

Atsumu's eyes widened. He forcibly pulled Sakusa's face away and covered his mouth using his hand, unable to stabilize the hot and cold racing through his blood that gives warmth to his cheeks because of Sakusa's sudden attack on him.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Kisnjdsing" Sakusa blabbered.

"Who gave you the rights to kiss me?!" Atsumu shouted as he squeezed Sakusa's mouth roughly to cover it fully but he sooner regretted what he did when Sakusa surprisingly kissed his palm.

"Ybdou dondjft wannfjrt it?"

"S-shut up!" Atsumu was about to removed his hands off of Sakusa's mouth but he felt shivers running down his spine as he felt Sakusa's tongue licking his ring finger.

"Let me do you, Atsumu." He spoke in a husky voice as his arms surrounded the blonde's trembling body and his gaze fixated at his prey.

Their faces were inches away, his fingers tracing a line of warm electricity down the blonde's jaw. "I want to do it."

Atsumu was about to reject him once again but when Sakusa noticed and knew that he will turn his invitation down,

"I'll take that as a yes," he said at Atsumu' silence.

Atsumu was about to speak but Sakusa covered the blonde's lips with his in a long warm kiss that left Atsumu short of breath. His warm lips left his and kissed their way down her neck, licking and sucking it roughly.

When passion brought a moan to his lips, in a blink, Atsumu was pinned on top of Sakusa's warm body. He was about to unbutton Atsumu' shirt but a sudden loud bang of the door was heard that made the two froze.

"Kiyoomi, I know you're awake!!!" Komori shouted cheerfully while holding a bouquet of white flowers.

As soon as he takes a good look of what was happening, he realized that something steamy was happening between the two. He hurriedly walked towards Sakusa and started smacking him nonstop using the bouquet of flowers he bought.

"Don't fucking dare on doing something dirty inside the hospital, you fucking sexually frustrated pervert!"

"Tsk." Sakusa clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth in annoyance.

March 23 Shinjuku Mitsui Building Shibayama Mansion

"Heard of the news?" A man with a cat-like golden eyes, blonde hair and black roots said while playing video games.

"Yep. Do you think it's time to do the plan, Kenma?" A man with a peculiar hairstyle said while reading some of the documents that has piled up on his table.

"I have this bad feeling that Oiwake already knows that I'm the data broker who sold all of the information related to the Sakusa clan to the Futakuchi family." Kenma said as he lose a round that cause him to frown.

"We need to move as soon as possible or else we'll be killed by them first." He placed the controller down the carpet and walked towards Kuroo. He then grabbed a pen and wrote something on a piece of paper he found on his desk.

"We can't do that plan yet but I thought of something we can do in order for them to not target the Shibayama clan first."

Kuroo frowned, confused on what Kenma was talking about.

"For someone who is so clearly lacking docosahexaenoic acid, I don't think you would get what I'm talking about." Kenma said while going back to writing.

"W-wait, I heard that somewhere." Kuroo said as he touch his chin while thinking.

"Here." Kenma gave the paper to Kuroo to snapped him out of reality. "We need to divert their attention to the Kita family."

"But w-why? You know that if we use Daichi as a bait, Sugawara will surely back out on helping us, right?"

"We're hitting two birds with one stone for this plan, Kuroo. The main goal of the Division of Intelligence agency is to obliterate the Sakusa clan and I'm one hundred and one percent sure that Sugawara will help Daichi. Since the Division of Intelligence agency lacks staff for this case, you need to grab this opportunity and order Sugawara to ask Atsumu's help for this plan."

"What? Why are we asking for Atsumu's help?"

"We'll use Daichi to start the dispute and then we will grab the chance to attack the clan during the commotion together with the Division of Intelligence agency. Didn't I told you that we're hitting two birds with one stone for this clan?"

"W-wait don't tell me..."

A sudden knock on the door was heard, one of Kuroo's men opened the door, revealing two men wearing black and white semiformal suits.

