293. The 'Demon God's' Fury: The 'vengeance's' prevail - Part 2

[Demon's War (Recovery of Allies): Arc 13]

Year 2003 the Light has soon appeared and the newly born girl has shined over the humanity's responsibility.

The birth that once appeared had been now unknown for the entire Human Society and her existence was yet unknown, nor was it seen.

With the born girl's full-caring personality from baby's perspective, this girl was sent onto the Planet Earth to secretly live a Human's Life, without even herself knowing what she truly was.

Now, in the year 2019 the first human coming in contact with this girl was a 16 year old Teenager boy, who had become the next Substitute-Duelist and the ally of the potential future Godess.

Through the year of their meeting, the Substitute-Duelist never understood why her existence was so important and even before he managed to understand, his promises to keep her protected was a significant shock.

Due to this girl's crooked knowledge about herself, even herself couldn't believe what a mere human had spoken, but until now, year 2020, this teenager had held his promise straight and never let go, but due to the accident of her ally falling and seeing her 'killed', the teenager gave into his inhumane actions, and the first appearence of the disordered 'Fiend' all he had seen was a revenge over this girl's 'killer'.

But then, in sudden appearence, after this teenager finally broke the seal that kept his humanity hidden, the Demon God himself appeared out of nowhere and claimed that he'll use the power of both, The Semi-Godess and the Substitute-Duelist, for himself and without wasting time, the two teenager were both held, unconscious in Demon God's palm, taken to the underworld.

But due to the Demon God not being aware, his own son, known as the Half-Demon entered the underworld and was put under a difficult responsibility...

....Katorishi Codey, his hatred toward father was seen and as much as his fear prevailed over, he never let go of his allies.

In the unexpected, this Half-Demon promised himself to bring back, both Kirashito Ayuka the Semi-Godess and Shinkaku Timoshī the Substitute-Duelist to once again see Humanity.... To achieve this goal, his journey will be hard, long and with the Demon God in front of him, he's aware that his risks of entering the underworld might ended up in fighting his own father.....

At last, Codey and Tim have met up and were read to fight the God of Demons Rez, but their path was quickly blocked by the Number '5' of the 'Most Trusted' Guards, Hayushida Yasuhiro and they were once again in need to split up.

As Codey believed that the team work to defeating Yasuhiro would be necessary, Tim with full honor declined and talked Codey into finally defeat his own father.

And the moment Tim was left behind, he now had the opportunity to face the top of the 'Most Trusted' Guards, while Codey finally came in the Throne Room and is now standing in front of the God of Demons.

But while the two of them successfully reached their goal, Ayuka herself has managed to defeat her opponent and as she thought that she was safe, the final pierce of her abdomen came in contact, and as she believed that she would never see the daylight, out of nowhere, Tsuneo arrived to her rescue.

[Underworld - Jail Cell Keeping - Friday, 1:36 p.m.]

Ayuka was held in Tsuneo's arms while he looked down at her with a calm question.

"Will you be all right?"

Ayuka then became a bit upset that once again she was needed to be rescued by someone. "I-I'll be all right. B-but please, put me down... I think I'll be able to heal this wound." As much as Tsuneo was surprised he gently put Ayuka down near the wall while she immediately bit into her sleeve and bit it off, and tied it around her pierced stomach. "A-Are you sure that you'll be able to heal it? It's a pretty lethal wound if you ask me..."

"I will. B-but who are you?" In the moment that Ayuka had been healing her wound, she faced at Tsuneo who seemed to have been a bit embarrassed. "Right. You never saw me or heard about me... I'm Tsuneo, I was a 'trainee' who was under Miss. Maya's commands. I'm sorry, but here. I believe this is yours." Tsuneo reached into his pocket and dragged out a pendant which surprised Ayuka in surprise. "Oh.... So- Y-you were the one who stole it?" Ayuka grabbed it with her left palm and moved it in front of her eyes which was somewhat emotionless.

"I'm really sorry, but I didn't intend to steal it. They were supposed to be my commands, but then I've figured that Miss. Maya was only trying to use the Pendant for herself, for something that I, myself cannot understand." Tsuneo faced down at the lava pit while seeing it squirk upward. "Heh... Don't worry about it." Ayuka finally attached the pendant to her neck as it sparkled in reflective light.

"At least now I see who the 'other' friend of Codey was supposed to be. Seems like it was you... Althought, if you're here, where's he supposed to be?" After raising her look, Tsuneo sighed. "He fought one of the 'Most Trusted' Guards but was then stopped by me. So to answer your really quickly - He's probably at the God of Demons, by now." The gentle raise of Tsuneo's arm, caused Ayuka to get softly surprised. "I see... So then Tim and he'll probably meet up. All right, let's get going, it might be necessary to help them." Ayuka used the wall to support her after standing and then faced at the corridor at the side.

"But... How? Did you really manage to heal that deep wound so quickly?" But it was confirmed. "For as long as I have 'proper' consciousness I am able to do so. But I would need to stay still at one point before healing it. That's why I couldn't have done anything before that, so again... Thank you for your help, you have my gratitutde..." But with that Tsuneo became unamused and sighed. "Y'know... You really don't need to thank me so politely - Saying thanks is everything I need... Besides, I wouldn't consider letting someone die just so simply..." Explained Tsuneo once looking at Ayuka standing up. "Yeah? Then your 'commands' were really idiotic." Once Ayuka smiled, Tsuneo became embarrassed and looked away. "About that-" "Nevermind, let's advance and give our best support for Tim and Codey." And while Ayuka added such a statement, Tsuneo has also agreed and both of them ran through the corridor.

