CHAPTER 33 - TRAITOR

The night had passed by and all of them got a good night's sleep. They slept really soundly. It only showed how exhausted they were after the fight they had.

"That was a great feeling! I think I haven't done it for a while. I really hate this island for stressing me up," Friean mumbled.

"Really? Among us, it's you who always sleep well, Friean. They always look after you," Meta pointed to all of the boys.

Friean shyly smiled, "Is that so? My bad, Meta. I just missed being in our palace. No disturbance, everything was prepared. All I have to do is what I want. No orders because I am the one giving it. I also miss my Mommy and Daddy. I wonder what are they doing while I am away," Friean's eyes teared up.

Unexpectedly, Meta hugged her, "Don't be too sad. We will end this sooner so we can go back to what we are before. This island removed all the happiness since our childhood. But based on what I've heard from you, your parents didn't train you. Unlike us, who suffered just to make sure that we will be ready for this invitation."

Friean hugged her back, "I am really sad that those things happened to most of you. Honestly, I am a bit jealous that my parents didn't train me because look at me now, I have nothing to do to help you guys. It really makes me question myself why do I have to go here if I will just be a burden to my brother and to all of who treats me like a sister too?"

"Don't think like that. We are happy to protect and see you trying your best to help and be brave. This is a new world for all of us, especially you who have been sheltered so much. Just, be brave, and don't be hard-headed. We will be safe and we will be able to come home," Meta said as she patted Friean's shoulder.

Roi was trying to scan the place. He walks around hoping to find a clue or whatever to know what will happen next. He was about to stop when he saw a piece of yellow-colored paper that was inserted in the space on the wall.

"What is this?" he opened it and read, "That Random Attack Is a Threat Once Revealed," Roi was puzzled when he came to the other members.

"I found a note, it says here, That Random Attack Is a Threat Once Revealed, I don't understand what it means. It was not a threat, it was a challenge for me and it was planned," Roi said.

Ace asked for the note. He looked carefully and noticed that "The uppercase letters," he pointed it one by one, "When you'll combine it all, it is TRAITOR," All of them were shocked but Ace was fuming mad. He can get a hold of his anger, "We treated each other like you said, as friends or for some as a family. How come you can do this to us?"

Rex stands up, "Spill it out. Who is this traitor? We can let you pass this one if you'll turn yourself in now, please."

No one dares to speak.

"Where is David?" Mave asked.

"I don't know either. I didn't see him leave," Tosh answered.

They heard strong winds are approaching. They hurriedly came out and saw that it was about to hit David who was sleeping under the tree.

Hoax immediately moved and pulled David out of the place. Luckily, they were able to get away with that because the big tree fell down after the wind hit it.

"Lady Samson is here," David said the moment he opened his eyes.

"How did you know?" Friean asked.

"It was her who can only do that kind of magic," David answered.

Lady Samson suddenly came out from nowhere.

She was furiously looking at Ace's eyes, "You are too intelligent to easily decode the message the traitor himself wants to convey."

"I was born to be like that. To be mindful and aware of the tactics that were barely handed to you. Not all cases are complicated. You can also look at it in its simplest way as possible," Ace answered with a smirk.

"So you are trying to tear us apart by assigning, or should I say enchanting someone to turn his back on us? How poor of you. I pity you," Friean talked boldly. Which was commended by Meta by holding her hand.

"Wow!" Lady Samson acted surprised seeing them holding hands, "The cold-hearted princess turned warm? Is this for real?"

"This is something I can be proud of. Building a family with them. They helped me to melt the ice on my heart that was hardened by you. so I can't let go of this one," Meta glared at Lady Samson and focused really hard.

Lady Samson screamed in pain, the boys managed to send Friean on there back to ensure her safety.

"I will never let you hurt one of us again!" Meta shouted.

All of them can see that Lady Samson is in pain when she suddenly laughed and get back to her posture without any trace of being hurt, "Do you think I was that too easy?" she moved her hand and attacked David.

David screamed because of what Lady Samson did. Tosh stand in front of her and said, "Don't attack those who are not good at battling. Attack those who were experienced."

Lady Samson scoffed, "Didn't I told you that you should prepare yourselves for all of these? That's why I locked you inside that room. To make yourself strong and be able to fight!"

"Or is it to make us strong so you can have a fun time fighting with us? To have a worthy opponent?" Ace asked.

"You're talking too much General. And it annoys me. Step back before it's too late," Lady Samson warned Ace.

She was about to attack again but to her surprise, Hoax was holding her hand, "That's a bad thing to do," and smiled.
