Fariya!!Fariya!! Where are you? Antra called out with joy.
Fariya emerged from the building while calling why are you yelling my name Soo much, do you want everyone to know my name?
It wouldn't be that bad if they knew your name right? Antra answered teasingly
Alright stop playing, what is it, why are you yelling my name, Farita asked curiously.
As I was coming from the market, hmmmm, I will just go and drink water first, Antra said cutting herself short in order to pull my leg.
Please get straight to the point, don't keep me waiting, Fariya said starting to get impatient
Haha, won't I drink water again, let me drink water first then I will continue, Antra said trying to make me anxious.
Please tell me what he told you, don't keep me waiting, Fariya said as her impatience continued to grow.
Alright....., I will tell you, you got a job!!!! Antra said with excitement
You said I got a job!! Fariya asked disbelieving what she heard
Of course, my boss called me on my way coming back home from the market, he said when he was aware that you had no job, he called many people to know if they needed a housemaid, but no one needed a housemaid, Soo he kept silent about silent about everything but today a woman said she needed a nanny who would help her look after her one year old daughter, he then asked me if you can do the and I told him you can do almost everything so he told me to tell you to get your things ready because you would start work next tomorrow, Antra explained to her
So you mean I now have a job? Fariya asked happily

Fariya, he said you should hurry up or he is going to leave you behind, Antra was telling her friend.
Give me one minute and I would be through. Five minutes later, Fariya was waving giving good bye to her friend as the car drove off.
Fariya entered the building, it was a very big house there were seven cars outside, there was a lawn by the side of the and just by the fence were pretty flowers which were swaying slowly due to the breeze that it looked as if it were dancing.
The front of the house was made mostly of glass with flower pots just by each side of the door.
After ringing the doorbell three times, the door was finally opened. The lady in front of Fariya was skimpily dressed with bum shorts, a low necked singlet that showed off her cleavage. Just looking at the woman made Fariya think she was in the wrong house.
Are you Fariya? The woman asked.
Yes I am ma'am, Fariya replied still doubting if she was in the right house.
Alright , come on in, the woman said breaking into her thoughts.
She was led into a sitting room, there were four other women there, each of them dressed as if they are undressed.
Girls, the woman called out. This is my magpie's nanny and her name is Fariya, The woman said introducing Fariya to her friends.
She then turned to Fariya and said , my Neil and this are my friends Natalie, Lucille and keelin. And yes, I would introduce you to my daughter, come with me she is upstairs.
Fariya was brought into a room painted pink and filled with toys. There is a baby dresser and a wardrobe. The bedwas also laid with a pink bedsheet, the bed is a Barbie themed one. On the bed was a one year old baby, she was sleeping peacefully.
Neil turned to her and said this is my daughter Maggie but everyone calls her magpie because she chatters alot, so don't be surprised if you call her Maggie and she doesn't answer you because I don't think she even knows her name is Maggie, I will be going downstairs now and please take care of her .
With that, she left the room leaving Fariya and the sleeping baby.
Pu Pu Pu Cha Cha Cha ka cha, magpie chattered
Magpie please stop chattering Fariya said exasperated, she was trying hard not to stuff something into her mouth so as to stop her from chattering Soo much. But magpie wouldn't listen. Fariya had to just continue folding Maggie's cloth in silence,
For a while, she noticed that Maggie is quiet. She turned to see what she was doing, only to see that she was trying to put her finger into a socket.
Maggie!! Fariya yelled. Stop that but she wouldn't listen. Fariya went to pick her from there, she sat her down in her baby's seat where she wouldn't be able to go anywhere, then she went to take her seat.
Mummy, magpie suddenly said.
Fariya looked at her sadly then said, mummy went out but she would soon be back.
Ever since she came to this house a week ago, Neil barely stayed for one full day, either she comes back home drunk, or she comes back with one of her numerous boyfriends. She hardly spend time with her child and Fariya wondered what type of a woman she is that the don't care if her daughter had eaten or not.
Please eat your food, Fariya said trying to make Maggie eat her food .
Mummy, Maggie repeated for the third time since when she started feeding her.
Alright, I will get mummy when you finish eating, Fariya said trying to make her eat but she still turned her head away, so Fariya had no choice but to go call Neil to come feed her daughter.
She went to Neil's room but couldn't find her there so she went downstairs to check for her there. She found her there preparing to go out .
Good morning ma, she greeted her.
How are you Fariya and how is magpie? Neil asked with impatience written all over her.
We are fine ma
What do you want, I am already late Neil said
Hmm ma Maggie, she wants you to come feed her, she's refusing to eat, Fariya explained.
I can't feed her, I am running late. Just try to feed her any how you can, Neil said as she stepped out of the house.
Fariya was surprised at the way she behaved, she had expected her to drop all her appointments and made sure her child was okay before she left but instead of that, she told her to feed her child any how she can . She felt sorry for Maggie, she had a mother she loves, but her mother don't card a whim about her, sometimes she wonders if Neil's got a heart.
She went back to magpie and somehow got her to eat.