Kylin was still being treated and her health appeared to have been decreasing in possibility of death.

From the side, the door opened. "Hey... How's Kylin?" Some of the Duelists have returned to the Guild while some of them sticked near the City's Center. "Oh... Ellie... She seems to be doing better than earlier... Her breathing is controled just fine and her heart beat seems to have slowed down... If Jun continued to treat her so efficiently, I'm sure that she'll survive." Explained Kanji, standing at the corner with his crossed arms. "That's good... But this whole time, I never managed to understand why exactly have these three received an Overflow and why none of us else did...." Wondered Ellie, as he stood near Kanji

"I'm not sure... But there's some 'rumor' going on around Guild that something triggered their activation of Bloodline Type... Not sure what their difference is, but it definetly doesn't consist us with it..." Claimed Kanji, while hoping that Kylin would survive. "Oh... Anyway- I've heard that Kaori and Nobuyuku didn't make it... right?" And for Kanji to confirm, he gave a shake. "No. Theirs was much worse than we've expected. Althought, it happened so quickly than there was nothing we could've done... How about the Center? Is everything there on point?" Kanji turned his head and looked at Ellie.

"Currently there's no trouble. Zero managed to open the Portal above 65%... But I'm slowly thinking that it's not fast enough for us to reach Underworld... Who knows, Tim and the others could already be dead while we're still trying to reach them..." Ellie exhaled on the worry. "Don't say that... Those three are strong warriors, I'm sure they aren't dead. After all, if we don't trust them at all, then what is the point of us trying to reach them? All we must consider of doing is to open the portal and then dash for it."

"Hah.... I suppose you could be right. But how can you be so trust-worthy about them? I-I understand that 'trust' is one of the 'thoughts' that could possibly cheer them on... But-" But before that, Kanji claimed away. "Have they ever disappointed us? It's just another hint to why I believe they're just fine. As I know and understand that I should worry... Don't understand me wrong, I do worry about them... But I know that there won't be any problems. Just have high hopes and trust, and we're set." Kanji explained and put Ellie into a different position. "Guess you're right..."

[Underworld - Jail Cell Keeping - Friday, 1:37 p.m.]

Codey, standing in front of a Throne Room at which was lead by The God of Demons, felt tension in his body, filled with unacceptable stress.

"So... You've finally come. My son." Rez made a smile as he was looking at his grown up son. "Yeah... I did-"

"Well. But now that you've come here. You understand that there's no going back? Once you've entered my Domain, only death is a pirority." Answered Rez while leaned onto the 'Throne's' flat as a 'heavy' greatsword was leaned up against his wall. "I understand it completely... But- I don't believe I'll be dying here... At least not yet. I've still haven't paid off my mother's debt.... What you did to her, when you did it too her... All I can see you now is, as a filthy excuse of one's life. Your birth shouldn't have never been successful. In fact, it'd be better if you and your Demonical 'Friends' would have never existed." Codey faced directly into his father's eyes. "Son... Don't you fall under a 'Demonical' category as well? Your bloodline is unimaginable to humankind, and it's fully swapped among them... You've kind of insulted yourself as well..." Spoke Rez, after facing directly into Codey. "Does it matter or does it not. I don't use these 'abilities' to erase humankind, I provide them support, not devouring their flesh or killing them. It's just something that mother taught me, and I'll obey her with every inch of my mind and body. If I'll go numb, I'll die... If I'll go wild... I'll pay the debt... If I must kill my father.... I'll consider it done." Codey explained while standing on the spot.

"Dear, Codey... You've still got so much to learn about being a 'Demon'. And the best way of doing that is by pain, whether it comes to killing your family, or killing another human." Explained Rez, making a fist on his cheek which was leaned. "I believe, 'teach' means you. I know what life is about, not you who's there to partake in lethal actions, to erase the humankind..."

Rez just laughed while standing up. "Very well then... Remember, the lessons that you'll be taught today, will be casted through your mind, and within the next few seconds... You will never be able to see your friends again." Rez stretched his right arm and twisted his wrist after wrapping it around his sword's handle.

A rampaging energy of fulfilled darkness was casted upon the area, cycling into every corner of the room and swimming around as an oceanic world.

The deep darkness that curled itself through the room caused an implanted fear, and Codey's mind stressed at his cost to survive. ("So... I guess all that training and adventures that I've come through in the past, lead all the way to here... Meeting Tim, going beserk, defeating the Turbulent Fiends, erasing the Terror Shade's existence.... Rescuing Ayuka, protecting Ayuka from losing her power, hiding her true identity... All of them were put on me through their journey, so if I die here.... All of those memories will flow away like a sunken ship... However, for that to not happen, I must kill my own father...") Codey's eyes slowly lost their blue-ish color, once reaching the lethal color, bloody red, the boomerang have been summoned and gripped onto Codey's palms.

"I promise you... I'll kill you with my mother's own weapon... To avenge her death!"

To be continued...
