[The Spiritual Core's warfare: Arc 19]

Once upon a time, on Planet Earth, a young girl was born; the story goes that her identity was never adequately clarified, but she was effectively known as the 'Holy Light.'

Her title depicted the real life of one's planet. Humankind did not know the Dimensions that had appeared alongside her birth, only of the Spirits that had been destroyed or disappeared.

The woman... The Holy Light, the heir of all the inhabitants, was not born alone. The arrival of the Demon God, whose name was Rez, caused anarchy, and humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Humans terrified him because of his recklessness and hunger for blood, and Demons started to manifest all over the Earth and The World of Zero, alongside alternate races such as The Inner Fiends, The Shades, Wraiths, and Spirits.

To combat the challenge, a new breed of people has awakened, the 'Spiritual Duelists' and 'Substitute-Duelists,' who have been dubbed the "First Army to Face Evil."

With their Legendary Weapons, the Ginken. This swarm of humans increased the world's cleanliness to the greatest extent possible, overwhelming the Demons of various grades and placing their survival at risk.

But, after several years of waiting, the 'Holy Light' gave birth to a human child, a girl of theoretically greater worth than Zero herself, but unlikely to become the next 'Holy Light,' their Goddess gave the girl to a friendly family, and since her mother needed to participate in protecting the divinity, the girl's memories were wiped.

But there is another royalty trapped within the shadows that have been concealed for millennia, even longer than the birth of a Demon...

The only one who has beaten the 'Holy Light's own is the Fiend Lord. Its lurkers will undoubtedly be wiped out, and the newfound foe will ready the battlefield...

- Hidomari City, Sunday, 1:44 pm -

Tsuneo was terrified by the creeping shadows of the red glowing eyes as Codey began to conjure a terrible wind with ferocious and pierce-filled force while ready to annihilate the menace while coming forward and supremely charging his assault.

("I shouldn't be terrified of such immense power, but the force he's releasing is difficult to contain! I'm trembling in my boots like a coward...") Tsuneo then swung his claw forward, ready to battle.

When he surged forward toward Codey's body, his claw transformed into a golden sword as he prepared to deploy his daggers. "I believe you're wrong!" With a ready launch to cut Tsuneo, Codey sprinted forward, but both of them would collide at the same time.

"I'm breaking every limb you've ever had!" Tsuneo's energy was released, but at that very instant, a spark was visible in midair, and both Gods came to a halt.

But suddenly the spark fell like a meteor, and a blue eye gleamed in the sunshine, while Codey was terrified.

The individual pounded the floor with their right arm when the earth shattered underneath Codey's legs and Tsuneo due to the speed and heft of the descent.

The earth collapsed in vast nothingness as a force went surfing through it, throwing both Codey and Tsuneo away, but that wasn't the end of it.

The entire city was trapped in the quake, and the hit immediately produced a tremendous bubble of vaporizing energy. The walls had been shattered into small bits, the water had been evaporated, and the humans who had been deceived had been melted into a liquid.

Codey's comrades were caught in it as well, and they were blown away like a flock of birds. And the tremendous explosion could be seen from space as the whole Hidomari City was blasted into nothing more than an open field with no people or structures.

While Codey was maintaining his ground and attempting to stay upright, his feet were burning from the speed with which he had been slipping.

"What in the world was that?! Is he some type of God or what? The entire city was extinguished like a fire!" The minute Codey asked, his body came to a halt on the floor with the last thud as his left and right arms erupted into blood, leaving him in excruciating pain. He was turned into blood, compelling him to experience terror.

But now that everything had calmed down and Tsuneo's right arm was rendered useless, both of them turned their attention to the source of such devastation.

When he turned to gaze at Codey, a man with black hair and blue eyes in very fine attire walked forward, carrying a rock.

"I am always surrounded by such beauty." Tsuneo was taken aback by the man's allegation as he stood in the center of the crater. "Who the heck do you think you are?" Codey was astonished by what had happened. "I'm surprised you don't know who I am. Izlios is my name." His statements horrified everyone, even both Gods. "Is it you, Izlios? What do you mean, the God of Destruction!?"

Izlios had a look at them. "That is correct. And I've been summoned as a result of such a tense struggle. Have you ever heard that Gods are forbidden from fighting one other? Even a Demon God must follow this law. They must be punished if they do not accept." Tsuneo darted forward and smacked into Izlios's palm as Izlios gently slid his right arm to the side. Even if Izlios had been looking away, Tsuneo was stunned as his body instantly began to pump up, resulting in a large blood explosion.

Codey's eyes widened as he noticed the blood splattering on the floor. "You must have the same kind of faith as this sorrowful God." Codey was well aware that the instant he came into contact with Izlios, his life would be over.

"I assumed you were slain ages ago. How can someone so nasty still be alive after hearing so many reports about your defeat?" Codey gulped, shivering on the spot. "It's not by chance that my name is Izlios. I am on an equal footing with the force of Holy Light. What about you? You must comprehend the penalty... But, but, but. If you dare to explain why you started the fight, I may consider letting you go." Izlios responded to Codey's statements.

