Chapter 74

There were a million things I wanted to say to him, but they all rushed in at once that I didn't know which to say first. I decided to skip the thinking and hug him tightly, just to make sure that he wasn't a hallucination. For all I know, my mind could have been playing tricks on me and he could have been Prof. Dog all along.

"Are you real?" I asked.

He shook his head in disbelief. "Really, Cho? You finally see me again and the first thing you do is question my existence."

"I have to make sure."

He smirked. "Shall I help you with that?"

He led me to the balcony where there was no one around. How convenient. As soon as we got there, he immediately kissed me long and hard without hesitation. No one from inside the ballroom noticed.

"Are you convinced of my existence yet or do you need another one?" he asked.

My face was red. "I-I'm convinced!"

He frowned. "I was hoping you'd ask for another one."

Honestly, I did want another one, but I was too embarrassed to admit it.