It was Sawamura Daichi and Oikawa Tooru.

"Great timing, you two!" Kuroo shouted as he raise his glass of wine. "Care to have some drinks with me?"

"Ack, disgusting." Oikawa whispered, just enough for Daichi to hear. "He really has a bad taste when it comes to his alcohol recommendations."

"Stop that or else he won't think twice on killing you." Daichi whispered back before smiling at Kuroo and Kenma. "What's with the sudden meeting, Kenma?"

"Oh... so you called them beforehand without telling me?" Kuroo confusingly asked and whispered, "Is this about the plan? Will you tell them everything?"

"Of course not." Kenma answered in a low voice while still looking at Daichi and Oikawa. "There's no way I'll trust the enemy's pawns."

"Thank you for the hard work. Come have a sit." Kenma said as he guide them to the couches at Kuroo's office.

"I know you don't like Kuroo's alcohol recommendations but do you want anything to drink?" Kenma said as he intentionally stares at Oikawa.

"I'll have black coffee." Daichi answered.

"Then I'll have coffee too but with lots of milk." Oikawa said even though he hates coffee because he believes that it leads to a heightened stress response in his body on which his cortisol, a stress hormone, which increases the amount of oil produced by his sebaceous glands that may cause skin breakouts.

Kenma looked back at one of Kuroo's bodyguard and said, "Heard that?"

The man nodded and walked towards the kitchenette to make coffee for them.

"So what's with the sudden meeting?" Daichi asked while he leans his back on the sit. For a moment, the soft couch was a haven to his exhausting and aching body.

Kenma sat opposite them while Kuroo was leaning on the wall next to the window near them.

"You're slowly showing your true colors, huh?" Kuroo asked while staring intently at Daichi. His tone and expression awoke an old unwelcome feeling. "You're secretly helping the Division of Intelligence Agency, thinking we wouldn't know about it?"

Daichi was silent, expectant of what was to follow, for this was clearly only a prelude of what Kuroo was about to discuss with him about the incident three days ago.

"I heard that you helped Hinata get away together with Atsumu. And guess what? Sakusa-san was sooooo furious about it." Kuroo walked behind him and he tried not to flinch when Kuroo suddenly tapped his shoulder.

He leaned down next to his ear and whispered, "You think you can get away with this?"

"Sakusa-san will definitely have a talk with you as soon as he recovers from his wounds he had and I wouldn't assure you that he'll let you live any longer." Kenma said before proposing his plan to them. He wants to brainwash them and think that they're lives are in danger so they wouldn't have no choice but to follow their orders for now.

"What do you want me to do then?" Daichi asked, knowing what will Kenma will propose to him.

"I want you to lead the Kita clan with the purpose of obliterating the Sakusa clan." Kenma's voice sounded serious.

Daichi was silent for a moment. He picked at a loose thread on the couch, his mind obviously lost in deep thought. He knew something that it wasn't just about killing Sakusa Daiki. If this is all Kenma's plan, there will always be something that he will gain from it.

"What's the catch?" He asked even though he knew Kenma won't tell him everything.

"Nothing." Kenma flatly answered. "But the thing here is, since the Division of Intelligence Agency's main goal is to annihilate the Sakusa clan, we will ask for their help to make this plan happen. Compared to the number of members you have, it won't even be half of what the Sakusa clan has."

"You're telling me right now that Sugawara will help us instead of the Shibayama family doing it?" Daichi said, thoughts are slowly processing on what Kenma wants him to do.

"Don't worry." Kuroo said as he sits beside Kenma. "I will be the one killing Sakusa Daiki."

"But you do know that there are staff shortage on the agency, right?" Oikawa butted in. "We can't suddenly force the other agents from the agency, knowing they'll be dead on the spot as soon as they step foot wherever Sakusa Daiki is."

"That's why I want you to bring back Atsumu to help." Kuroo smirked as he leans close to Oikawa.

"I want him to help me kill Sakusa Daiki to avenge the death of his twin brother."
