98. Act of the duel! Ikamoto Hihara!

[Rescuing Ayuka: Arc 5]

'Henshin' a powerful technique which involves changing someone's Ginken and themselves. This strength is provided with incredible 'Spiritual Power', being one of the most difficult techniques to learn, it requires for a Ginkenian, Soul Caller or any other races to pressurize one Soul to their Ginken, one done so both Spirit and Aura combine into one, which might change someone's aura, depending on fusion. After the combination is set, the strength will sky-rocket, many Ginkenians cannot learn such technique, duo to low pressure of spirit and low strength.

Sometimes, 'Henshin' can be combined with another technique such as 'Spiritual Mode' for it to be more efficient, the technique's look will be considered after the inner Spirit of a Ginkenian and Ginken, when the pressure creates a barrier and insane aura, it will fully unlock such technique...

Kanji and Odina were already on the go. "Ehm, do we even know where to go?" Questioned Odina with rush behind Kanji. "No, not perfectly, though, the rest are also going to have struggle, we should probably stick together, this way we'll have better chance of survival... however, I am worried about our enemies, I've heard that Ginkenians in this Realm are very skilled and there is a total number of 13 Clans, this means, we might need to fight at least one or two, lieutenants or even captains, don't be yet relieved... you've heard that they've prepared, splitting us up was a correct thing that they've done..." Both of them switched sides to a turn. "But I am not here to fight... what am I supposed to do, I could, but I just wouldn't be much of help..." Answered Odina. "You're here for support, if somebody gets injured, you'll be able to heal them... and don't get involved into multiple fights, we should stand in the dark for them to be incapable of seeing " Explained Kanji who just sighed at the spot. "Yes, but don't they have the ability to sense 'Spiritual Symbolism'?" "For us, that shouldn't be a problem, you're not exactly a Ginkenian, so your Spiritual Symbolism is not as endangered... as for me, I can at least lower my pressure so that our hunters won't be able to sense me easily." Kanji and Odina were running on the flat floor, when Kanji heard noise and quickly pulled Odina back into the shadow alley. "We've been ordered, there are two of them on this side, look for them and don't allow them to get past you!" Shouted a Ginkenian from 6th Clan. "We know, we're aware!" The entire squad blasted past them, luckly not being able to find Odina nor Kanji. "They gone?" Odina wondered and was quickly given an answer. "We're fine, they didn't find us, let's keep moving, try to find a way to meet with the rest, we have to get past the main gate which is probably guarded by a tougher opponent..." Answered Kanji, to make sure that nobody was around the area, he peeked through the side of the edged wall. "Okay, let's move!" Kanji and Odina, rushed onward and continued their path. "Do you know any way how to meet up with the rest?" "Well... there isn't a proper way to communicate, we don't have signal in this Realm to contact the others by phone, but they should know that they are at the third gate, we'll have to meet somewhere and somehow... if we don't, we might have, other problems... for now, keep running, there are not many Ginkenians at the third gate... as we get further....."

"....there'll be many more enemies...." Codey was moving along in a rush while quickly leaping onto the roof, he snuck behind a chimney and let the Ginkenians run past him. "Why do they need so many Ginkenians on our butt, isn't one, skilled enough?" Codey crouched and followed the path to where Ginkenians from the town rushed, they just turned. "They don't seem to have any marks of a Member, they aren't even from a Clan... why would they sense randoms out to the hunt and scouting?" With quiet movement, Codey fixed his boomerangs on the back and quickly jumped over a rooftop and then slipped between an alley, another group of Ginkenians passed him just by so he was lucky to not be found. Codey then hurried along the way and dashed to a turn, he was doing his best to focus on the wall, but before even knowing somebody sat on the roof. "So, where'ya rushing, kid?" A voice that was spoken, made Codey confused. ("Who is he? I couldn't sense him so I just dashed out on the open, how did he... sneak past my senses...?") Thoughts made Codey to stop and face at the sitting man. "What, no hi, no hello? Man, just when I thought we could talk out for a bit..." The man dropped down onto the alley with his dark green hair and orange eyes, he seemed to have wore a comfortable clothes and even seemed to have a basic Ginken in his right arm. "The name's Ikamoto Hihara... lieutenant of the 4th clan, was sent here by orders to block you from breaching the third wall." Codey listened to Ikamoto and seemed to prepare for any trouble he was about to face. "Sent? Yes, I knew this wouldn't be a joke, but really, they've already sent a lieutenant into action? That soon?" The words were clear to Ikamoto. "Don't ask me, just following the orders, I guess the gran' thought that you might be a real struggle for the weaker nuisances.... didn't care about anything, so just wanted to find ya... don't worry, your friends all have probably been sent a lieutenant on their tails..." Ikamoto was serious while shaking his katana a bit. "So, true... they do worry about us breaching.... christ to that, should've known... but to that, I'll be honest, I probably misunderstood... at first I thought that you higher tiered Ginkenians would be sent after us only to gather intel on our skill and strength...." Codey answered, facing against his opponent. "At first, those were going to be the netrual orders, but I guess, old man changed his mind, there was something about one of your friends, the guy with white hair.. probably, Shinkaku Tim who gave struggles toward Saraki even without full recovery..." Codey blinked and thought through. "Exact meaning of this? It just says they thing we're an actual proper opponent to be feared about... " Codey who just reached for his boomerang and inserted the finger through the middle of it, began spinning his boomerang. "Guess so, but no worries, even so, the Spiritual Symbolisms aren't very simmilar, just seems that us lieutenants are still more superior than to the outsiders... but who am I to judge, basically just taking orders, so there isn't any proper way out.... if I chose the orders, I'd probably make the weakling deal with you, but no words regretted...." Explained Ikamoto and leaned onto the wall of the building. "Guess our goal won't be easily dropped by... just one thing to do, take care of our opponents.... then we move on..." Codey answered and stepped sideways. "Much and much of a pretty...." ("I'm aware that he is lieutenant and that he is hiding his Ginken's Kodachi state..., though, I don't see him be useful in a one on one combat without Kodachi, maybe he has something up his sleeves, well aware....") Codey made a stretching stomp and moved his arms forward, preparing his deadly sharp boomerangs. "Hopefully this ends quicker than a thunder..." The fight then formaly began.

