The general was about 10 seconds from being on the top and in that time at least 4 groups will be slaughtered. The army of animals was already there, several steps away from people on the left, we all were sitting or standing in a crescent. People closest to the woods well… Didn't have much luck, I saw blood on the ground, animals from three directions were running at us. The general appeared right at this moment with a cigar in his mouth.

"Holy moly. What the f*ck is that?" The man said and snapped his finger. Somehow… The animals stopped moving, all of the animals on the horizon, and since no others were coming outside of the forest that means they were probably stopped as well. What is that… He is already sweating but it's very normal since all the animals are completely frozen, there were so many… His sweat is almost like a pond at this point, it's just so weird. How strong is that guy? Or rather, how does it work actually. And why is he saving us? "Well, quick death like that is not what we are paid for." Paid for? Wait… Is this place something like 'pay to make this person disappear'? What the hell is this place, people in here are actually set up? Paid for being here and dying in rust? "Woo, there is a lot of them there let me tell you." Then with the other hand, he created a great dark bowl above this part of the forest. He snapped once again and at the moment when the animals were released from their bonds, the ball of darkness fell onto the trees and got popped like a balloon.

Water started flowing throughout the entire forest and stopping right at the bodies of the people that got already been killed. But it didn't do any damage… It slowed them immensely though. The hand he used to snap before, now, it is covered in flames, not just dark flames but ominous dark red colored flames. A small weirdly shaped flame, small to the size of the pinky. The small flame touched the weird water, then it combusted and incinerated the entire population of commanded animals. They vanished to ashes in a matter of a second. But the trees were left unscathed, something weird, his fire didn't burn the trees. Is he indicating something with that? Well, we probably will never know. The animals that were still there are just a pile of dark ash and nothing else at all.

"So, ladies, you done?" The general himself once again spoke to us after probably destroying half of the ecosystem on this mountain. A lot of animals died, I wonder what the shrine thinks about losing its slaves. Another thing… That guy is a goddamn monster. Not scary but I don't understand how I will be able to fulfill the requests I took from the two sacred people at this point. Namtufare and … … …, well I can't pronounce it but I know how it sounds so at least in my thoughts I somewhat know it but I can't say it. "Ready to head out?" He screamed across the entire field with nothing less than just a small gasp and not tired at all. People started going to him, he looked around with a smile. Most of the people half dead, some can't walk properly anymore, and surely a lot of people still alive will fall.

"Lupo, do you see any casualties from our side?" I whispered behind me very quietly to not let the general knowledge. We need to keep our voice down for now. Somehow we will have to maybe overpower him later therefore, the more the better. No real issues with that logic ain't it… I just hope there won't be a need to kill people here, no one would leave the hole… Fuck, why am I concerned with those people?

"I think… We lost one group. What a shame… But we got everyone else though, we got more with us now. Probably if we will try then everyone will join. But now just follow the general." He answered quickly and rather louder than me, but when I looked in front to check if the general wasn't too close, he was pretty far away. There is no problem with us talking louder. Well, I hope at least.

"Look at you! You are almost like a new! All of you! Okay, boys, I bet you have some strength to go right? Let us go then, or if you want, stay here. Have fun though." Staying in this place for most people would be just like suicide, most of them are half dead, very tired, and already pretty damaged. What a bastard… He knows that they would just die out here if they stood any longer. A concern in my mind, he said that we are supposed to suffer much longer instead of dying and being relieved. Why didn't he save the people that were falling then? Is there a point why he didn't do it? "Nice shirt, elven shit. Where did you get that?" He asked while heading to the stairs, whispered it between us. "Now, take all of your stuff, and let's head down!" A gesture of his hand 'follow'. A ball of air appeared right under his feet and he slowly started descending. I wanted to be the last in line therefore we all waited. When we were the last, right at the moment when I put my feet on the metal plate. I looked behind me once again, leaving a piece of my history and a piece of my memories. Corpses of people, blue, dead from the cold… More than 5 groups died. Much more than just that.

"How cruel is that?" I asked them but my words met no answer. There was no good answer for it, there is only pain in them. Especially Estel and Marcus that now are going through horrors. Estel has his own mind, Marcus is just afraid because of that deer to the point of going insane. He almost pissed his pants when we were sitting there and looking at Namtufare, I will call her like that even though we aren't close. I think that name suits her very well. A white deer with dark antlers ending with beautiful purple flames coming out from the ends.

"This is the world isn't it, right, Hayden?" Bog asked me very suspicious of my intentions from now on, still afraid but you can clearly see that he is trying to keep something inside of his mind and feeling spectrum. He doesn't want to concern anyone here. But the tone of his voice isn't indicating that. What a weird man, smart but also doesn't know a lot.

A long stroll down… The several hundred to maybe even thousands of steps down, it's much easier to go down instead of climbing up of course. But the chances of falling also increase because of the speed, and the second big reason being problems with legs and overall body functions. Coldness just taking them over, now that we climb in the winds of the evening it's even more normal to happen. Maybe 60 or 50 people were left from around 100 at least, people were dying like flies in those two days and the luck of us losing only four is a miracle. A very good miracle for us but a strange occurrence overall. Maybe by pushing that luck, we can actually avoid fighting when escaping, I really hope we can.

While coming down, some people fell but it's far less than when we were going up. I don't know why is it because of just the way you go down? Because it's easier. Well, I am very not sure about it but it's the only reason coming to my mind at this already ridiculous thing. Overall, this place is a joke. People pay them to torture them while they just walk around and have fun. What is this world? It just doesn't get through me at all, nothing comes to my mind that would explain those kinds of actions. Nothing can justify torturing people for money, it's almost like slavery or even more than that. It's one of the most corrupt things in the world.

It will take a very long time to come back down especially with the injuries of most of us. The general also has to be slowed down because we don't want to die while walking down. Makes no sense for it to happen, the casualties are not worth the payoff of coming down. And only the people that are willing enough pursued and stayed alive until now. I don't think anyone else will be falling anymore. Their will to live and knowledge of escaping will keep them alive. And I will surely persevere, not even second thought about that, I need to stay alive. I have to stop the corruption… Even if it's already sunk into the
