"Where's the fun on that, if we could join it." Tucker was smirking in such delight with the command of their leader while cracking both of his knuckles.
Tucker's knuckles started to radiate in such heat as it was turning a deep shade of lava and then burst into flame. As for Irina, she immediately summoned her small monsters to search for certainly fallen vampires who manipulate the creatures who were attacking their peace. Then she summoned another beast to be a defender as it assist Tucker in protecting their small home while the other beasts that she already summoned, went on killing those frightened cats on the loose.
"Gwen." Slavica took notice of Gwen's shifting aura and it was making her feel confused. She couldn't read it aside from the heat of the sun radiating steaming out of her.
"Vica, after this I'm going to tell you something." Gwen naturally said as her eyes focused on something that Slavica couldn't point out.
"I'll be waiting then." She just said and readied herself as well because of the non-stop mobbing of the monsters and fallen rogues toward them.
Their roaring sounds kept echoing throughout the woods' perimeter of their cabin and Slavica's expression went very dim and cold. She was in her knight mode which she rarely used unless it was indeed needed. She raise her hand that was holding a colorless sword before she waved it down as if she was slicing something. But with that simple motion, a very strong wave cut the mobbing monsters into two portions.
"I'll take the left." Slavica said to Gwen who was still holding her ground while letting the red strings around the woods capture some of the monsters before them.
"Right is on me." Gwen nodded as she took the other side of the mobbing monsters.
"Let's make them pay for this disturbance." She chuckled that made Gwen agree.
"Indeed. I don't want to be disturbed by my training with you." She might agree but she clicked her tongue in annoyance because of what those monsters just did.
Slavica didn't manage to say something because Gwen already dashed and got back to her strings. She just sighed while shaking her head and went on focusing on the portion before her. She went into her knight mode and faced them head-on.
"So much like her." Slavica muttered to herself and went on dealing with the monsters to her side.
As for Gwen standing over her bloody strings, with one clap of her swords, the bloody strings began to vibrate in such power. It was not releasing any sound but it made the mobbed monsters to her side suddenly halted on their spot and went on roaring in pain. They were feeling the danger that suddenly radiated over Gwen's collide swords.
"Make you plead out. Let your desire out. Scream if you must. Just let them out." Gwen whispered in her calm and collected tone that made those monsters at her side went on roaring as if they were obeying her command.
The roars from those monsters were disturbing and annoying since they were roaring for power and blood. Gwen heard them clearly and squeezed them more as she made another hissing sound from the blades of her collided swords. They went on roaring in pain upon hearing them and they started to plead their deepest desire.
'SAVE MY FAMILY!
'KILL ME!'
'I DON'T WANT TO BE MANIPULATED ANYMORE!'
'SAVE US FROM THEM!'
'EVEN OUR LIFE IS IN EXCHANGE FOR THEIR FREEDOM, DO IT!'
'KILL US TO SAVE ALL OF US FROM THEIR CUNNING MANIPULATION OF DESIRES.'
'SAVE US ALL!'
Gwen heard them clearly which made Slavica and her team surprised by what they suddenly heard. They all knew that it was the pleading voices of the monsters around us but they were surprised to where it came from.
"Slavica, was it you?" Tucker suddenly called through their team's earpiece that they've been wearing whenever they were dealing with something.
"Why do you all think it was always me when I don't even use it at all?" Slavica almost rolled her eyes at what she just heard from Tucker.
"It's Gwen then." Irina dropped her guess.
"She's amazing." Yui reacted with such excite amusement in her tone.
"And She's growing fast than we anticipated." Irina added that made Slavica smirk while she was slashing any monsters who were trying on killing her.
"She'll keep growing in the field." Slavica agreed.
"Enhancer." Tucker muttered that everyone could hear.
"Indeed, a remarkable enhancer we're going to ever team up with." Slavica nodded in agreement to that comment.
"And she's your mate." Yui teased which made Slavica grin even more while she released a heavy blow that killed ten monsters and collided with her sword.
As they were having their conversation, something happened to Gwen's side. The light that was radiating over her swords suddenly vanished and the blood strings stopped ringing. Then those monsters or fallen rogues went back on their feet and were about to kill her but no. Gwen leaned and with one push from her feet, she vanished and like lightning speed, only a dash of electrical wave sparked when she collided with the monsters' bodies. She swiftly moved as if she was dodging them but she was not. She used her swords and made a slight slash against their bodies but they weren't being cut. They were just stunned on their ground and couldn't anticipate what just happened. They all looked Gwen's way when she balanced herself over her bloody strings.
"Don't wander around her anymore and just save your family." Gwen naturally said but her voice echoed through the monsters in a different matter. They all felt like something was suddenly being lifted from their chest and they were all feeling light.
"Irina, give them what your minions gathered and helped them take their families back to them." Gwen directly whispered to Irina's hearing who jolted but nodded.
'Noted. I'll let my minions guide them there.'
"Now leave and do what you have to do. Save your family." Gwen smiled genuinely at them which made the monsters feel confused.
"Thank you, lady. We won't forget the help you brought to us." One of the monsters spoke directly as the lightness that they were feeling made them bow respectfully at her and left.
The portion over Gwen's side left the woods and never come back but when Gwen looked over Slavica's way, she clicked her tongue. She was annoyed because Slavica was being mobbed non-stop.
"Why can't they just stop? It's annoying." Gwen muttered to herself and with her emotions starting to radiate in her once again, her swords shifted the faint glow into the fearsome sunlight.
