The Meeting

Samual strode into his class thinking how boring can life be...the same people everyday and at ten years old he wanted to meet new people... He sat down in the back of the class with the same routine when the teacher was interrupted by the principle. "Well class, we have a new arrival! Her name is Sandra and she just moved her yesterday...now this doesn't happen often so please make her feel welcome!" This young brunette walked in not wearing the typical school uniform. She was proud looking sporting her long hair tied up in a messy bun like she did it herself and forgot to fully brush through her hair. Sandra knows her mother wasn't too happy with her hair before she left for school but Sandra insisted that she will be herself and she is there to learn and not to make friends. What ten year old thinks like that but Sandra always matched to her own beat and did what she wanted. Sandra saw a open seat so she walked by all the staring eyes and sat next to a boy...who was also staring! This was going to be a very long day. What Sandra didn't realize is she sat next to her future husband, her best friend who would protect her from the boys who wanted her for one reason, from the girls who were jealous of her confidence. The life they knew before they met each other were completely different. He wanted to settle in this place forever and she wanted to meet the world. Who knew they would see the world together and then settle down right where they met!

Samual just couldn't stop from stealing glances at Sandra. Normally he is able to just focus on his work and go throughout the day like every other day! But there she sat, next to him and he wanted to know more about her... where did she come from? What was her favorite color? Now he had to wait till he was able to talk to her..."what are you staring at? Anything I should be worried about?" Spat Sandra! She didn't want to be someone's wife to have kids so welcoming a boy was far from her mind. Samual just looked down without a word but he felt his face turn red, never does his face turn red for anyone so now he wanted to know more but he will wait...

"Lunch time class, see you in one hour but don't be late!" The teacher announced then walked out. Crap where is the lunch room...Sandra sat there for a few seconds. Maybe someone will be nice and show her... all the girls just sneered and walked away leaving her at her desk. She was about to just stay sitting there and wait for the class to start again when that boy walked over. His face slightly red like he was still embarrassed from the comment Sandra made at him earlier. " want to grab lunch with me? I know it's your first day and some of the food is gross so maybe I can point you to the good stuff?" Ok maybe this boy might be useful she thought to herself..."sure..." was all she could say as they walked down the long hallway.

Ten years later Henry was so proud of his daughter. She traveled, she got a college degree and she was getting married today! His little girl who they hoped would become a woman who loved life happened so fast. They always say your kids grow up so fast it's like time flew by and that is what happened. Stacy was in the bridal room helping her daughter get dressed. Henry knew he wouldn't have to wait very long as his daughter was simple. She never wore makeup but then she didn't need to. She had this tan complexion that women tried painting on their face. She had perfect eye lashes that would flutter just right when she wanted something growing up, like that horse she was able to get. Sandra held a beauty that most women wanted and she didn't feel like she did. She loved vintage stuff and simple things. "Daddy!" Henry was pulled out of his trance of his child and was looking at his daughter who was becoming a wife. She stood there beaming with excitement. She wore a simple lace dress and insisted on it not being pure white, it had a beige color like it's been aged. That dress looked familiar and it got him, his daughter is wearing his wife's wedding dress just slightly altered for her slim figure. The tears started as he stood there staring at her. She was no longer going to be a child today he was giving her away to a pretty decent guy..." do you like it, mom wanted it to be a surprise about the dress!" Sandra beamed at her father who wore a huge smile and tears flowed down his cheeks. "It's perfect, just like you" was all he could choke out.
