A Step Forward! The Great Saiyaman Returns?!

After getting that arm from Hatsume, Momo has actually been feeling better mentally. It's been about a couple days since I got it from her, it still feels weird to have an arm there again. I've been hooked up to an oxygen mask for quite some time, not to mention the other treatments I've gone through. My phone rang, it wasn't who I was expecting.

"Melissa? How's it going?" I asked.

"It's going great! So, Dad and I heard about your injury from Uncle Might! We've been working on something that might help you out. It's being delivered to U.A. right now!" She answered.

"W-Wait... Hold on, what's being delivered? Is it arriving today?" I responded.

"Yep! And what it is, is medicine that's designed to repair your body using these artificial lifeforms we call 'Quirkbytes'! They're main goal is to speed up the healing process of an injury and maybe even treat life threatening diseases! Although, we aren't too sure about the disease hypothesis we've come up with, being that my Dad hasn't gotten the chance to test it on any kind of disease yet." Melissa explained.

"Huh, it'll speed up my healing process? That sounds wonderful!" I beamed.

"I knew you'd like it! It should be there soon, talk to you soon, Alyx!"

I said my goodbyes and hung up. I couldn't believe what I heard! And here I thought this whole healing process was gonna be long and drawn out. I went downstairs to grab something to drink from the kitchen. The door alarm went off.

"A package is here! A package is here!" All Might's voice relayed.

"Did they seriously let Deku install that into the door?" I muttered.

I walked over to the doors to see what exactly had been delivered. On the porch was a large, slender box next to another large box. I immediately knew what the contents held inside of them. I glanced to my left and then to my right before scurrying back into the dorms. I hurried up into my room and quickly opened the boxes. There it was in all of its glory, my new, pristine Great Saiyaman suit! I threw the other one out since it was way too little for me. I stuffed the costume all the way in the back of my closet.

I returned back downstairs; it was honestly really boring being at the dorms by myself. I rested on the couch and eventually dozed off. I woke up but not in the dorms, on a hill facing a large patch of these rather pretty red flowers in the distance. I've been having this dream constantly, I've been looking at pictures of flowers, I found out that those flowers are called 'Lycoris Radiata' or 'Red Spider Lillies'. Funny enough, I've never seen those flowers until I looked up a picture of them yesterday. Momo stood on the other side, but instead of standing there, she made her way towards me.

I stood there and waited for her; I couldn't move my legs anyway. I saw someone else laying in the field of flowers, I couldn't see their face, but they were slowly sinking into the flower bed. Momo finally made her way to me and reach out her hand. As soon as we intertwined fingers, I woke up from my dream to the sound of that alarm. At least it only plays twice...

"That must be those Quirkbytes Melissa told me about." I mumbled.

I got up and went to the door. I must've been out for quite some time, it was about 10 when I took a nap, and now it was about 1:30. I looked down at the porch and saw a small box. I picked it up and gently shook it, it sounded like dozens of pills were rattling around in there! I brought it into the kitchen and opened it up. There were two medicine bottles filled with regular looking pills. Inside was also a note from Melissa that read:

"Take 2 before bed and 2 in the morning. If you don't start to feel any changes or if you start to feel ill, do NOT hesitate to call me and DO stop taking them. I'll check up on you soon! Love, Melissa Shield."

So, I'm gonna have to wait until later tonight to take these things. Artificial lifeforms, she called them? Who knew I'd be having some sort of thing in my body...? And I should really start phrasing things better. I had the whole dorms to myself for the next 2 hours. What exactly should I do until everyone gets back? I sat back down on the couch and Luna came waltzing on over to lay on my lap. I scratched her head, which kind of felt a lot larger now than a second ago. I looked down and saw her in her human form, purring like no other. I stopped scratched her head which caused her to sit up and look at me.

"Alyx, why'd you stop? I don't think I hissed at you." Luna wondered.

At this stage in my life, I think I've finally reached a point of "I've seen everything that God could throw at me, why should I freak out at something like this." I patted her head and she slightly stuck her tongue out.

"I'm gonna tell you this, I've lost my mind completely, but I think that's fine." I smiled.