As Gwen headed to Slavica's side, she made her sword glow and radiate in more power, and with every swing that she did, the monsters were being hit and the blow was too intense to make the ground to be dug up or the other monsters surrounding them were being blown away. But it was not making them stop what they were being manipulated to. They went on attacking her.
"I'm getting tired of this mob." Slavica sighed as she groaned in annoyance at the mobbing monsters that were being manipulated into attacking their cabin.
She kept swinging her swords with her knight skills that her body still could recall until she noticed a sudden quick movement coming from Gwen appearing before her. Gwen easily strikes five monsters in one smooth movement. Monsters or fallen rogues alike were stunned a little over their ground since Gwen moved fast as if she was no longer a human.
"Can I join?" Gwen asked while standing in front of Slavica who just sighed but she was smirking at her sudden appearance of hers.
"Even if I don't want you to, you still will." Slavica sighed as she pointed out what Gwen's personality has whenever it was about her training and curiosity.
"I'll just consider this as my training." She just said since she knew to herself that Slavica was just stating the truth and there was no hiding from it anyway.
"Fine. Go and train yourself. I'll just assist you." Slavica ushered her to do what she must do for her to grow and excel in her chosen life. She could see the determination in Gwen's aura.
"She finally had chosen." Slavica muttered to herself as she watched Gwen turn her swords backward and position herself like an assassin. She crossed her arms over her chest and let the blades from her swords radiate in such brightness before fading.
"Let's dance." Slavica smirked when she heard those words from Gwen before vanishing in front of her.
As Gwen showed her growing skills with her two swords in hand, she managed to showcase her flexibility and acrobatic stunts that Slavica has never seen in her before. Slavica felt the heat radiating over her chest and she knew that she was proud of her progress. She smirked but at the same time, she didn't want to lose to what Gwen was showcasing at the moment in her training. She need to blow up some streams too since their training was being interrupted.
"I'll cross swords with her soon." Slavica thought to herself and began doing great with her dodging since there were non-stop charges hitting her way.
Slavica's back flips to dodge the swing of claws heading her neck and let her feet do its kick to make the monster stun backward a little. By getting to her feet, she blocked the second attack with the use of her sword. Then made a slicing motion to cut the other monsters heading her way. The impact of the contact was too much heavy which created a very powerful wave that could blow anyone in the way.
"Having fun, boss?" Tucker asked through their earpiece which made Slavica sigh as she rolled her eyes from hearing it. He sounded like he was teasing her that's why Slavica reacted like that.
"Focus on your task. My wrath was still in control so don't even make me start activating it on you, Tucker." Slavica sounded irritated that made Tucker chuckle.
"Okay, spare me, boss. We're already okay over here." Tucker dismissed their conversation until Irina butted in.
"Something was odd here, they were not attacking us for some reason." Irina commented that caught Slavica's attention a little bit. But she still manages to let her sword hit another wave of monsters in the way.
"They were indeed after Gwen." Yui concluded that made Slavica glance over Gwen's spot and she was only seeing how great Gwen was doing until something clicked in her mind.
Slavica noticed something but couldn't act on it just yet because of the opponents before her. She groaned and pierced her sword on the ground and decided to catch their attacks with her bare hands. She faced them in close combat which made her use the power coming from her sword and made those monsters charging at her be blown away again.
"I'm not just the sheath of the sword. I'm the bringer of glory." Slavica whispered to herself as she began releasing a powerful radiation that made a very powerful wave that wash away the monsters charging at her. She instantly kills them with that radiating wave coming out from her entire body.
As Slavica was releasing her power on dealing with what was before her, Gwen almost lost her grip on her swords but no. Just almost. Gwen just waken up the warrior residing with her blood and held the swords tightly before swinging them back to the monsters surrounding her. With her nice combat reflexes, she easily dodged another set of attacks that came out of nowhere.
"They're here." Gwen smirked to herself and changed her gear as she top up her skills even more. She managed to move quicker than usual.
As Gwen began shifting her gear to another, things were getting intense that every monster that was remaining around her stopped dealing with her. They were all badly wounded and almost died on facing her but that was not the thing that made them stop killing her. Four fallen vampires appeared around her and they were fighting her head-on. Their exchange of blows was leaving strong waves that echoed throughout the woods.
"Like I thought. They were here." Slavica muttered that made her team go into their serious-deadly game face and activated their powers that were lurking around their cabin's perimeter.
Slavica was about to get into the game that they were sending to Gwen but she was being stopped by Gwen's bloody strings. It confused her but when she looked over at Gwen, she was not the Gwen that she had saved. There was indeed something in her and it was awakening even more.
"The bloody flame was not showing up or the glow of her two swords was not glowing that much than earlier…confusing change…what's going on with her?" Slavica wondered as she suddenly felt a little bit of confusion about what was happening to her.
Then Gwen glanced at her way before her eyes turned white and it was radiating that made the fallen vampires around her hiss and charge at her. They were just being provoked and Gwen suddenly vanished to her spot and only appeared in front of the first fallen vampire before she easily stabbed her two swords over its body and let the energy from her two swords' spread inside like wildfire.
"Burn to ash." Gwen muttered and it was the thing that happened to the first fallen vampire who attacked her. It burned to a crisp before vanishing into very thin ashes and flew along the wind gushing throughout the entire woods.
"Who's next?" Gwen turned her attention to the three remaining fallen vampires who hissed and went after her in anger.
