Chapter Six

After Gem's startling truth, Izzy has to convince the Umbreon to let her catch him, as well as raise the eggs, and hide them from her family until it's safe.

"GAH! Your mate is so stubborn!" I hissed, picking up a wrecked pokeball, which was the sixth one. "He needs to realize if he wants to stay, he needs to be caught!"

Lightning, Vulpix, and Azure sat on my bed, watching.

Gem looked down, upset. "Espeon."

I pulled her into my lap. "No, don't cry. It's not your fault." I muttered as I rubbed her back.

"Umbreon." Umbreon yawned, and scratched behind his ears.

Lightning stood up, and growled. "PIKACHUUUUUUU!" he used thunderbolt, but struck Gem and I on accident.

"Lightning!" I shrieked, sprawled on my back. "This isn't a battle-" my eyes widened. "That's it! Azure, use moonblast!" I shouted.

Gem used physic to close my bedroom door, and Azure then used moonblast.

"Breon..." Umbreon fainted, and I chucked a pokeball. One. Two. Three. Click.

You've caught Umbreon! Registered to pokedex. Would you like to give him a name?

I grabbed my pokedex off the stool next to my bed. "Yes."

UMBREON

Shadow.

"Come on out!" I said, pressing the button on the pokeball.

Shadow popped out, a bit angry. "Umbreon."

"Shadow, this is your daughter. She's sorry about attacking you." I lifted Azure off my bed.

"Sylveon!" Azure scampered up to Shadow, nuzzling him.

Gem joined them.

"Awww, I need my camera!" I looked around for my tablet. It was on the floor. By the time I opened the camera app, and was just about to press the button , Lightning ran up and tried to photo bomb. "You sneaky Pikachu!" I laughed.
