"Thank you." He finished his speech and shut his mic down.

"Are you well?" Dr. Moosa asked with concern in his distinct Arabic accent.

"Yeah. No need to worry." Dr. Madison forced his smile.

He had been in pain after he got his right kidney surgically replaced, three months ago, with the artificially cloned in the lab. He had been feeling well initially until a surge of pain swept through his abdomen, around two months back. He visited the designated lab right away; after running a series of tests, they concluded that his new kidney was rejecting his body.
