I walked back to my room to see her lifeless body with the mask that was helping her breath over her nose. What I saw in her journal and Levi’s words hit me so hard. I wanted to get close to her but I was scared she would wake up and see me. 
I didn’t deserve to be close to her after all I’ve done yet I couldn’t stay away from her. 
I went to the bed and feel on my knees, the tears in my eyes had made my vision blur so I blinked to let them flow freely. 
“I’m sorry Elisa,” I mumbled, my eyes on her burnt hand….the same hand I burnt. Looking at it brought all the memories back and I fucking hated myself. I hated myself for everything I had put her through and I just wanted to put a gun to my head and pull the trigger.

In HOLY Matrimony

I arrived home with Tessa who was fast asleep at the back seat of the car. I opened the door and picked her up making sure not to wake her up in the process. I sent her to her room laying her down on the bed not forgetting to remove her shoes before covering her with her blanket. I gave her a peck on her forehead before leaving her room.

I walked into Leandro's and found him asleep. I guess dad brought him back earlier than expected. I gave him a peck on his forehead as well before leaving his room and turning towards the direction of mine. I  walked straight towards the bathroom to take a shower. I couldn't help but remember what Levi said today.

I am a real hypocrite. I brushed my fingers through my wet hair closing my eyes but the image of Elisa's dead eyes popped into my mind. I can't believe I have been such an asshole to her. I should probably see a therapist to help me out.