"Just keep patting my head and we'll be fine!" She chirped.

[Later That Night...]

"That's when I decided to dunk the chicken nuggets into the lemonade and THEN the barbeque sauce! Trust me, it tastes way better than it sounds!" Kaminari told us.

I planted my head on my hand, "K-Kami... How did it go from that to you and Mineta getting strung up outside by Shiozaki for saying you both were professional 'Fun Bag Inspectors'?"

"I'm setting up the plot, we'll get there when we get there." He replied.

"Holy fuck, Kaminari, how do you fucking do this?" Bakugo sighed.

"Do what? What am I doing?" Kaminari wondered.

Bakugo gestured up and down, all while maintaining a disgusted look on his face.

"This, just... This." He told him.

I decided to exit the conversation before things get heated. I made it up to my room, I made sure to take those pills with me.

"Hey, hey! Hold on!" I heard Momo call out.

She hurried over to me and grabbed my right hand. I could actually feel her hand, which honestly, was really nice! I gently rubbed my thumb along the top of her hand as we entered her room.

"What are those pills for? I've never seen them before, even the name is rather unfamiliar." She questioned.

"Melissa made these to help heal my lungs. They're called 'Quirkbytes', basically they help lessen the longevity of injuries and potentially diseases, although they have yet to test it out on any illness." I explained.

"Oh, that's rather innovative! They just keep coming up with remarkable technology every day, it seems." Momo smiled.

I glanced over at her closet, "This is completely off topic, but does that Great Sayiawoman outfit still fit you?"

"I don't think so, what brought that up, darling?" She responded.

"I was just wondering. It kinda just popped into my head, honestly." I chuckled.

"Please don't tell me you're thinking about dressing up like that again. It's rather adorable, but it's a little ridiculous!" Momo fretted.

"It's not ridiculous! I think it's cool..." I argued.

"If that's your idea of 'cool', you most definitely need to rethink some things, darling." She giggled.

I looked at her as she continued to giggle. I puffed my cheeks out and crossed my arms. Her laughing immediately stopped.

"Alyx, please don't do that. You're going to hurt yourself." Momo advised.

I kept it up and ignored her words. Momo shook her head before placing both of her hands on my cheeks.

"If you don't stop it, you won't be getting anymore night-time cuddles. You don't want that now, do you?" She coaxed.

"YOU SHANT BREAK ME, LIGHT OF MY LIFE, THAT DEED HAS BEEN MADE IMPOSSIBLE!" I told her telepathically.

Momo leaned forward and kissed me. I stopped keeping my cheeks puffed out to smile at her.

"Ooookay, never mind." I grinned.

Momo held both of my hands, she studied my robotic arm, it seemed as if she was fascinated by it. It's kind of hard to believe that I haven't had a real arm neither have I used my Quirk legitimately in almost a month!

"So, what all can this arm even do?" Momo asked.

"Well, I'm not entirely sure. But there is this thing I like to call 'Cat Scratcher Mode'. It's kinda funny!" I told her.

Momo called Luna up to her room, she peeked her head around the door before entering.

"You called?" She announced.

I simply put my right hand out to the side of me, in a matter of seconds, her head was right underneath my hand.

"Now, watch this!" I exclaimed.

I pressed a button on my arm and my fingers started moving rapidly.

"EEEEEEE!!! THESE ARE THE BEST HEAD SCRATCHES, EVER!!" Luna squeaked.

"Oh, goodness!" Momo laughed.

I looked over at the medicine, "Hey, could you give me two of those, please?"

Momo got up and got two of them out of the bottle. She handed me the pills before looking at the bottle.

"Hmm... It says that they're chewable. Perhaps you need to break the pill down in order for those things to start working." She observed.

I nodded and took my new medicine. It kind of tasted like strawberry candy! I thought it would've tasted like those cold medicines I used to take whenever I got sick. I sat there for a few moments until I heard Luna start snoring.

"Huh, she's got your snore, how adorable." I joked.

"My snore? You definitely need to hear yours, most nights, it sounds like the whole dormitory is falling apart!" Momo countered.

