All's Going Well

"Spencer, slow down the car!"

Chester is in the passenger seat freaking out as I press down on the gas pedal.

"What's the problem, Chester? Can't take a little speed," I mock him. I do a couple of swerves to scare him some more.

"Spencer, your going to get us killed." He's panicking and holding on tight to his seatbelt. When we get to the school parking lot, I park with as much force as I can, but not too much to where I'll break my neck.

"You're going to be the death of me, Sparrow." Chester's trying to catch his breath after the chaotic drive to school.

"That's pay back for when you did the same to me, but thank you for letting me drive your car." I kiss him on the cheek and try to run out of the car, but he pulls me in with the strength of his arms.

"Your not getting away that easily," he says and starts tickling my sides.

"STOP, CHESTER!" I start laughing out of control. I feel like my face is turning blue from lack of oxygen. Chester notices and stops, so that I'm able to catch my breath.

"I'll forgive you for your reckless driving if you give me a kiss." He puckers his lips, waiting for a kiss. I give in and give him a quick peek on the cheek instead.

His face turns into a look of disappointment and I chuckle. When I least expect it, he grabs my face and presses his lips onto mine. I kiss him back and it turns into a heated make out session.

Before it can get far, we hear a knocking on the car window. We both jump back in surprise and when I look up, I can see Alexandra and Hope mocking our kisses. They both were making kissy faces.

"Get out the car," Sky screams from the other window on the opposite side of the car. Chester and I break apart and exit the car.

"Had fun," Alexandra teases and I send her a glare as I blush.

"You have your first game today, right," Chester asks me, ignoring the girls.

"Yeah." Today is the girls flag football team's first game of the season. We've been practicing hard and we'll see if it pays off today when we play against Braxton High. I really believe in my team and I believe we can make it far. Maybe even to states.

"I'll be there," He tells me with his charming smirk and kisses my cheek. "I'll see you later." He runs off to Daniel who's entering the school. He leaves me to deal with the girls by myself.

"So, I see you guys have gotten cozy lately," Hope says, a grin across her face.

"Yeah. It's been a couple of weeks now since your first date. Are you guys going to make it official," Alex asks.

"I'm pretty sure they're already official and they've already done the deed based on how they were kissing in that car," Sky says and the others wait for my answer.

"Neither, actually," I tell them and they gasp in shock.

"What's so surprising? We're taking things slow and there's nothing wrong with that, right?" I was pretty confident in my relationship with Chester, but the way they reacted to us not being official yet and the fact that my past relationships weren't the best, mixes doubt into my head.

"N- no. No, there's nothing wrong with it," Hope hesitates and smiles nervously.

"I've just never heard of Chester ever taking things slow in a relationship," Sky says and Alexandra sends her a glare.

"Why would you tell her that? Your worrying the poor girl. There's really no need to worry. Chester has changed alot since you two have met and he's changed for the better. Maybe taking things slow is something he's trying out and it's probably for the best," Alex reassures me.

"Okaayyyyy," I say slowly. I'm very confused with all the mixed answers I was getting. What am I supposed to do? Worry or not worry?

I think I'll just talk to Chester later. There's nothing to worry about.

Right?

"You know what? Let's just go inside. Don't want to be late for class," Sky says, switching the subject. We all agree and walk into the school building.

The first bell rings and the girls head off to class, but I feel a need to pee and decide that I would be late to class, so I won't pee on myself.

I use the bathroom quick, but before I can leave the stall that I'm in, I hear someone enter and I pause when I hear their voice.

"What the hell do you want, mom?" I hear Lily's voice, one that I haven't heard in a while.
