I made sure that Black-Heart was ACTUALLY dead this time. He's too much of a threat to be kept alive. I was honestly really stretching it with using my Quirk's full power, I probably would've injured myself further if I held it for even another second. The only Gear I could go into without straining myself was Gear Three, thanks to Melissa and her Father's medicine, that stuff was working rather quickly! I looked down toward Black-Hearts body and gently smiled.
"You're truly the one person that's helped me grow stronger, Black-Heart. That's the only thing I can thank you for." I thought to myself.
Kariya placed his hand on my back, "Hey, come on, let's get this place cleaned up. We can't exactly leave this place like this."
I felt him heal me up back to 100%. I nodded at him and got to work with the cleanup. I made my way over to Mirko, luckily, she wasn't close to the impact zone!
"Heh... S-So, you were the Great Saiyaman all along... Alyx?" She smirked.
"Yeah, I figured I could keep it a secret, but I guess everyone in Japan knows now!" I laughed.
I treated her injuries before returning to clean up the town. As I kept glancing over at the impact crater, Kaminari's words repeated in my head, maybe he was right. We shouldn't be dealing with things like this, we're basically still kids. I mean, I would still have an arm and I'd still be able to use my Quirks if they hadn't treated us like Pros. But in this case, this was my problem to deal with, so I have nobody to blame but myself.
[3 Hours Later...]
I returned to the dorms after a few hours of cleaning up what we could of the city. I walked in to find just Shoto and Momo sitting on the couch in the Common Room. I walked over and sat down next to Shoto. He looked over at me and gave me a hug.
"You have no idea how much you mean to me, Alyx. Thank you." He softly spoke.
I hugged him back, "Don't mention it, I would put myself on the line for any of your guys' family members. Their importance is much greater than mine."
"So, he wasn't killed? I thought you had killed Black-Heart once you got your Quirk back, darling?" Momo asked.
"That's what I thought too, I guess luck was really on his side, or had been I should say. A few scientists brought him back down to Earth thinking he was some sort of abnormal space rock of sorts. And of course, those scientists are now dead." I explained.
I sat forward and clasped my hands together. Momo moved over to the spot next to me.
"Are you alright, Alyx?" She questioned.
"I'm not sure. One part of me finally feels relieved, while the other wishes that I could've saved him somehow. But a man like him, someone overflowing with malice and negativity, I don't think I could ever save someone like him. Shigaraki at least had an ounce of pure heartedness in him." I replied.
My phone pinged; it was a text from both Laura and Kaminari, they asked if I could see them in their rooms. I went upstairs to see Laura first before going to Kaminari. I opened Hagakure's door and Laura immediately rushed towards me, wrapping her arms around me.
"I-I thought you wouldn't survive! You had me worried sick!" She sniffled.
"Yeah, that was super scary! Also, why'd you wear that outfit?" Hagakure added.
"Well, I didn't want to worry you guys, but I guess I did just that after all!" I chuckled.
Laura pressed the side of her face into my chest, "Is he dead, for real this time?"
"Yes, Kariya and I made sure of it. There is no more Black-Heart, and for the first time, I can say that I'm honestly feeling okay." I smiled.
I told her and Hagakure to have everyone meet me downstairs. I left towards Kaminari's room, as I walked through the door, he was sitting on his bed listening to music. He looked up from his phone and towards me.
"You wanted to talk to me?" I wondered.
He nodded as he paused his music and took out his earphones. I sat down next to him and he sighed.
(I.R.P.: Listen to "From Me to You" from My Hero Academia)
"Alyx, I... How are you like this? Seriously, you're so kind and friendly towards everyone. But I'm just... Me." Kaminari wondered.
"Kaminari, if you're comparing yourself to me, just stop right there. It's just who I am as a person, it's not because I have to, it's the path I've willingly chosen. You don't need to stop being yourself because of what other people think of you. Who you are makes you unique, nobody wants a bland Denki Kaminari, they want the real one! If you can get up in the morning and still feel like yourself, then that's all that matters." I told him.
