28. First Kiss!!

After Lara got hospitalized, the brothers didn't allow her to live alone and took her to their mansion. She had no other choice but to listen to them.

The Banks's mansion was also just like that of the Page's. Beautiful, huge, luxurious,….. ugghh I have run out of words. In short, like a palace.

Inside the brothers started bickering about next to whose room Lara should stay. Both of them wanted her close to them. Finally they agreed to let her take the room in between theirs.

All the maids and servants were shocked when they saw their masters bring in a young woman. They were even more shocked looking at how childishly the brothers were bantering and that Mark and Sara were smiling.

When Mark said they she was his granddaughter, they were shocked. They quickly welcomed their young miss in and prepared a room for her.

The brothers cancelled all their meetings for that day and spent time with her making her cry with laughter.

She was feeling extremely happy seeing the way her brothers treated her. Even Sara would join in the fun.

She returned to the office the next day.

She greeted everybody and sat on her seat. The proposal was ready.

She picked it up and went and stood near the waiting lounge which was next to Liam's office. She was just casually standing and going through it once again.

Liam entered with Miles and Levy.

Soon she heard a series of ' Good morning boss's and assumed he had arrived.

She looked up and started wishing," Good morning bo.. whoa".

Liam was surprised when he saw her standing there.' She just got out of hospital and is back to work already?', he thought while advancing towards her. He decided to send her home.

When he reached near her, his legs tripped on the end of the carpet that was laid on the lounge area and he lost his balance. He stumbled fell on top of Lara, who fell into the couch. Their faces fell on each other and his lips landed on hers.

Both their eyes widened. Rather than lipstick, he felt like he was tasting strawberry. Lara quickly turned her face to the side. So now his lips were on her cheek. He quickly pulled himself up and helped her up.

" I am extremely sorry Lara. It was an..", before he could complete she interrupted him.

" It is okay boss.", she said while straightening her clothes. The tip of her ears were slightly red. She immediately bent down and started picking up the scattered files. Liam also lent her a hand.

Jaws of the others who witnessed the scene dropped 10 storeys below. They were shocked when they saw their lips meet. They were staring at both of them. They could only recover when they saw them crouching and picking up the papers. They quickly went and started helping them.

Lara excused herself for a minute and went to the washroom. She took a deep breath trying to calm her heart that was running like a horse.

It was her first kiss. While looking at the mirror, her eyes unconsciously went towards her lips. She remembered the brief moment when she saw his face close to hers.

' Girl pull yourself together. It was just an accident.', she started chanting this in her mind.

She then slightly tapped water on her face and tidied her clothes and stepped out. She then went to his office as though nothing happened. She was way too skilled in hiding her emotions.

Liam walked into his office in a daze. Miles started updating on some important work. But when he didn't receive any reply, he looked up. The sight before him baffled him.

Liam was in a complete daze. His hands unconsciously touched his lips.' Her lips were so soft and sweet. How will it taste like...…', his imagination was running wild. His face started getting flushed.

" Bro don't tell me you are having an x rated day dream?", he asked in a playful voice.

Liam snapped out of his daze and cleared his throat. He then said," Stop blabbering nonsense and continue".

' Come on brother, this is not nonsense. I really need to report this to aunt and sis. Hmm…..', Miles thought.

The rest of the day continued. Lara hid her awkwardness very well, so no one talked about it.

When the news of Liam and Lara's accidental kiss reached Emily and Lina they were both surprised and delighted. They at once decided that they would start playing cupid for both of them.