Codey prepared himself for the attack in an honest fast dash. At that, Codey quickly jumped into the air and landed on top of the roof, and at that, Ikamoto quickly ran forward and swung his katana, at the swing he quickly disappeared with Vanishing Dash and instantly appeared behind Codey, at that move Codey reacted in an instant and swung his boomerang, but upon swinging and hitting the katana and boomerang, Codey quickly disappeared higher into the air and aimed his boomerang at the ground, and about such a cup Ikamoto clogged in the air and stretched his right arm out, under wind force, Codey quickly spun the boomerang and released it towards Ikamoto, with a quick bounce back, Codey quickly slipped through the air. Ikamoto, however, spat and swung his katana forward and released his purple aura, the wind and aura touched but due to the force the wind was quickly overwhelmed and the boomerang quickly returned back into the air, Codey stretched his left hand down and touched air like hard ground. The wind blew around his body and as that wind blew to the right, Codey slid through the air and quickly continued his gliding down the air, his second boomerang spinning genuinely fast as he swung down, the boomerang released wind and aimed at Ikamoto, and under this pressure, Codey was blown back by such force, quickly caught up and followed the throw. Ikamoto, on the other hand, surrounded his katana or Ginken with a purple aura again and quickly jumped into the air from the rebound. He bounced over the boomerang, which also flew into the distance. ("His reaction is extreme...) Codey quickly disappeared and the wind blew, Ikamoto felt the pressure behind his back while jumping through the air, and turned around, at which point Ikamoto disappeared and before Codey reacted, Ikamoto appeared in front of Codey's face because Codey was unable to think at such a time his body automatically reacted and disappeared from the spot. Codey landed on the roof and let out a breath and watched Ikamoto standing in the air spinning his katana which Codey wondered. "The sigh of your body, reacting on its own, it's a prove that you've been put to near death experience ...." Explained Ikamoto and leaned against the wind with his arms crossed. Codey, however, straightened up and sighed. "Well, it's called instinct .... I am not dead, am I? No, so couldn't bother dealing with your treating words ...." Codey seemed to be active in seriousness and continued to exchange looks with Ikamoto. "The dueling is not always about thinking, you should know how to move by instincts..., you're a Lieutenant and should realize that by now..." Ikamoto hurrled on to listening. "I'm well aware, but I am also aware that those 'instinct' are reaction to feeling endangered, such as death... this is why instincts rely onto themselves.... quick reaction is more or less the same thing... but just determines the speed and reaction time of a duelist... such as you..." Codey struck a sigh and took a breath. "You acting smart... really makes me uncomfortable... but, I'm proud of a gentleman such as you... couldn't ask for better tutor on how to duel... however, you did describe a saying, wrong.... instincts are not fear, sure it is a feeling of danger... but, if no man or woman hadn't had instincts, they'd be a pillow, to tell you correctly.... instinct is a seperation, your body's soul is known to be the cause of it...." Codey explained. "So, now you're trying to go to clueless ideas.... you've got some rumors and fantasy, I'll give you that.... but, in reality, instinct is just a reaction...." Ikamoto swore and explained with a standing aggression. "That's just my thinking, could potenially be incorrect.... aaaand, I'll accept your speech too, but you won't just change my mind, instantanously.... so for you to be aware... the 'lucky' instinct is absolutely necessary for a warrior, duelist to have, I'll teach you the meaning of it!" Codey swiped both his arms and sliced the air, his boomerangs were once again ready to cut... "Then if you belive so, show me what they really describe..." Codey bursted in an outraging speed blast and disappeared in a windy resolution, appearing directly behind Ikamoto. "You might wanna prepare your Kodachi!"
