When you realize that war is all you have ever known it's hard to strive for something so bizarre and rare as peace, and yet this is what Von aims to achieve. Being a soulbinder gives him the chance to make a difference on a war ridden torn empire where comrades turn on each other as the tips of the war change constantly.
