After the door was swung open, we were inside of a wide hall, that was only enlightened by a somewhat cerise light that sparkled over the heads of hundreds of guests. The paintwork on the walls were thin and tiny almost, but shined brightly in pretty colors. Music had filled our ears, but I could not identify where it was coming from. The house was constructed far more ordinary than any of the houses I knew. The windows were the large ones that were so fashionable now, the one's Taylor's father's house had as well. It had a different charm than the modern houses Taylors and my parents owned, but somewhat differed from the old-world charm of Sofia's house as well – it was unique, owning a kind of secretive sense by itself that I had never found in any other.