I lifted my hand from Luna's head and stopped the Cat Scratcher Mode. Luna poofed into her cat form subconsciously, allowing Momo and I to climb into bed. Tomorrow was going to be a boring day, that I'm sure of, and that I hope.

[The Next Day...]

I actually was able to breathe on my own today! Those Quirkbyte things sure are quick! I could still tell that I needed to still take them before I'm 100%. I decided to stay home today, I figured I should actually take Mr. Aizawa's advice and rest. I turned on the T.V. to see what exactly was on today. To my total shock and surprise, there wasn't a single thing on T.V. But there was one thing that caught my eye...

*THIRD PERSON*

"Are you getting all of this? Things aren't looking so good down there!" A News Reporter exclaimed.

High above a now destroyed town in the Aichi Prefecture, a news helicopter broadcasted the ongoing fight between Pro Heroes and a very familiar villain.

"AH HA HA! Isn't this fun, Mirko?! I've been waiting for this moment for a long time!" Black-Heart cackled.

His right arm became enveloped in glowing purple thorned flowers. He charged towards the injured Mirko but missed her somehow! He turned his head, showing a look of frustration, until he saw who stood in front of him.

"What in the hell...? Who are you supposed to be?" Black-Heart asked.

"Who am I?" The man announced in a generic hero voice.

He started a chain of poses, "I... Am the Hero of Justice, Defender of the Innocent... I am the Great Saiyaman!"

Endeavor looked over at him, his eyes lowered as he watched him pose.

"Was this the backup they sent? A newbie, really?" He sighed.

"Oh, how cute! Another little bug I get to squash!" Black-Heart laughed.

Leonidus stared him down, there was one question lingering in the back of his mind, how was Black-Heart alive? He activated Gear Three and slammed his fist into Black-Heart's stomach, sending him flying into a destroyed building. Black-Heart pulled himself out of a wall and started to laugh.

"You pack quite a punch, Saiyaman! This might be a challenge after all!" He grinned.

Black-Heart charged forward and slammed his fists down on the ground, sending pieces of debris scattering across the area, Leonidus moved from piece of debris to the next. He got closer to Black-Heart and hit him with a swift uppercut that made him stumble back. A purple flower shot out and hit Alyx's face, shattering the left side of his visor, revealing his left eye.

"Oh ho! I knew it was you from the moment you touched me! Let's have some fun, hero!" Black-Heart smirked.

"How in the hell are you alive?! I blasted you to pieces, there's no way you should've survived!" Alyx shouted.

"Let me just ask you this, don't you love scientists? How curious they are of the outer planets? When they saw a chunk of abnormal space rock, they just had to retrieve it, can you believe those fuckin' idiots? You shoulda seen the looks on their faces when I slaughtered 'em all!" He explained.

"Y-You... I'm ending this, today! You aren't walking another minute on this Earth, I fucking promise you!" Alyx thundered.

He charged towards Black-Heart with great speed, grabbing his face, and slamming him straight into the ground! Leonidus started up a flurry of punches to his chest until Black-Heart sent him flying into the air with a blast of thorny flowers! He went soaring into the air, the front part of his costume was cut up and both his chest and stomach were cut open slightly.

"M-Move this chopper, will you?!" The News Reporter yelled.

Right before he collided with the helicopter, a golden blur zoomed towards him, saving both the civilians and Alyx!

"Nice outfit... Alyx..." Kariya panted.

"K-Kariya? W-What... What are you doing here?" He wondered.

"I decided to take your place until you got back, I-I guess... I was a little over my head with it." Kariya replied.

The two landed back down onto the ground. Endeavor struggled to break free from Black-Heart's binds. Back at U.A., Izuku's phone was buzzing! The T.V.s in the cafeteria had interrupted their programs with live feed with what was going on in the Aichi Prefecture.

"Woah! Isn't that Sudden Death and... The Great Saiyaman?!" Kaminari exclaimed.

Momo's tray of food dropped to the ground and she ran over to the screen. The camera man had positioned it to where you could see underneath Alyx's helmet!

"T-That's... That's Alyx!" Momo shouted.