"But Jiro, she always tells me that I'm an idiot. Which I honestly guess she's right. I just feel like that's all I am to anyone, that one guy who's just an idiot." He replied.
I put my hand on his shoulder, "Then just tell her how you feel, Kaminari. You shouldn't be holding your feelings in, I know what that's like, feeling almost as if you HAVE to be strong. Nobody is going to brush your feelings off as something idiotic, neither are they expecting you to be strong all the time. It's okay to cry and it's okay to be upset, but it's not alright to bottle those things up. Kaminari, you make all of our days brighter with those wacky things you say. Not to mention all of our antics as well!"
I felt Jiro's Heat Energy right up close to the door, I guess they must've had some sort of falling out, since they hadn't really been talking to each other for a little bit.
"I'm going to tell you this, Kaminari, you're a hero to all of us. You've cheered us up so many times, it's almost as if that light of yours shines brighter than the sun." I smiled.
Kaminari teared up and buried his head into my shoulder as he hugged me. I looked over at the slightly opened door. I signaled for her to come in, she slowly walked in, Kaminari looked up from my shoulder.
"J-Jiro?" He sniffled.
I got up from his bed, "I'll leave you two alone. I'll be downstairs if you guys need anything."
Jiro nodded at me before I left the room. I made my way downstairs to the Common Room. Everyone was there waiting for me, I sat down in the middle of Momo and Bakugo.
"I'm glad you all came down here, I know I've got quite a bit to tell you. But I cleared my brother's name, as you all know, he was the villain 'Sudden Death'. He's older than me by 3 years, which of course, means I'm the middle child. We've had a... Interesting past. He ran away from home sometime after I developed my Quirks. I guess he's always thought it was my fault for 'stealing the spotlight' so to say." I told them.
"I'm sure him and my brother would be great friends." Shoto remarked.
I told them more about my family and my past. As nightfall came, and as I ran out of stories, we all got ready for bed. I stood outside on my balcony to take in the night air. It was a rather starry night out for it being November. Although I felt a heavy burden lift off of my entire body, I almost felt as if I wasn't ready for it yet, maybe this is what inner peace truly felt like? I heard my balcony door slide open.
"Hey, you looked a little lonely out here, I'm assuming you'd like some company?" Momo smiled.
I looked over and smiled back, "Of course, you don't need to assume."
She walked over and hugged me from behind, Momo rested her head on my back.
"Your lungs don't sound as congested as before; it sounds like your breathing is much better as well. Dr. Shield and his daughter are truly quite the inventors." She continued.
"Yeah, I'm actually feeling a lot better. I talked to Mr. Aizawa about it once I got back from Aichi. I should be back to training sometime this week. But tomorrow, Mr. Aizawa wants me to watch over Eri until you all get back from the U.S.J. Good luck helping those First-Years out, from what Mr. Aizawa told me, they're a bit of a handful." I replied.
We sat there in silence for a bit, she pushed herself closer to me, before speaking once more.
"I overheard All Might and the other teachers that the Quartet Girls were amassing some sort of army. Either that, or the resources they're getting are for something else. Whatever they're planning, it can't be good." Momo informed me.
"Well, if that's the case, then we'll need to be ready for anything. Rest assured, I'll send all of them six feet under if I need to." I reassured.
Momo placed her chin on my back, "You know something, you should be arrested. In all honesty, you are the only person in this dormitory that's killed some kind of villain multiple times. So technically, I'm in love with a criminal, which is rather humorous!"
"Huh... I never realized that. I guess I really should've been put in Tartarus after all!" I laughed.
We started laughing together, then hers slowly stopped as I began to cackle deviously, which I suddenly stopped.
"I'm just kidding! Come on, let's head to bed, I'm tired and I'm pretty sure Mr. Aizawa will be here early in the morning tomorrow." I chuckled.
[The Next Morning...]
I brushed my hair and my teeth before heading downstairs. There on the couch, was Eri, she looked like she just woke up! I rubbed my eyes and saw Mr. Aizawa standing right next to me.
"We'll be back around 5 or so, don't do anything reckless, alright?" Mr. Aizawa asked.
