Chapter: The Mother Queen's Plan

"He knows that the prince works in the cafe, but how, my queen?" Mr Yun asked as to the lady sitting in front of him on the sofa while he was standing.

"That day you went to that cafe to meet Sang Hyeon, he had tailed you and so...he knows."

"But it was you who told me to-"

"This is what I anticipated. I wanted Han Gyeol to find him first before the prince finds him."

"But why, my queen?" Mr Yun asked and sat beside the woman.

"You know that the prince doesn't even know his proficiencies properly." He further added being worried.

"The prince.... has led a very sweet life until now. And...he has guilt for all those insignificant things which shouldn't even matter to him." She said and stood up from her place elegantly.

"So now, it's time for him to understand the major problems he has to face."

She walked some steps ahead and then turned around to face Mr Yun her eyes were filled with rage as she spoke up again,

"We can't let a lame prince ascend to the throne again?!" She exclaimed with anguish.

"We...can't make the same mistake twice." She looked outside the huge French door on her left as she remembered her childhood.

The things which she had seen makes her heart throb even today. That dark entity which didn't even have a name, conquering the kingdom. Even thinking about that past makes her feel anxious.

She doesn't even want to visualize how it would end up like if they tried to conquer it once again. How many lives will they have to sacrifice if they entered the kingdom once again? How many families and houses will be flamed into ashes if it happens again.

And she very well knows that if she needs to protect her kingdom, she has to make the unaware prince knowledgeable about his own capabilities. And that can only happen if he decides to fight Han Gyeol back and anyhow she'll make it happen. After all, she is the "Mother Queen" of the kingdom Montiara.

After looking outside the window for quite long she ordered Mr Yun,

"Call Evangeline, now!!"

"Y-yes, my queen" Mr Yun quickly picked up an ancient telephone and dialled a number on it.

That telephone may looked like a normal one from outside but, it was something one can never imagine. It connected all the seven gem realms all together and every foreign affairs minister had one to keep contact with their realm. All the gem realms had a special seven-digit phone number, unique for each gem realm. The phone ringed thrice before Madam Evangeline picked it up.

"Hello," Evangeline spoke up.

"Give it to me." The mother queen sitting beside Mr Yun ordered him. He nodded and carefully and gently handed her the call.

"Hello? Mr Yun?" Evangeline continued speaking.

"Evangeline!" An audacious voice welcomed Evangeline which left her eyes wide open and mouth gaping.

There was a brief silence on the line when Evangeline said in a low voice,

"Yes, speaking who's this?" she asked.

"It has been a long time Evangeline, I was sure you won't recognize" The mother queen continued speaking.

Evangeline's eyes went wet when she finally recognized who she was, her mind was resisting to believe what her ears were hearing. After debating for some seconds she barely managed to whisper,

"Mother Queen!"

"You-you're alive?" her voice cracked in between as she was holding her urge to cry over the phone.

"Yes, Evangeline. I guess...I should've called you a bit earlier, you sound so weak that you aren't even able to hide your years from me."

Evangeline chuckled at how her queen finds out her emotions just by listening to her voice. This made her all doubts fade away at once as she was sure that this was the mother queen, her queen, her mother only.

"How are things there? Is the king alright?"

"King Oceanus was blamed again in the council meeting. I made them sit silent but I don't think I'll be able to do that anymore, all other gem realms are being malicious towards us." Evangeline replied with a voice which was filled with disdain and helplessness.

"Ask them to be patient. Are they idiots?!" Mother Queen went a bit furious.

Cause From the times she has seen and has understood. She always felt that other gem realms have always tried to find any means to prove that Montiara is not capable of possessing the key to parallel universes and she never really liked it. She took a deep breath to control her anger and further added,

"Tell them to wait and that everything will be alright."

"My mother queen, will you...come back to Montiara ever?" Evangeline asked with a bit of hesitation.

"I guess, I'm not."

"So should I tell anyone abo-"

"No!" She quickly responded interrupting Evangeline.

"You shouldn't, even by mistake."

"As you wish my queen," Evangeline replied.

Evangeline has always been grateful to the mother queen even tho she belongs to another realm. She has always been loyal to her queen and her people and the mother queen trusts her the most after Mr Yun.

"And there's something else too that I want to ask." She told Evangeline.

"Yes, my queen!"

"How is the princess of Ugrania doing?"

"Oh, princess?!" Evangeline asked.

"She still is mischievous but no one knows where she is, she said she'll catch Han Gyeol and went following him into another realm."

"So, should I consider that she is here?" The mother queen inspected further.

"I guess."

"Is there any way you can locate her and inform to me?"

"I'll tell you by the evening if possible."

"Okay then, inform me by evening."

And the phone call went disconnected. Here Mr Yun was confused and someone has to clear his confusion. He after debating a bit he finally asked,

"Why are you finding the princess of Ugrania?"

Hearing this question a smirk took its chance to get formed on the mother queen's faded pink lips. She took a slow deep breath and concluded,

"Just...I need a helping hand and..." She paused as she looked outside.

"It's been a while since I saw something dramatic in my real life..."

And she chuckled....
