This Place is Boring

Once again, we found ourselves walking down a long dark hallway. There wasn't much to say about this one, all it really had going for it was the occasional stone statue which Kazuo seemed interested in.

"What do you think is at the end of the dungeon?" Megumi asked, having a bored look on her face.

"Well most likely the dungeon's guardian if Akira hasn't already defeated it." Katsu responded.

After walking down the hallway for a seriously long amount of time we came across a door that blocked our path. How interesting.

I went to open the door but stopped myself when I grabbed the handle.

"What's wrong?" Megumi asked.

"What if this door turns out to be a trap as well?" I asked, still keeping my hand on the handle.

"Only one way to find out." Katsu shrugged.

You can't beat that logic.

I opened the door, half expecting something to jump out at me. Nothing happened. Through the door was an old looking library.

All three of us walked inside and began to look around. There didn't seem to be another door anywhere so it seemed to be a one way in and one way out kind of room. Unless…

"A secret door!" We all yelled simultaneously.

We all stopped and looked at each other. I guess we all were thinking the same thing.

"John, any clue how we can find the entrance?" Megumi said, walking next to me.

"Maybe one of the books is a lever which unlocks the door?" I said, somewhat asking myself.

"Well how can we find the right book?" She asked.

How the hell was a supposed to know? The best thing I could think of was trial and error but that would take forever. Maybe we'd get lucky and find it on the first try, though I highly doubt that would happen.

"I guess we just need to get lucky." I shrugged.