I nodded at him, "Yes sir, Mr. Aizawa!"
He left the dorms as Eri walked over towards me. She grabbed my hand and gently tugged it.
"Mr. Leonidus, I'm hungry." Eri yawned.
"Well, what would you like?" I questioned.
"Catcakes! Please!" She replied.
Catcakes...? Like, pancakes in the shape of a cat head? I got to work and began to make these "Catcakes" for the both of us. Eri hopped up onto one of the kitchen chairs and watched as I made breakfast for the both of us.
"Hey, what kind of fruits do you like?" I asked.
"Apples! Oh and grapes and blueberries and peaches!" Eri exclaimed.
I created an afterimage that moved to the fridge to check for those fruits. Pancakes didn't take that long to make now that I could actually use my Quirk! I put two pancakes on a plate for me and one on another plate for her. My other afterimage had cut up peaches and apples at the ready in a bowl that was placed down in front of Eri.
"Uh... Where's the kitty face?" Eri fretted.
Mikaboshi phased out of me and changed the shape of the pancake into the shape of a cartoon cat head. Her eyes lit up and she looked up at Mikaboshi.
"This child, I'm sensing a rather... Adorableness coming from her, is this the one called 'Eri', Sir Alyx?" Mikaboshi.
"Yep! This is Eri! Eri, this is Mikaboshi, you can call him 'Boshi' for short." I confirmed.
Eri touched his brightly glowing arm, "Woah, soft! You're just like Luna!"
Mikaboshi let off a chuckle before returning to me. I sat down next to Eri and started to eat my breakfast. Eri was flying through her food!
"Hey, kiddo, slow down there! You don't wanna get a tummy ache!" I chuckled.
"I know, but Minna no Kimochi is almost on! Mr. Eraser Head always lets me watch it in the morning!" Eri replied.
I looked over towards the T.V., I got up and turned it on. Eri followed me over and told me what channel it was on. I turned to that channel right on time, as it just then began to play.
"Come on, Mr. Leonidus! Dance!" She giggled.
"Like them? It's seems easy, alright, let's do it!" I smiled.
We matched the movements on the T.V., I'd have to say, it was rather simple! I guess all that time doing DDR and having Mina teach me breakdancing really paid off! Although, there wasn't any sort of breakdancing involved. I wasn't entirely sure if I heard one of the lyrics right, but it kind of nearly made me laugh! After that whole dance thing, it changed to regular children's programming. We went back to our pancakes and finished up our breakfast. I sat down on the couch with Eri as she poked my metallic arm.
"Mr. Leonidus, this looks cool, but I can make it cooler!" Eri told me.
Eri hopped down from the couch and hurried towards one of the cabinets below the T.V. She pulled out a whole bunch of cat themed stickers! Apparently, there was a brand called 'NEKO' that had an assortment of merchandise. She put a couple of stickers on my arm then patted them for good measure. I looked at my right arm and laughed.
"Hey, this looks great! I like your design choice, Eri!" I beamed.
"Hee hee! I knew you'd like it!" She grinned.
My phone rang, I looked over at the kitchen table and used an Overdrive Whip to grab it. It was a facetime call from Momo, I answered it to see that Mineta was getting strangled by Bakugo.
"YOU LITTLE SHIT! SAY THAT AGAIN GRAPE HEAD!!" He roared.
The camera flipped back over to Momo's face, "So, as you can see, we're all getting along quite well right now."
"I can tell! How far how are you guys from the U.S.J.?" I laughed.
"About an hour and a half or so, I believe. How's it going with you and Eri?" Momo responded.
Eri poked her head out into view of the front camera.
"Creati! I put kitty stickers on his arm and made it look really pretty! Oh, and we also danced and he made me Catcakes!" Eri chirped.
"Oh, how wonderful, Eri! It sounds like you two are having fun." Momo smiled.
I panned the camera down to my arm, "Yeah, she's got quite the set of stickers! Anyways, is Mr. Aizawa meeting you guys up there?"
