"Meaning isn't something you're born with or given, it's something you give yourself" Von
What divides the line between and wrong during a war? What are the consequences of your actions?
When you realize that war is all you have ever known it's hard to strive for something so bizarre and rare as peace, and yet this is what Von aims to achieve. Being a soulbinder gives him the chance to make a difference on a war ridden torn empire where comrades turn on each other as the tips of the war change constantly. Where no true north is found one can only forge a way ahead.
Through fire.

I really like how the author conveys the tragic and raw atmosphere of war. Great vivid descriptions, and it's interesting how Von's feelings arise.
I like your humanistic aprouch given. Taken into account that is an a fantasy story, you could mix propertly fantasy and very real human feelings. Congratulations
I don’t really like dark fantasy never took well to the angst it produces, and the how gritty and unrealistic some of the characters feel, but this was a really enjoyable read at least to me. Keep it coming.
