I walked back to my room to see her lifeless body with the mask that was helping her breath over her nose. What I saw in her journal and Levi’s words hit me so hard. I wanted to get close to her but I was scared she would wake up and see me. 
I didn’t deserve to be close to her after all I’ve done yet I couldn’t stay away from her. 
I went to the bed and feel on my knees, the tears in my eyes had made my vision blur so I blinked to let them flow freely. 
“I’m sorry Elisa,” I mumbled, my eyes on her burnt hand….the same hand I burnt. Looking at it brought all the memories back and I fucking hated myself. I hated myself for everything I had put her through and I just wanted to put a gun to my head and pull the trigger.

<p>A week passed in a flash and the doctor who happens to be the man who saved me from those guys who so happens to be my doctor and Niokolai's friend told Nikolai something which he refuses to inform me about which I am forced to believe it is something important. I try asking him most of the time but he diverts the conversation.</p>

<p>He has been acting all careful around me lately and trying his best to make me forget about his past deeds but then how can I forget when he keeps on apologizing each passing minute he is around me. I've made it known to him that I have already forgiven him but he just doesn't believe it. One thing I learnt from an old lady who use to visit the church a few blocks from where I lived as a kid, She always told me to learn to forgive people and also forget about it and with that I will always be at peace but Nikolai seems to make that hard with his constant apologies.</p>
