Avy' POV

"YEHEY!!" we all scream because of happiness cuz we complete the task in just about 4 hours and we know that we are the fastest group who finished it.

"Sir told us to go back, they already knew that we're done" some of my groupmates spoke we agreed with that so we went back to our campaign site. While we were back we also met other students, some go and some go back.

We go there for just a few minutes cuz it's easy to memorize the directions since the way here is not far that much.

"congrats! You finished your task!" Our prof greeted us with a wide smile appeared on his lips.

"Psh sir, relaxed the task is so basic," One of them said and winked so we all chuckled because of that.

It's already 9 pm and I think all of us are already here "Avy!" I heard someone called my name ao I looked back and I saw Lian

"Hello!" I said and hug her

"Owemji how are you?" She asked

"girl, I'm still Avyanna, calm down," I said and laugh. "did you see, Zharina?" I asked her

"no, I thought you are with her" she answered

"Maybe she's with her group? try to call her" I said and Lian do what I suggest, It's ringing but not answering the call.

"grrr, I think her phone is in silent mode."

"HELPPP SIR HELP!" all of us are shock because of that Loud voice coming from the gay wait that's Zharina's Leader, right?

"wait Zharina are there!" Lian said so we go there but we stopped when I saw them holding a girl unconscious. "ohmygosh that's Zharina's partner!" Lian said

"really? then where's Zharina?!" I asked and my voice rose a bit, something is entering my brain that isn't good. They walked towards us and lay down the girl on the blanket.

"what happened?" Our campaign leader asked

"Sir please help us, Zharina Jiwon Lee Is missing," Their leader said that make us stunned and our jaw drop

"holyfuck ohmygosh!" I said and felt my skin hair up. Lian's holding my arms so I can feel the coldness of her palm.

I approach the girl and bend my knee so that I can reach her. "W-where's Zharina?" I asked with a shaken voice. She didn't answer me and Lian pulled me away "answer me! wake up! You're with her!" I shouted and some of them hold me to calm me down

"Sir, can I join the search?" I looked up and it's Caleb

"Mr—"

"if you don't allow me I still leave" He answered so the leader nod and they ready their things to go.

"Caleb, please..." I said while crying, Lian's hugging me and crying too. Caleb look at us and nod

"I will bring Zharina here safely," He said and they ran away.

Kajik POV

"How is it, bro? have you seen my—"

"your girlfriend?" one of them cut me off that make me stunned and furrowed my eyebrows in confusion

"my what?" I asked and my voice and rose a little, they chuckled and tapped my shoulder

"calm down, man. Calm down" He said while holding his laugh. I dont have time to joke with them I need to find Zharina. I don't fucking know why I'm fucking worried.

"You look like her boyfriend, bro. You two are dating?" Joseph asked, he's one of my group mates. I looked at him and glared so he immadiently closed his mouth tightly and moved away from me. What the fuck did he say?!

"What the fuck are you talking about?" I asked them, and instead of answering me with a serious answer they just laugh, how are they able to laugh like that when we have a missing groupmate.

"Dude you ask lately 'where is MY' and then Joseph asked if it's your girlfriend because of that my word" Gian spoke while smirking. I looked at them and slowly cursing myself because for that,

"w-what I mean is my f-friend," I said and quickly took my eyes off them. They shook their heads like they're not convinced about my reason. That's what I want to say lately, swear.

"friend? as far as I know you're not closed with her nor her best friends," Gian said and because Of irritation, I picked a long branch of a tree that make them stop from laughing and immadiently walked away.

"fuckers" I murmured and start to walk again. We are here for almost one and a half hour, Our group mates already reported and they said that there is a rescuer who's helping us

"Hello, sir? what? Do we need to go back?" I looked back when I heard Gian spoke, he's talking to someone on his phone and I know that's our professor who wants us to go back. I don't want if that so.

