Around 10,000 years ago a tree was planted in the center of our world. The tree was like a dungeon, every time you clear a floor the next one opens. John, a 16 year old adventurer decides that he wants to be the first person to reach the top of the tree. On his way up he meets new friends, will John reach the top of the tree? The Dungeon Tree

The sound of a click went off when I pulled the book of its shelf. That same bookshelf began to shake causing some of the dust to come off.


All it took was going through over half the books in this library to find the damn thing. I wasn't sure I should've been happy we found it or pissed that it took so long.


The bookshelf moved to the side and revealed a hidden stairwell that we could have just found if we destroyed the room but Katsu wouldn't let me.


"It's so dark down there." Megumi commented.


"Let's not waste any time." Katsu said, taking a step down the stairs.


Megumi and I shrugged at each other and also began walking down the stairs.


Even though it was dark I could still just barely see the stairs below me so I wouldn't end up falling down. The sound of a click caused me to stop in my tracks. I began to look around for the source but saw nothing change.


"Anybody else just hear that?" I asked.


The stairs beneath us suddenly flattened making a design similar to that of a slide. Only two words popped into my mind at that moment.


All three of us began sliding down what used to be the stairway at fast speeds.


We were all yelling at this point because we had no idea what we were heading into. After a solid twenty seconds of screaming we flew out of some doorway and slammed into a wall. It didn't hurt as much as I thought I would though. That's not to say it didn't hurt because it really did.


My eyes were still focused on the floor when I heard Katsu say "woah". I turned my head to see what he was looking at.


We were in a giant cave that's formations were breathtaking. There were small waterfalls on each side of the cave that created a body of water. In the middle of the room was an island that had some kind of stone structure on it.


"This place is incredible." Megumi said, looking all round the cave.


"What do you think is at that island over there?" Katsu asked, pointing towards the island.


"No idea. Wanna check it out?" Megumi asked.


What kind of question was that? Of course we'd want to check it out!
