Fighting Wolfs

After the wolfs saw one of their own die to Alex's attack they were enraged, but it also made them alert. They were not jumping up the tree anymore and instead they formed an arc with their eyes locked onto Alex.

Alex had a spear prepared in his hand ready to throw at a moment's notice. However, it didn't seem like a better chance would show its self so he tried his luck and threw the spear at one of the wolfs.

Alex's spear left at great velocity but the wolf was watching him the whole time so it was able to dodge and managed to get away with a small cut on its side that left a batch of fur red.

Alex frowned when he saw how the wolf reacted before the spear had even left his hand. Luckily his stats as a level 3 clearly outweighed these wolfs, however he was still not confident if he could beat the 3-remaining wolfs if he was on the ground.

Alex looked at a different wolf and aimed one of the last 4 spears at it. He didn't have very much room on the branch he was standing on but he took a fast and powerful step forwards facing the wolf. However right as it seemed he would throw the spear he changed direction slightly towards the other uninjured wolf and hurled his spear at the fastest speed he could.

The wolf couldn't react as fast and tried to move however the spear impaled right where its right hind leg meet its back and continued all the way through it making it hard to move.

When Alex noticed he had incapacitated another wolf for at least a short time he took two spears and jumped down the tree.

Right as he landed, he threw the spear at the farthest wolf, which was the slightly injured on, and charged the last wolf with his spear in front of him.

The leftmost wolf was laying on the ground trying to bit the spear in his hind leg. The middle wolf had just dodged the spear thrown at him without being hit, since Alex didn't have time to aim well, and was already moving towards Alex.

Meanwhile Alex had charged the wolf closest to him, which was on the right, trying to impale him with his spear.

As the spear approached the wolf it moved to the side and bite down on the shaft cracking it but not breaking it completely.

Alex left one hand on the spear to keep it steady while the other hand griped his club that he had strapped to his back. As he held the wolf in place, he smashed it on the skull with all his strength.

The wolf was stunned but the massive hit on his head on lost his grip on the spear. Alex took the opportunity to move it back and thrust it back towards the wolfs neck.

The spear found its mark and went through one of the wolfs vital points causing a huge amount to blood to spray out. As the wolf fell over Alex noticed a shadow leap over the corpse and latch onto his shoulder.

"Ahhhh!"

Alex yelled and he broke the spear still impeded in one of the wolfs neck in half. With the spear much smaller Alex was able to use it as a knife while he stabbed the wolf tearing at his shoulder repeatedly in the same cut, he had made in its body earlier.

Even after the last notification came to Alex's brain, he continued to stab in pain and anger. After he wore himself out a little, he pried the wolfs jaws off of his shoulder with a grunt of pain.

Alex looked at the last wolf who still had a spear in its hind leg. The wolf slowly got up and gave an angry and pained growl at Alex.

As Alex looked at the wolf while holding his shoulder, he laughed at the fact that him and the wolf were in very similar states. Alex looked at the nearest full spear embedded in the ground not far from him.

Suddenly the wolf dashed at Alex with its significantly reduced speed, however it was still fast enough to make it so Alex wouldn't be able to out run it for long. Alex made his way to the spear as fast as he could for his final stand against the wolfs.

Just before Alex made it to the spear the wolf leaped at him. Alex made a roll while grabbing the spear and pointing it up wards.

The wolf was in the air and could do nothing about its's fate. It impaled its self on Alex's spear while it shot it blood all over his face.

Alex whipped his face and said "Man if I had been in a narrow mountain pass then I would be just like Leanidous, maybe I will find someone to kick into a pit one day." Then Alex went through and collected all of the beast crystals.

Alex found three speed and one intelligence stat crystals. After absorbing two the experience dropped to 30% so Alex was only able to level up once however that's all he needed.

"Finally, Open Inventory"

Alex saw a row of 5 boxes with another row below it that was gray and said "Locked" across them. All Alex had to do was think about putting his club, knife stick, and three spears into his inventory and then went they disappeared in an instant.

"That will help a lot, let's go check out my progress, status"

"Why does my health say that it should be lower right?" Alex asked

"It's probably because you put your point into constitution the percentages are based on real number so it would make sense if you gained actual health instead of mass health." Lu answered

"I Should keep some stat points so I can heal at any point until I get some health potions or healing spells." Alex said as he prepared to move forward, but right as he took a step he collapsed on the ground.

"You have never done anything that active before, even with all your boosts you still did a lot. Luckily you had a lot of adrenaline and it seems you have good instincts in a fight, including crazy reaction times. But you should really get up this blood is going to bring a lot of attention to this area that you can't handle anymore." Lu said with excitement in his voice before he became serious.

"I guess playing impossibly difficult fighting games finally helped me thanks dark souls." Alex laughed while he staggered to his feet and continued moving Southwest, before long he found a tree and went to sleep as he had been for the past days.
