Grace tries to kill herself

Days passed and it has been more than a week since Tina went missing. Still, no one could find any clue or even a single piece of evidence about her whereabouts. All their efforts seemed as if they were throwing a stone into the vast ocean.

The chief had ordered the search team to be pulled back and he even assigned them to handle some other cases. He told Mason that they would keep the case open for now but they also had other important cases to take care of as well. And they could not spend their resources only on this missing case alone anymore.

"I am sorry, but I am being pressured by the higher-ups and they gave me a headache in today's meeting. I tried to negotiate to at least allow one team to continue the search but they refused. I am sorry, I can't help you anymore. Why don't you try to hire some private investigators? They might not be as dedicated as us but I heard a few detectives are really good." The chief of police suggested to him.
