For the next couple of weeks, Emma and Rupert had to put up with Clarissa. On ocassions she would be seen lounging on the couch after her shifts at work, eating some rocky road ice cream, and watching the movie: When we first Met. Along with the movie: Love Actually. She was big on romance movies, or any movies that had songs in them, so she would often be heard singing classic disney songs and crying. There was lots of crying.

Rupert had sometimes would stand behind the couch, or sit down on one of their kitchen stools, and just stare at Clarissa, he was having enough, of hearing the same songs on repeat, almost memorizing some of them. Even once, he yelled at her for having it up too loud around midnight, as it literally drove him insane.

Emma on the other hand, would sometimes keep Clarissa company, singing the disney songs with her, to at least make her feel better before she would head off for her midnight shift at a grocery store. She prefered working late hours, than during the day. It just made her feel more, comfortable than working the day shifts. Seeing as it was naturally busy in New York, she knew that stores would be incredibly crowded.

It was sometime in the middle of the week, when Rupert was having enough of the disney songs, he was getting easily frustrated and annoyed, watching as Clarissa had been singing and crying for a couple of days, he knew she could do better than that, so when the next movie she was putting on he instantly got up out of his seat and snatched the remote from Clarissa.

"HEY! I was gonna watch that!" She said as she sat up on the couch, her eyes slightly red and puffy from crying from the last movie: Finding Nemo. She was about to play tangled again, when she got rudely interrupted by Rupert.

"yeah I know you were, about fifty more times maybe!" Rupert had said as he stood in front of Clarissa, who was sat on their couch, hair a mess, as she was still in her work clothes. She had an early day, and came home around lunch time. Rupert works in a bar, and does night shifts as well, as Emma. "Today, I think we should go out and get some sunlight, you desperately need it. Not to mention, I'm going to help you get back into the swings of things. I can't keep listening to these songs, they are driving me insane!" He said as he was trying to reason with Clarissa.

However, Clarissa was still not having it. She rubbed her eyes a bit and gave him a pouty glare. "And what do you have against Disney? Mr.Sinclaire!" Having finally learnt their last names the night before, as the three of them was gathered on the couch, playing a card game.

"nothing! But when you've played the same few over and over, memorizing the songs in your head it does get to be annoying!" he complained, as he was now getting upset with how stubborn Clarissa can be. "come on, come out to the bar tonight. You've been cooped up in here every night for the last week! Doesn't it get boring?" He said as he placed his hands on her shoulders and shook them a little bit.

Clarissa did see what he meant, but she has just been so nervous about going out again, not wanting a chance to run into Laurence. She still had half of her things, and didn't even have a chance to go over, confront Laurence, and get her things back. She knew she would have to one day, but today was not that day. Sighing, she shook his hands off of her shoulders and threw them up in the process. Giving in.

"FiNE! I'll go to your stupid little bar. Just give me some time to clean up around here and shower yeah?" She said as she got the remote back from him, and frowned as she turned off the tv. "Goodbye Nemo.." She whispered and threw the remote back on the couch, before straightening up the living room, and going to clean the kitchen dishes, taking her a little over half an hour to do so.

"You're PROCRASTINATING." She could hear Rupert shout from the couch, as he took up the space watching some football. He knew that Clarissa was just 'cleaning the kitchen' so she wouldn't have to go.

"Oh come on Ru! Give her a break!" Clarissa could hear Emma shouting from the bed room. She still wasn't entirely open about what happened to her and Laurence, and she planned to keep it that way until she was 100% comfortable around Emma and Rupert.

"Oh hush, Mr.Crabby pants. I'm going for a shower now." as she huffed and threw down one of the rags on the counter, and headed towards her room, grabbing a simple black dress, and converse shoes. She hated heels and there was absolutely no way anyone could make her wear them.

She started to hum a song from Tangled, and walked down the hall into the shower room. It was a pretty weird space if she was honest. It was like a school bathroom, except with a walk in shower in it. They had urinals for the guys, and a bathroom stall for the girls. It was a decent size, as there were two sinks attached to the walls, along with a couple mirrors.

Glancing at her reflection, she didn't realize how bad she has been looking. Puffy eyes, runny mascara, and her short brown hair was knotted. She looked fine that morning during work, but boy, when she was back at the apartment, she was a pure mess.

She started to get undressed, and got into the shower. Smiling to herself, as she felt the nice warm water, run down her pure skin. She barely disliked anything about her body. If she could change something, it would be the way that she stood. Sometimes, she would cross her feet, and just stay there like that. From another person's point of view, she would look twisted, and not knowing which direction she wanted to go in.

Clarissa heard someone come into the bathroom, and heard them turn on the sink. "don't forget to shave your legs!" She heard Emma's voice say, making her chuckle slightly.

"yes mother, I'll do them now." Clarissa had sarcastically said, as she grabbed her razor from the bottom shelf and started to do her legs.

It took her sometime, before she was finally done with her shower. She turned off the water, and got out of the shower, wrapping herself in a white towel. She wasn't too sure what was gonna happen that night, but she could tell that Emma and Rupert wanted her to have some fun.
