Chapter 24

Yoongi's POV

One month later

It's been months and I still haven't figured out where the leak in my company is. Not only that but not another shipment has gone missing or been seized. That concerns me more. For the better part of a year, I have had at least one shipment a month stolen or seized by the authorities. Only a few people outside of my brother's know about my new shipping schedule and the changes made to it.

I begin going through some files on my desk. I notice that these files were prepared by someone different every time. Not one file was prepared by the same person. Whoever is signing the forms is alternating between four people, including Kelis. Since Kelis was abducted she hasn't been coming up here, but she is still signing forms. I pull up some files on my computer and review the employment records and timecards for the people signing the forms.

After looking into the timecards, I notice some things not adding up. I need to compare signatures for all these people, except Kelis I know that one is fraudulent. Looking up and notice it's almost lunchtime. I really need to eat so I can figure out some things. Like how this went on for so long and why no one noticed before now. A notification comes across my screen letting me know that one of my brothers is here. Good, I need to bounce this information off someone else.

Namjoon walks in smiling and takes a seat across the desk from me. "Hey Yoongi, what's up." Grabbing up some files from my desk and putting them into my briefcase. "What brings you here, Joon?" He looks at me with his stupid fake offended look on his face. "Damn since when do I need a reason to see my brother?" Then looking down I load my laptop into my briefcase and grab my cell phone.

"Never," I say while smiling. "I even have a job for you." He frowns as we head out of my office and past my new secretary. "I only came for food and maybe a little conversation. I have enough work at work." I give my best impersonation of my mother's stern look and hold a finger to my mouth and he stopped talking.

The car ride to my house was quiet and boring as hell. I swatted Joon's hand a few times to keep him from answering his phone. Once we made it to my house, we placed our stuff down in my office and I close the door.

"Just wait here. Don't say or do anything until I get back." He nods his head even though his eyes say he thinks I am crazy. Leaving my office I quickly go check on my wife. I need to turn the cell/internet blocker on and if she is awake, she will kill me. Kelis is pregnant and moody as hell.

Leaving her a note on her bedside table to call me when she gets up. I go back into my office and turn on the device. I pull my laptop out and set it up. The first thing it does is glitch, freeze, and shut off. My phone does too, but not Joon's at least not right away.

Joon immediately snatches up my phone and begins to take it apart. He holds up something that is about the size of a micro-sd card. Holding it up he says. "What the fuck? How the hell do you keep getting bugged?!?!" Holding it up he looks at it. It looks like a piece of gold foil and was placed on top of my sd card. "I can backtrace this but legally on the government can use this kind of chip." Grabbing my laptop and holding it up in the air turning it around at different angles. "I bet you have one in here too."

He places the chip into a metal envelope-looking thing. He then began to take apart my laptop. While he did that I began to explain what I found. "I have found that I have a person in my company forging signatures. I notice that this person signs every time a shipment is seized or stolen." He looked up quickly before he went back to what he was doing. "What makes you think it's the same person?"

"Mostly the writing is the same. The way they write their 'k' and 's' is very unique. So we need to do a covert sweep of all the companies and see if we find any bugs or forgeries."

Holding up a slightly larger version of what he pulled out of my phone and examining it. "Sounds like a good idea. It appears that you have either the government or a person with a lot of money watching you. These bugs are not cheap. Look how thin they are." I nod agreeing with Joon. There is a soft knock on the office door. I walk over and open the door for Kelis.

"Are there bugs in the house? You only turn that thing on when you think there might bugs." She nervously walks into the office with her hand on her growing belly. She is almost seven months now. She even waddles a little when she walks. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Not that I would tell her that, she is so sensitive.

Pulling her into my lap, placing my hand on her belly, and kissing her forehead. I do my best to assure her we are ok. "Not here my sweet Angel. I found some in my office supplies. I will have Joon check the house if it will make you feel safer."

Her smile was so bright as she looked over to Joon. "It really would make me feel better. Do you mind Joon?" He kisses her on the cheek and then placed his hand on her belly. "Anything for you and my nephews." Then he whispered something to her belly.

He is laying it on extra thick and getting on my nerves. Our kids will be the first of a new generation, we are all extra with her these days. Last week Kelis was upset because McDonald's ran out of ice cream. Jin and his wife Sierra went to four other locations to find her the strawberry sundae she wanted. The next day Jimin and Tae went to the closest location and demanded that they keep their equipment working right. They threatened to blow the damn store up.