The entire cafeteria stood up and started talking among one another, everyone was worried, mostly Izuku and Yaoyorozu. They watched as both the Leonidus Brothers took on Black-Heart. The two had fought tooth and nail up until Black-Heart rammed his fist into Kariya, ensnaring him with a trap made of purple decaying flowers. Alyx turned his head for one moment and was rocked by a fist from Black-Heart. It sent him rolling across the ground, making him lose his helmet. He stumbled up to his feet and a ray of ice shot out towards Black-Heart!

"Leave him... Alone." Rei Todoroki fumed.

Endeavor turned his head and saw his wife in the distance. The binds that trapped him slowly started to break as he mustered even more strength to break them. The ice reached Black-Heart's arm, which caused him to smile, he held his other hand out towards Rei. Hundreds of thorned purple vines started to form around it.

"Another one wants to step in? I'll just kill ya too!" He cackled.

Black-Heart shot off hundreds of vines towards Rei!

"REI!!" Endeavor roared.

Alyx turned his head, mustering the strength he had, he leapt towards Rei! He shielded her as the vines whipped, rampaged, and cracked against his back. He grit his teeth and kept a firm grip on Shoto's mother as the attack slowly stopped. His back was a cut up, bruised, and bloody mess. Alyx's breathing became shaky as he struggled to stand back up. He slowly turned around to face Black-Heart.

[Flashback]

"Ms. America, can someone like me get stronger? You know... Someone who's nothing but a coward?" Alyx asked.

Ms. America turned around and placed her hand on his shoulder, "Anyone can get stronger, it all depends on your will to achieve that goal. You of all people, can achieve that goal, just promise me one thing, Alyx Leonidus."

"What is it?" He responded.

"That you'll always keep your promises. No matter what you have to do, no matter what stands in your way, just keep smiling. You want to be a Pro Hero like your Mother and Father, correct?" She questioned.

He nodded his head, "Y-Yes ma'am, I do! I promise, I'll do my best, just for you!"

"That's the spirit, you'll go far, Alyx. It's just like an old friend of mine used to say, 'I am here' with a smile whenever he'd save someone, or arrive to stop a villain. Having a smile on your face while facing something like a villain, that's true strength, that's when you know you aren't weak anymore." Ms. America grinned.

[Present Day]

"Aw... Look at that! Saving someone you don't even know!" Black-Heart menacingly beamed.

"SENSEI!!" Sota and Selina shouted.

Alyx's body trembled as he slowly stood back up to his feet. Blood poured down his back and his face. Overdrive began to spark around Alyx's body!

"I... Won't let you... Hurt anyone... Ever Again..." He panted.

His head shot up and a brightly shining smile was on his face. There wasn't a single hint of fear or worry written on his face. Endeavor had made his way over to his wife and held her in his arms. With his flames extinguished, the only person they could rely on was Alyx! Black-Heart completely enveloped himself with glowing purple flowers and thorny vines.

"A fitting end, just like how I killed your father, I'm gonna kill you the exact same way!" He laughed.

Alyx charged forward, reeling his right arm backwards, Black-Heart charged forward as well!

"One shot... That's all I need... I can't let him... Get past me to... Shoto's Mother and Father... I won't let my promises falter... Ms. America, I won't let you down!!" Alyx thought to himself.

(I.R.P.: Listen to "United States of Smash" from My Hero Academia)

The two clashed against each other's fists, "HA HA! You're still fighting, eh? I see... You're still hanging onto that stupid belief that you'll win! You need to learn when to quit! And I know just how to do that!!"

Everyone watched on in horror as Black-Heart shot his Quirk out towards Leonidus' heart, he violently coughed out blood as the color flickered from his eyes. It seemed as if all hope had been lost!

"𝘒𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘰, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘴!" His Father's words echoed in Leonidus' mind.

Leonidus stomped down into the ground as Black-Heart continued to push him backwards, his eyes were glowing a fierce dark blue.

"It's not because of my beliefs... It's because... I have promises that I need to keep... To everyone! Which means..." Alyx retorted.