"But sir—" Gian quickly moved away from his phone to his ear and close his eyes, perhaps scolded by a professor. "yes sir we are going back later— Yes yes yes I mean now sir now!" he said and hang up the phone call.

"what's now?" Ethan asked

"go back if you want but I'll continue finding—"

"bro, it's dangerous to go alone—"

"then come with me" I cut them off. They shook their heads but I just ignored it and was about to walk again when I step something. I looked down then saw a flashlight, I bend down to pick it up

"What is that?" Gian asked, I show them what I was holding "what is that? flashlight?" he asked again

"No, I think that's a match" Gian answered with a sarcastic tone.

"what? match? stupid! that's a flashlight" Gian said and laugh. All of us looked away and feel disappointed.

"You guys should go," I said to them while looking at the flashlight

"how about you? you'll stay here? damn man don't you dare to—HEY!!!! KAJIK MOTHERFUCKER" I ignored them even they keep on calling my name, I already know the owner of the flashlight 'cuz I saw Zharina's name on it. I know she's near and I will soon find her.

I check my wrist clock where our professor gave us to know If we are in danger and fuck, yeah, My clock is already red and I know I'm close to Jiwon, wherever she is.

Zharina's POV

"h-help.." I whispered. I can't shout to beg a help because of what im feeling right now, I guess I have a break bone and bruises. I feel from a cliff and I dont know where I am now "Oh God.." I said and touch my head, I felt a sticky liquid, and when I check it my forehead Is bleeding.

I'm dizzy and I can't even move my body. I can't remember anything what I only know is I'm running because I saw a stupid dangerous motherfucker animal.

I looked to my surroundings if there's an animal like I met lately and but I can't see anything but only a bunch of giant trees, my hands are the only part Of my body that I can move for now. I tried to tap the space near me so I can find a thing that I can use to call for help.

I keep on tapping and sometimes I tapped a sticky or liquid thing and I was like...is this a poof? FUCKYOU SATAN!

"Help!" I try to shout but I can't. I want to give up not until I touch something that makes me smile "GAWD this is my traveling bag!" I said and arched when I accidentally moved my ankle.

I slowly pulled my bag and planning tow to open it with just 1 hand! I'm not a pro for this fawk.

"be patient, Zharina, patient please" I talking to myself "you don't want to die yet, right? then open that fucking bag!" I said and scolded myself for a second time.

"Gone is my chance to lead a healthy normal life. Gone is my chance to behold the many lovely things God created for us. Gone is a promise of a Blissful life. Gone, gone forever—OHMYGOSH I OPEN IT!" I said with joyfulness. I'm just saying my declamation speech when I was in high school and yeah I can still remember it.

"YES—OUCH!" I arched because of pain. I touch the lower part of my bag and shake it so my things will show up. I look for my fife and glad I found it.

I blew it and praying that HUMAN is the one who will hear me and not animals! "please..." I whispered,

I've been blowing it for about a long minutes and I'm thirsty right now then my tummy is crying. I want to sleep because of tiredness but I'm worried because Maybe I'm only a skull here and the animals are full. huhuhuhu please God doesn't let satan to do it.

I blew a fife one more time and after a second passed I saw a reflection of light "ZHARINA?!" I immadiently open my eyes because of shocks and try to recognize who's calling me.

"JIWON?!" That person shouted again and I already knew who is it. I blew my Fife again so Kajik will know where I am. Yes, He's the one who's calling me on my second name.

"JIWON? IS THAT YOU? WAIT FOR ME!" he shouted so I felt relief. I sigh for satisfaction and close my eyes.

"Jiwon? hey wake up, your head is bleeding, dont sleep please" I can feel that Kajik is shaking me to wake me up so I slowly open it and smiled at him.

"thank you," I said and he smiled back. He carries me slowly and arched because my bruises are touching and the broken part of my body is moving

"Im sorry, the rescuers are coming," he said and I just wrapped my arms around him and felt safe.

"Just Hold on to me, You're safe," that's the last word he said before my eyes closed.
