"Is she going to be alright?." I can hear my mother from the background.
"Mom. what's going on." my voice is shaky. My eyes are meet by a bright light.
"Are you okay dear," she rushes over to my aid.
"Just a little sore," everything hurts as I try to get up.
"Everything is going to be just fine, they had to pump your stomach." she pulls me into her embrace.
It all comes back in a second, I took a bunch of pills. I was stressed when my mother forced me to stop talking to Sam.
But I didn't then she forced her to break up with me.
I couldn't take it, it was all too much to handle I had to end it.
"Why did you let me live," I whisper to my mother who is in tears.
"I couldn't let you go."
"You need help Alice," she sobs.
"What do you mean," I look at her confused.
"I called an institution, they'll help us get everything back to normal."
"Your sending me away?," I can't believe her.
The second I try to kill myself, she drops me like a bag of stones. am too much for her all this is she trys to justify her actions.
"Let them help you." I hear her shout from my hospital room, I need to run far from here.
But am too late, some men catch my be surprise. They take me away as my mother waves goodbye with a wicked grin on her face.
She wanted this, she's finally free of a burden. Of course she would be happy. She died to me that day.

"Lay her on her side." I hear one voice from the background command the rest.
"Bring me some milk." I can feel the room spinning.
"No, open your eyes, look at me."
"bring me some milk." he commands again. "What did you do." My eyes close.
Am greeted with a hurtful light in my eyes.
"Good your awake."
"am I dead?."
"No your in the hospital, you've been a sleep for two days now."
"Why did you wake me up." I ask the doctors in front of me but he just smiles and walks away.
My head hurts a lot I can't believe am still alive.
"Honey are you okay," the woman walks up to my bed.
"Doctor, will she be alright."
"Yes she'll be just fine, the medication she took weren't so harmful, but the combination of the pills and the injection in her blood stream led her into shock. Since her body was worn out and lacked nutritional value."
"Thank the Lord," She says at last. Fake compassion.
"And what medicine would have lead me to death," I ask the doctor who just looks shocked.
"Don't mind her, she's joking."
"Am not." The doctor walks out.
"What were you thinking."
"I don't know, maybe I should finally put things to an end."
"but dear, I was worried sick about you."
"Isn't it punishment enough that you sent me away, took the love of my life away from me. Was I wrong just to finish it all?."
"But they are helping you."
"They are killing me, you are killing me to. Am tired."
"This is not you talking, it's the works of that she devil."
"Leave me alone, let me get some sleep before I go back to that hell," I close my eyes trying to avoid her.
I can hear the doors close, I open my eyes again, everything is blurry with the tears in my eyes.
I remember her, everything we did together before madness broke loose.
I just want to see her, even is just for a second, I miss her in my life, I miss my family.
For the next few hours I refuse to eat anything that they bring me, but I do take medicine they bring.
By tomorrow I'll be back to my hell.
"Honey you have to eat something," I don't answer or open my eyes but tears run down my cheeks.
