Kylie noticed Mason and Grace were talking something secretly in one corner. She dashed near where they were standing and gazed at them with a scrutinizing look.

"What are you both doing here standing alone? Did the doctor say something bad about Grace's health? Is she in a very critical condition?" Kylie asked as she was worried about Grace.

"No, Mom. The doctor hasn't informed us anything about Grace yet," Mason replied to her while trying to hide his inner turmoil.

He was afraid that his mother could have heard their conversation and he started to sweat a lot.

"Then what else are you both talking so seriously until now? I can see that you both are not looking too good. I was thinking it's about Grace but since you denied it just now, then what is troubling you both? Is there something else that I should be concerned about too?" Kylie looked straight into their eyes and asked them.
