      Fariya!! Fariya!! Where has that stupid girl gone to now muttered James to himself. She will never be when someone needs her.

     I am here sir said Fariya

       Where have you been? Didn't you hear your name or is your ear not working anymore?, Asked James

      I am sorry sir, what do you want me to do for you sir

       I want you to clean my room, wash my toilet and clean my shoes

      Okay sir, I will just finish what am doing outside and do all the chores you assigned me.

         You stupid daughter of the devil, am asking you to do it now not later

  Okay sir she said as she left

       One more thing, I would be away for two days on a business trip, clean the house and keep the house safe.

    Okay sir, safe journey ;was Fariya's reply

TWO DAYS LATER

      The phone was ringing and Fariya went to pick it up.

I want you to prepare pounded yam with egusi soup for me, I am on my way home, James said over the phone.

       Okay sir replied Fariya as he ended the call.

           When she got to the kitchen, she discovers that there was no no egusi left . She don't have any money on her , so she decided to cook vegetable soup instead.

           After cooking, she went to re- clean James bedroom, by the time she was through with all that he had arrived home.

    After taking his bath, he went downstairs for his food. Fariya served him, while serving him, she told him that there was no egusi in the kitchen and she had no money to buy some so she cooked vegetable soup.

      James flared up, why do you think you are here? No, tell me I told you to cook egusi doe me and you bring this nonsense and tell me to eat it. You stupid she goat.

                  Fariya in a teary voice apologized to him but before she finished apologizing, he started beating her mercilessly. She couldn't do anything but cry and yell for help but there was no one to help because Jacob had the day before.

        After beating her, he sent her out of the house. She had nowhere to go to so she went to Antra.

        When Antra saw her, she was Soo shocked that she couldn't speak for some minutes. When she finally spoke up, she asked are you just gonna let this go? You won't go to report in the police station?

        Which money would I use to get a lawyer? I don't have more than ten naira on me right now

       What you are trying to tell me is that he sent you out without paying you anything? This is unbelievable; Antra exclaimed. Just enter let me treat your wounds.

    Careful that hurts; Fariya said.

       Maybe it wouldn't hurt a lot if you had just used pestel to break the bastard's head; Antra snapped

       Okay now, that's it , all done . I will just go cook for my boss Antra said standing up

          I will just help you since I have nothing doing Fariya said standing up too

           One day you are surely going to kill yourself ;Antra told her

      After cooking,they were chatting when Antra's boss came in.

      Welcome sir, hope you had a nice day sir

       Yes Antra, I had nice day thank you ;her boss replied

     Ummm sir, this is my friend Fariya,she lost her job,so she came to put up with me for some time before she gets another job

       No problem, she can stay until she finds another job; Ben as that is the name of Antra's boss said smiling

     Thank you sir said Antra and Fariya in unison

        Alright then, I will just go upstairs to change and before I come downstairs, please serve my food, I am famished said Ben before he went upstairs.

      Okay sir Antra replied happily

       Your boss is nice, I wish my boss had been like him; Fariya commented.

         He is indeed very kind and please Fariya don't talk about that useless man in front of me, I mean how can a man be Soo heartless as to beat a woman Soo much, he's Soo stupid I wish I could strangle him right now but I don't want to spend the rest of my life in jail because of one useless idiot; Antra said already pissed off.
