Footshot...

Celestina's POV

I'm bored out of my mind. Maybe, I can run out of here like a monkey in a banana factory. That wouldn't leave a good impression on the professor. He has been droning about Shakespeare for a very long time. Nobody looks interested.

On cue, the bell rang as he started about A Midsummer Night's Dream. Dio mio.

I met up with Carlotta. We had a class together. We were talking about random shit till I bashed into someone. Totally the person's fault. I was walking near the lockers. I moved away to see a boy standing in front of me, smirking. Okay.

Carlotta opened her mouth to object him. But he raised his hand to stop her. As if that is going to stop her. She rolled her eyes and mouthed to me. "I'll be there." Pointing near the group.

"What you did yesterday was really hot. You are damn feisty." He said.

I just stood there with a blank face. Having a fake surprise look, he continued, "I'm Noah. You are?"

"I'm Pocahontas." Snickers spread like a wild fire in the hallways. Carlotta and the other were choking due to their laughing spree.

"You proved yourself when I said you are feisty." He stepped closer to me. Dude, ever heard of personal space. The hallway was silent like it was someone's funeral. Irony is that I was planning his murder in my head.

"Good for you." I tried moving away. But he raised his left hand stopping me. I looked again to see his face in close proximity. I was about to puke when he spoke up. "Scared, Hündin?"(Bitch)

"Ich bin kien spiegel, Hündin." I pushed his hand away. (I'm not a mirror, bitch.)

I walked away towards Carlotta. She grinned at me. She rolled her eyes at him. I smiled at her antics. Everyone seemed confused but some understood. "Does any more rituals happen in this college?"

Lucy laughed. "Nope, not anymore. He was Bliss's boyfriend. That's why he was talking to you."

"More like throwing up words." This made everyone laugh. We left for our classes. Arts. This room was different. It had a certain quaintness to it. It described the different period of art. The pictures were random without any grouping. It was colorful and eye-catching.

We both sat in a desk in the middle row. We started chatting again waiting for our teacher.

We argued about an art work on the board. She started sulking and turned away. Everyone filed inside the class and sat on their places. I then realize to my right was Noah and Bliss, talking to each other. More like Bliss screeching at him and squealing about something. I turned to Carlotta. "Hey, talk to me. I'm disgusted than ever. Talk to meee." I whined.

"Oh, look who it is. Miss bitch, nice to meet you." Bliss screeched.

I turned around. I had a fake cheerful look. "Oh, look it is Barbie. I wish I could say the same to you." She was fuming with anger. I turned my head away to see a petite figure walking inside out class. She seemed Asian.

She seemed so sweet. "Hello, class." Her voice sounds so soft. "How about we introduce ourselves? I'll start."

"I'm Han Soo-yeon. I'm coming from South Korea. You can call me Soo-yeon. No formalities. I'm took up art because I love art."

Everyone introduced themselves. Bliss and Noah didn't even bother to stand up and they just said their name but her enthusiasm was never worn out.

"I'm Celestina. I'm from Italy. You can call me Celeste or Tina. I took art because it's a self-expression and confidence." She smiled widely at me.

"I'm Carlotta. I'm from France. I took art because it's the perfect cool down and I'm more observant." She smiled widely to her too. Great, day one and we both are teacher's pet.

"Okay, seeing that we have time left. I'll leave you guys to spend free time. Next class, we will start working." She sat down and minded her own business. Whispers echoed in the room from each corner.

"I've been wanting to ask for quite a long time. But I thought it would be awkward. So, I didn't." Carlotta started hesitantly.

"What is it?" For some reason, I felt nervous. I knew she would ask someday but not this fast.

"Are you there in your father's business?" She whispered.

"You are doing a horrible job at whispering." She looked annoyed while I was shaking with laughter.

"Don't deflect."

"Okay, joy kill. No, I'm not. I was sent away for my safety." I said, waiting for her response.

"That's good. That's why he sent you here." She smiled genuinely. Gullible.

We chatted happily like little children but I was a little guarded throughout the entire conversation.

I didn't have anymore classes but I'm not gonna stay in my home idly. I decided to do something. What was it? I forgot. Never mind.

"Do you wanna go to the mall today? I'm want to shop. It's been a very long time. Alena wanted to go to. Wait, I'll be back." She left jumping excitedly. Guess, whatever I had forgotten would stay forgotten. I have new plans. Am I making any sense? Carlotta seems to be rubbing off on me.

I cleared by locker and placed my books. I stood near my locker, playing with my phone. Don't ask why.

A ball hit the back of my head and fell in front of me. It was a football. Okay, Celeste, breathe.

It might just be the guys.

I picked the ball with my leg and hold it in my hand. I turned around to see the entire football team. Including Jake, Derek and Blue-eyed asshole.

"Sorry, it was a foot shot." Was his soulless response.

"A what the hell, now?" Was my clever response.

How, clever. My mind sassed me.