I have never been more embarrassed in my life. When we went in after that incident, they gave Kelis a free sundae. Even apologized for the equipment not working and gave her a gift card that should see her through the rest of her pregnancy. If they act like this over Kelis not getting a sundae these boys are going to be rotten.

"Yoongi, are we still going to look for the stuff for the nursey today?"

She is on bed rest. I promised to sit with her and order as much online as we can and have it delivered. She can't walk for long periods anymore without getting winded and tired, but she will not sit still until the nursery is set up.

"As soon as Joon is finished with the sweep. I can get some snacks and we will sit in the bed and I'll rub your feet while we shop. How about that Love?" Nodding while she attempts to get up out of my lap. She ends up waving Joon over to help her up. "Can we have kimchi fried rice, fried chicken, and a strawberry sundae?" She looks so happy I can't say no, even though I know her doctor is going to have fit.

"Well, I will see you two later. Make sure you call me when you are ready to put the monitors into the nursery. I would prefer to do it before Tae and Kookie paint. Kelis nods at him and lets him know they will be there Sunday. He leaves and promises to come back on Saturday.

While she says her goodbyes to Joon I call Jin and see about the food she wants. Recently Jin's kitchen is her favorite place to order from. I spend more money buying food for his home than I do mine. I would starve if Jin didn't cook because my wife is picky. I can cook but apparently not what she wants to eat. Sierra doesn't seem to mind and normally brings it to her. As much as she loves Korean food, she can't take the spicy food right now. Only Jin seems to make an edible spice-free version of her favorite foods.

As soon as I finish requesting food from Jin. I turn the blocker off and get my wife comfortable on the couch. Since she is refusing to get in the bed this early in the day. I set up a tray for her food next to the couch and another in front of me so she can see the screen.

We have decided to paint the boy's room a soft grey. Kelis wants it to be soothing and comforting and fun for them in their room. She decides she wants trees and animals painted on the wall. Tae and Kookie have volunteered to paint the room for her. They are very good at that kind of stuff.

We already have a matching set of white dressers for their little clothes. We finally found crib bedding that she liked. It is teal, grass green, white, orange, and gray, with elephants. We bought the matching curtains in teal, white and orange. We even bought monkey throw pillows. I didn't even know babies needed pillows of any kind. We got lamps, a hamper, a lazy boy rocking chair, and a changing table.

We discussed what kind of diapers she wanted to order. We had nothing because we chose not to have a baby shower. Now Kelis is panicking because she wants everything to be set up before our sons arrive. We spent the next few hours ordering a double stroller, a regular monitor for travel purposes, bottles, diapers, shoes, clothes, diaper bags, and toys. These boys are set for the first year of life I swear.

Kelis wanted a play pen but I think we can wait until they get a bit older because my parents have a whole room set up already. We have a travel monitor and Namjoon is hard-wiring a monitor with speakers and cameras in the house.

Once I have paid for everything and she is satisfied that the boys will be comfortable, I put away the laptop. I clear away and do the dishes from our snack, then sit down and rub her feet.

"The boys are very active tonight and kickboxing my bladder. Can you help me?" Chuckling I lean down and kiss her belly and ask the boys to be nice to their mommy and remind them that they are going to need her.

Then I help her get up and waddle into the bathroom, doing my best not to laugh. I didn't do such a good job of being quiet. "I swear to God if you are laughing at me waddling the twins will be as old as you before you bust another nut." Damn, she is testy today. "You are the sexiest woman in the world and your waddle is adorable. I love it almost as much as I love you." I quickly kiss her before she goes into the bathroom. "Great save," she says as she walks into the restroom. A minute or so later she is cursing my name again.

She does it every time she makes a trip to the bathroom and nothing comes out. This time I really do laugh. We have decided to name our son's when we meet them. I think it is a good idea because right now all the names we have chosen kind of suck. I help her out of the bathroom and into the bed. I prop her up on some pillows and lay down by her belly and talk to my boys. She laughs as I explain that they need to stay away from her bladder if we are going to be happy. I get kicked for my efforts, but I kiss the two spots anyway.

"Love you really need to stay off your feet and in the bed more. I don't want you to go into labor too soon." She pouts at me and rolls her eyes. "Sitting in bed all day is boring. There is nothing to do. I am too big to be comfortable. I do not want to stay in bed." Rubbing her feet I chuckle and kiss her pout.

"We can have sex," I say with a smile. "Your doctor said it would be fine in moderation. And I will get you another body pillow. That might make it more comfortable for you." Of course, she declined the extra pillow. We watched the first 48 and she talked to me about leaving work at the end of the week to be with her until the babies are born.

The weekend came and the family came together to set up the nursery.