"I did it to put an end to the mistreatment of innocent people. He'd gotten his talents a while ago and had been using them to do evil, much like Kreara." Codey claimed, his arms remained unable to be retrieved. "To begin with, it was his might. Kreara, the Goddess of the Afterlife, has been employing her powers forever, and because her tradition was nearly eaten, Tsuneo, the new God, has perpetuated it. He had done nothing wrong by wielding the authority. Other than not fighting each other, we Gods have no rules. It is God's choice whether or not to commit themselves to the destruction of this World. You must not become involved." Izlios added.

"Nonetheless. I'll overlook this one instance. You may be a Demon God, but you've done a lot to help humankind. I'd be lying if I claimed I wasn't unhappy. Recover whatever you can, but never fight another God. Otherwise, you'll be the unfortunate one the following time. Goodbye, new Demon God." Izlios vanished in an instant, and Codey's eyes trembled as the last dispersion was witnessed.

"That jerk slaughtered my prey... I'm very unhappy." Codey expressed his displeasure. However, he resisted the need to check on everyone.

- Yashikami City, Saturday,, 3:05 pm -

A new day had dawned, and a week had gone since the previous event in Hidomari City.

Eva, Kylin, and the others were injured and sent to the hospital, but Tim and the others stayed.

Codey stood there, perplexed, staring at Ayuka.

"Hey... Is there anyone who knows why he's gazing at me like that?" Ayuka puzzled as she spoke into Tim's left ear. "Um... I'm... lost..." Tim continued, rubbing the back of his neck.

"There's something odd about her physique..." Because of what he stated, everyone grew uneasy. "Are you attempting to be a pervert?" Elliot pondered, irritated. "Stop talking..." He slammed against the wall with a bang against Elliot's body.

Codey knelt in front of Ayuka, peering at her belly from every angle. "Hey! What are you up to?! That's uncomfortably too close. Codey, even for me!" Tim shouted, waving his arms up and down.

"Her belly increased by exactly one millimeter. What could it possibly be..." Codey wondered, rubbing his lips. "Erm..."

"But wait... Please don't tell me... I'll do my best to figure things out..." Codey rose to his feet and began to ponder. "What happens to a lady when she is so young? She may be unwell, she may have eaten too many sweets, or she may be doing something else. Pregnant, eh... What exactly-" Codey's eyes instantly got squiggly.

"Ayuka?!?! What exactly did you do?! You're expecting a child! Oh, Ayuka! What have you been up to? I was attempting to keep Tim available for you! How could you possibly betray both me and him? Ayuka!!!!" Codey knelt on his knees, clutching both of his heads as a light beamed down on him.

"You... Uh, don't get it..."

"Oh, Ayuka! I'm sure you need to be pregnant with a Holy Bloodline substitute! Nonetheless! You've adored Tim for so long! You've broken my trust!!!" However, she denied it once more.

"No, seriously. You don't get it. Tim is a-" Codey, on the other hand, interjected. "I know he's foolish and irritating! But, c'mon! I still have feelings for him! You cannot do this to me! I can't even hold a kid from a father I've never met?! What if he's a stalker, a domestic abuser, or a murderer? Ayuka, you need to select more carefully!" Codey began to scream and bang his head on the ground.

"That's all... Everything I had dreamed for has also come to a halt... Goodbye, I have to depart..." Codey sobbed as he began to move away with his upper torso and arms dangling. "This is a cruel world... This was the most heinous thing I'd ever seen..."

Ayuka, on the other hand, moaned, while Tim felt humiliated.

"Codey. Tim is going to be the father." She continued softly. "I don't care... You've done the wr-" Codey immediately looked around, taken aback. "What are you talking about?! Repeat; Right now!" Codey shouted, his eyes wide awake.

"I stated. Tim will be the father of my child." Tim had his hands in his pockets, ashamedly turning away, as Codey's fixation with grief faded and gave way to delight.

Codey took a step in front of Tim, bent slightly, and looked up at him with baby-doll eyes. "Tim! Tim! Tim! Timmy! Timmy! Hello! Timmy! Hello there! You're going to be the father?! Oh my goodness, my wish had come true! Timmy! I vow to you if you-" Everyone else immediately surrounded Ayuka and Tim, astonished and amused.

"Oh my goodness!"

"You two?!"

"This is basically heaven!"

"I hope it's a girl!"

"No, it better be a boy!"

Everyone was amused as Tim had perspiration streaming down his face and his mouth was shamelessly shaking.

("As usually... I wind up in the most awkward situations...")

"I'm more amazed Codey noticed that simply for her belly to grow a millimeter..." Elliot stated, his eyes wide with amazement.

"Fellas! Seriously, tho! Stop bothering me! Come on!" called Tim, trying to catch his breath.

"Timmy! Do you even realize what you've accomplished?! Your prospective bride is a true Goddess! I didn't think you'd ever embrace her love, but my goodness! I'm in awe right now! You best not disappoint us, or you'll have to deal with me, the next Demon God! Oh! And Ena, my sister!" yelled Codey, confidently, but Kanji was on Codey's back at the time.

"How about Ena? How's she doing?" As they ran down the stairs, everyone halted on the spot, wondering what Kanji was thinking.

To be continued...
