Chapter 18

"He started investing in stock markets by the age of 10 with the help of a man. At the age of 14, he got his first PhD in Software Engineering. At the age of 16, he got PhD in business administration and by the age of 18, he got another PhD in Economics. He then designed, and established a company called "Saans Technologies". In the same year he launched a bullion based crypto currency. This currency due to its unique features and guaranteed value return became the most traded currency worldwide making him the first trillionaire ever by 2040." Lisa was doodling on notebook now.

"You can see three buttons beneath Mic on right side of the table. Green button is tagged: Question. On your turn, press this button if you want to ask a question." Amanda pointed at the screen displaying buttons.

"He later got more PhDs in Quantum Physics, Astrophysics, Cosmology, Genetics, Applied Physics, Engineering and Geophysics. He founded many non-profit research facilities under the umbrella of Saans Technologies. Instead of being a stuck in the room scientist, he encouraged and supported scientists. Not only that but he also achieved advanced black belt in many martial arts and trained in using various weapons." Lisa's unconscious doodling continued.

"Press blue button tagged Skip, if you do not want to ask a question but would like to question on next turn and press red button tagged Finished if you are out of questions on the subject of this press conference." Amanda was looking at the screen.

"Within few years, these research centers became leaders in certain fields. Saans technologies succeeded in artificial cloning of the major human organs, tapping into the realms of immortality. They were leading manufacturers and suppliers of spaceships and communication related hardware and software across the globe. They had recently announced that they will soon find a way to access 4th dimension." Lisa exhaled again and shut the notebook down. She reached inside her bag and put out a paper.

"The timeframe of this press conference has not been set. Press Conference will end only after all of you will have pressed red button. Now please allow me to introduce participants of this press conference." Amanda paused.

The paper was printed and on top of it was written: "Questions to be asked." Lisa received this just this morning. She started studying the paper.

"From your right: Dr. Nathan graham, director of the Saans Genetics; Dr. Seinfeld Bradwell, director of Saans Communications; Dr. Melissa Jones, Director of Saans spacecrafts; Dr. Madison Orwell, director of Saans Earth; Dr. James Breakwell, president of Saans research facilities, director of Saans Space Center and director of Peoples' Association." Amanda paused. Seat next to Dr. James was empty. Screen was also displaying the person, whose name was being announced.

"Dr. Nolan Smith, director of 4th Dimension; Dr. Khalil Moosa, director of Acceleration; Dr. Amare A Achebe, director of Saans Soft-Solutions and Dr. Mathira Omprakash, director of Access." Amanda introduced all the participants.

"Now lastly, please allow me to introduce the Founder and CEO of Saans Communications. Please welcome…" Amanda paused.

A man entered from the gate and proceeded towards the empty seat. The screen displayed the entrant.

"He is not just brains but brawns as well." Lisa gasped looking at him.

He looked like he was in his late 20s or early 30s. He had taken his looks from his mother. He was 6 Feet and 6 inches tall with natural dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. His eyes were full of life and energy. He had light brown complexion and muscular body just like athletes. He was wearing Blue jeans and Crimson shirt with Camel overcoat and Brown leather derby shoes. Even in this too casual and inappropriate for the occasion dress he looked cool and chic.

"Daniel Z. Youssef". Amanda screamed.

Daniel came up the stage and sat in his chair. Amanda signaled the woman on left to start questioning.

"Sir, I was just reading the plan for "Peoples Association" and it was written there that the spaceship you called, "Mother Earth 1" will have floor of the sand. How? I mean is that even possible?"

"Yes, that's the plan and No, we do not have such advanced technology to make it true as of YET." Daniel calmly responded.

"But we are working on it and we will surely make it happen within Fifty years that we have got." Daniel further added.

"How? I mean, we did some number crunching, and the results are unbelievable. In the report, it says that the floor of the ship will be one kilometer deep and it will have the area more than Indian subcontinent. If we take the average mass of continental crust and the area of Indian subcontinent, our calculations state that it will require 625 quintillion tons of sand or simply 625 Million Trillion tons of sand to create that. This sounds like a fairy tale." Second journalist read from his notebook. Daniel chuckled.

"Nice. Your calculations are correct." Daniel paused.

"Look at the current state of our Space technology. Only Five years ago NASA sent a probe to Mars that could bring 100 tons of samples from Mars. That probe was designed by "Saans spacecrafts" under the supervision of brilliant Dr. Melissa Jones. As of now, we have successfully designed the spaceship with the capability to carry weight up to 1,000 tons. It took us only Five years to increase the capacity by Ten-fold." Daniel paused.

"You need to understand that carrying something nonliving from here to space or vice versa is less risky and complicated. We expect that within next 25 years, we will be able to design spaceships that will be able to carry at least One Million tons of weight to and back from space. Now calculate! The numbers will start making more sense." Daniel smiled.

"But why? I mean, why should you bother? Can't humans survive without sand in space? Why waste precious technological, material and human resources in doing so when you can exist without this more complicated and difficult process?" Another journalist asked.

Daniel laughed.

"You guys are not going to leave this sand thing like that?" Daniel pondered for a while.
