"Nothing is ever certain." - Alice Sebold

Yellow Sunrays started to come through the window and through the dark curtain. The blinds should've hindered the rays to reach us, but they were too light and the blinds weren't closed enough. They were shining on my skin, my hair and my eyes, hindering me from drowning off into a pleasant dream. I awoke in soft sheets, the sunbeams tickling me in through the blinds. My eyes were still shut as I absorbed the warmth of the sunlight before l opened them fully and let my blue eyes watch the game of nature. The sun had rose behind the window and above the city, the sky dipped into more shades of yellow, orange and red I knew. It seemed unreal to me, but it was there. Taylor had been right; life wasa wonder of its own.