Wind exploded outward as Leonidus halted Black-Heart's steadfast forward movement. The glowing thorns exploded off of Leonidus which caused Black-Heart to lower one of his eyebrows.

"W-What...? Don't think that I can't kill you, Leonidus! I've got tricks up my sleeve too!" Black-Heart cackled.

"That I won't..." Alyx muttered.

Suddenly, Leonidus' robotic arm detached, causing Black-Heart to look alarmed.

"EVER DIE!!" Leonidus screamed.

He landed a hard left fist right into Black-Heart's face! He stumbled backwards but shook it off before spitting blood.

"That was pathetic! What makes you think you can win?!" He shouted.

"I wasn't even using my Quirk, that's why!" Alyx yelled.

Leonidus reeled his left arm backwards, a Rage arm plus his Overdrive covered the entirety of it.

"𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦, 𝘈𝘭𝘺𝘹. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰! 𝘐𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘜𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦. 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘪𝘵, 𝘈𝘭𝘺𝘹 𝘓𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘴!" He remembered Ms. America's words.

Alyx charged forward towards Black-Heart with his eyes shining brightly, "NRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGHHH!!!!"

"𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘉𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬-𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵!" Leonidus thought.

His fist connected against Black-Heart's face and he drilled it further into him.

"SILVER STATE... NEVADA... FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIST!!!" He roared.

Black-Heart's head crashed into the ground, uprooting the concrete with a hellish blue and red colored light of energy! The binds around Kariya faded away and he quickly sat up. The smoke cleared, Alyx's left arm was steaming, Black-Heart's head was a bloody mess. Alyx's torn red cape flown in the breeze, he raised his right arm up and sent Overdrive into it. The entirety of U.A. High hooted and hollered out of joy. Tears began to fall down Endeavor's face.

"Thank you... For being our hero... Alyx Leonidus." Endeavor whispered.

Kariya stumbled up to his feet and made his way towards Alyx. He approached him, tears were rolling down Alyx's face as well, he looked up at Kariya and smiled. He looked down and picked Alyx's robotic arm back up for him.

"Missing something?" He slightly smiled.

Kariya put his arm back on for him, he looked over to Black-Heart's dead body with a grin.

"I-I... I did it... It's over." Alyx told him.

Kariya and Alyx embraced as brothers for the first time in years. It wasn't because of a deal that had been made or the fact that someone's name had been cleared, it was out of brotherly love. Back at U.A. everyone watched as the two hugged it out.

"They finally made up, they're brothers at last." Momo smiled.

"W-Wait... THEY'RE BROTHERS?!" Jiro shouted.

"Yes, I thought he already told all of you?" Momo wondered.

Sato shook his head, "Well, it's kind of hard to know when he used to go out all the time. None of us barely had the chance to ask him who he was!"

In the Seventh Plane, Darren Leonidus watched on with a smile on his face. Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Kanao, and Inosuke couldn't be anymore prouder in Alyx and Kariya. At U.A., the live feed from the scene cut, leaving everyone wondering what was going to happen next. Momo looked down at the ground as everyone made their ways back to their seats.

"He really did it... Just for a moment, it's exactly like what we've studied in the past with Midnight." She thought to herself.

*LEONIDUS P.O.V.*

Endeavor & Shoto's mother came over to Kariya & I. I didn't realize that she had been transported here after what that other Tomikoa did in the Northern Shizuoka Prefecture. I honestly hadn't expected Endeavor of all people to hug me! Shoto's mother handed me my helmet back and I dusted it off.

"Thank you, Alyx. I'm in your debt." Endeavor told me.

"No, you don't owe me anything. I've finally made peace with my past. That's the one thing I've wanted for a while now." I politely declined.

"Huh, this is the first time I've seen you up close and personal, Endeavor. Without fighting, of course." Kariya laughed.

I looked down at my right arm, Hatsume was right, this thing really is durable! I used pretty much my full power in just my right arm when I clashed with him and there isn't a single dent or scratch on it! Shoto's Mother gave me a hug, which kind of made my back feel nice, then I realized that she was using her Ice Quirk on my back. I was wondering how everyone else was doing at home, hopefully if they were watching, I didn't make them worried about me.
