"I still think you're too trusting if this is how you treat everyone you meet but none the less I'd be honoured to be your personal knight but are you sure you wish for me to be your personal knight I may never be able to tell you who I am," Diana replied but with less fight this time.
"Of course I'm sure and even if you never tell me who you really are, I know I can trust you, Diana," he answered full of conviction and Diana could tell he will make a great king.
In response, she pulled out one of her swords and kneeled in front of him holding her sword in both hands.
"I Diana of the Kingdom of Malum swear to protect you with my life until the day when I breathe my last and only with my death will my vow be broken, I swear upon my sword my life is yours to claim Crown Prince Alexander Audax Fides Ferox of The Kingdom of Fortis I swear my life to you," Diana swore a vow of undying loyalty to protect him until death.
"I Alexander Audax Ferox of The Kingdom of Fortis accept you as my knight," he responded picking up Diana's sword and tapping her shoulders with it. "Rise Diana of Malum." He commanded and she followed his orders she was now his personal knight his protector until death.
He handed Diana back her sword with a smile and she couldn't help but smile back.
"Does this mean I have to call you your highness?" Diana joked and he laughed.
"Only in formal settings but other than that you can just call me Alexander or Alex for short which ever you prefer."
"Ok then Alex can I ask you a question?" Diana asked as she tied Luna up to a tree as well as his horse before going and sitting down under a tree Alex walked over and joined her leaning against the tree with her.
"Sure, go ahead,"
"Why are you here at the border?" Diana asked this had actually been bugging her she couldn't figure out why he was here.
"I wanted to escape from everyone, from the palace and it's rules and everyone's expectations and I guess Malum seemed to be the best place to get away I just didn't expect someone to try and kill me here." He sighed with the thought.
"Why else?" She asked him he wasn't telling her everything for sure.
"What do you mean?" he asked caught off guard but quickly regaining his composuer.
"Your not telling me everything Alex," Diana said turning her head to face him, he'd already turnt his face to look at her so they were now face to face "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to?"
"No, your right I also came here because me and some of my friends were going to meet up here their from Fortis as well we decided to come here to get away from everything that's going on in Fortis," he sighed "but I don't think I'll be able to get to the meeting point in time."
"Why not? When are you suppose to get there?"
"I'm suppose to get to the Pultra waterfall in the Forest of Libertas by this evening but I won't make it and presides it's probably to dangerous with people trying to kill me."
"Your in the middle of a war people are always trying to kill you and your friends could be in danger as well," Diana said giving him a look.
"That's true, but I won't get there by this evening," he sighed.
"Don't be so sure," he looked at her sceptically "Don't forget I come from this Kingdom and I know a short cut to the Pultra Waterfalls I've been there before when I could escape and all, so why don't we see if we can get there in time?" she asked standing up and grabbing her ebony ribbon from her satchel and tied her hair up in a high pony tail.
"Thanks I'd appreciate that," he beamed standing up to join her.
"Let's go then," Diana said as she pulled up her cloaks hood "Alex," she called as he walked to his horse stopping him in his tracks, he turnt around and looked at her.
"Yeah?" he asked curiously.
"Can you see my face or hair?" she asked, she didn't want to bother him with it but she has to be sure it's not visible.
"No you can't, can I ask do you hide your face and hair so no one recognises you?"
"Yeah, no one from the other kingdoms know who I am but people in this Kingdom could figure it out and the people looking for me know who I am not by face atleast not many but because I'm of a highly respected noble family and my features such as my hair colour don't really get counted as normal around here."
"I get it, come on let's get going." He said not pushing Diana for any more information and giving her a walm smile.
"Yeah, let's," she replied walking up to Luna and untying her reigns before mounting her saddle Alex followed after Diana. She kicked Luna lightly and he followed her lead.
After around half an hour Alex began to speak "I'm sorry I know you were planning on leaving Malum kingdom and now because of me you have to stay here for even longer," he apologised to Diana his head bowed.
This shocked her a little he didn't need to apologise. "There's no need to apologise I chose to join you, presides it's my job to go with you no matter where unless you order me away."
"I know but I was willing to just go back home but you talked me out of it thank you," he said full of sincerity.
"You don't owe me any thanks Alex presides it'd be rude to stand your friends up I'm sure they wouldn't be happy with you,"
"Haha, that's true," he laughed at what she said. "You have a lovely horse Diana, what's she called?"
His question caught Diana slightly of guard but she answered his question none the less "She's called Luna, how about yours?" she asked she's actually rather curious.
"His names Solis," after that they rode in silence but it's not an awkward silence it's actually a calming, peaceful silence.

They rode for a few hours before finally arriving at the Pultra Waterfalls it's breathtaking the suns still in the sky and the place itself is gorgeous. The area around the waterfall was beautiful, flowers are in bloom and the grass is a luscious green with trees surrounding the open area.
There were two boys and two girls sitting there on the grass and their horses are tied to nearby trees eating the surrounding grass.
