Chapter Nineteen

Ahaan had finally confessed how he had felt. Hiding it hurt him. Maybe this was the way it would work. Maybe expressing it was the way to make her realise how cruelly she treated him.

"Karan is just a friend!" She said referring to the college guy who was actually a lot more than a friend. But he didn't need to know.

"I don't buy your lies anymore, Pihu! I have been given eyes that can see and a brain that can see and conclude on its own!"

"Ahaan, look at me." She grabbed his arms as he tried to run away from her. "Look at me! Forgive me, this once. Please." She gave the best shot she could, batting her lashes and fixing her puppy eyes on his. "I can't see you like this. I swear I didn't mean it when I said you could be with others. It hurts me a lot. You have no idea how it felt to see you online the whole night, not replying to any of my texts. You were talking to her, right?" She lifted the phone again to see the girl who stood beside him more clearly.