"Yes, from what he told us; he was dropping Eri off with you then meeting us there. I'm fairly certain he's almost there knowing him! Oh, before I go, I've sent you something. I'm sure you'd be interested in it!" She told me.
"Alright, will do. I love you, Momo!" I grinned.
"I love you too Alyx, stay safe you two!" She replied.
I hung up and Eri went to her coloring book. What did Momo send me? Did she get some sort of lead on the Quartet Girls or something? If she did, it could definitely help out the Pros. I sat forward to grab my cup of orange juice, I took a drink from it as I opened up Momo's message. I immediately spit an entire mouth full of orange juice out as I finally saw what it was. I accidentally used Overdrive: Breakdown and teleported into the kitchen.
"Mr. Leonidus! Are you alright? Did you throw up?" Eri worried.
"I-I'm all good Eri! J-Just accidentally spit out some orange juice, that's all!" I quickly answered.
I seriously nearly went into Infinite Mode, crushed my phone, and used an Omega Burst as soon as my eyes graced the absolutely glorious image in front of me. BUT I must not let thoughts get the best of me, this wasn't the first time this has ever happened to me, that I know!
"Mr. Leonidus, can I see what you're looking at?" Eri wondered.
I jumped and nearly dropped my phone, "I-I-It's just a... Nothing! Completely blank!"
Eri tilted her head and blinked a few times. I quickly put my phone away then ushered her away from the kitchen.
"How about we color together! Doesn't that sound like fun?" I nervously laughed.
"Yeah! Can I color your arm, please?" She exclaimed.
"Of course! Go right ahead!" I smiled.
[4 Hours Later...]
I'm now sitting with a rather pretty pink, glittery, sparkly cat sticker metal arm. If this is my first dose of what having a kid feels like, it's honestly really fun! She wanted to play dress up which ended up in her wanting to make me a "pretty princess". After putting on a few things, Eri put a tiara on my head and a couple of her hair clips.
"Now you're a pretty princess!" Eri giggled.
There was a knock on the door and I got up to answer it. I opened the door to a now rather confused Luna.
"Whaaaaat...?" Laura questioned.
"I'm a princess, what? Is it hard to tell or something?" I lowered my eyebrow.
I let her inside, Eri jumped up as soon as she saw Luna. With a big smile, she ran over to Luna, Eri gave her a huge hug! She let Eri pat her head a couple times.
"Did you guys already have lunch? If not, I'm starving!" Luna told us.
"Uh huh, we already ate lunch. We took a break from coloring my arm to go get something to eat. I have some stuff in the fridge that you can have if you'd like." I replied.
Luna hurried over to the fridge in a flash. I guess she must've been really hungry if she was moving that quick! Eri wanted to watch T.V. with me so we sat back down on the couch. The others should be home in about a few hours now, I'm assuming they'd want me to make dinner for them, unless they decide to go get something to eat. Luna came over with the food I told her about and sat next to me. The show we were watching was rather interesting, it honestly felt kind of tiring as well. After a couple episodes, I felt Eri's head hit my side, she was fast asleep. Then Luna clung to my arm and fell asleep as well.
"Good grief... I guess it's nap time." I muttered.
I leaned my head back and closed my eyes. Luna's quiet purring eventually helped me fall asleep.
*THIRD PERSON*
[Several Hours Later...]
Class 3-A returned from their trip to the U.S.J., they entered the dorms to a rather adorable sight. Leonidus, Eri and Luna were all cuddled up with each other on the couch, fast asleep.
"Oh my goodness! Quick, take a picture!" Mina whispered.
Hagakure quickly took her phone out and snapped a picture.
"I'm gonna send it to the group chat!" Hagakure whispered back.
"Mr. Aizawa, should we wake them so that Eri may return with you?" Iida asked.
Shota shook his head, "No, they'll be alright here. There's no need to wake them."
Iida nodded his head at his answer. The others got around while Momo brought down a blanket. She wrapped it around the three and gave Alyx a kiss on the forehead. Underneath the blanket, Alyx's veins in his left arm and hand began to glow slightly.
