Snap Magic

On the continent of Lynfeld, magic is not an uncommon thing. In fact, almost all the peoples of the land have at least a very minor grasp of magical talent. Therefore, it is not a question of if you have magical power, rather how much and how you use it. Most living beings must use chants and arrays in order to access their magical aptitude. However, there is an exception to these rules. On very rare occasions, a mage will be born that can use magic in a unique way, skipping all the steps normal people have to follow in order to use magic. These are known as gimmick mages.



This is the story of the journey of a young boy named Ajax, as he fights the inequality of a medieval society, beasts only imagined in fantasies, and the discrimination of his mixed blood and magical heritage using a gimmick of his own, the ability to use magic by simply snapping his fingers.
