Hundred & Seventeen (117)

"Why do I feel as though this will escalate in a terrible way" James thought as he turned to Gali who was still fuming

The next day.

Inside James's office, the remaining Eternals could be seen sitting quietly behind a table. Gali and James could be seen sitting and standing behind the office desk respectively. James looked on with interesg while Gali looked like she wanted to wipe them out of existence.

"I heard about Druig's death yesterday, my condolences…. Now on to the main part, Your Prime-ness… your highness, lord Zuras, Prime…."

"Just stick with Zuras" Zuras said stopping James from making the already awkward situation even more awkward. He didn't have a title that went along with his position. He was just Zuras to all and The Prime Eternal to the Eternals.

"That's good, now about the space station… I can't lie and tell you that there is a way of fooling the sensors that came with the satellites accompanying it but there is a way we can go about this" James said knowing exactly how powerful his satellites were after all he designed them himself with the help of the omniscient Paris

"What do you mean by that?" Zuras asked, he didn't believe what James was saying after all the satellites in question were Elysian property. They could tweak it as much as they wanted so what James was saying didn't make sense

"Well the satellites were designed with absolute surveillance in mind, they track everything from sub-spaces on Earth to Portals to other parts of the Universe"

"Meaning that we would be detected no matter what we do?"

"Yes but the good news is that, that aspect is registered to Elysium only"

"Then we would like to request that this information isn't leaked to the public, the Eternals have lived on this planet for millions of years and in secret, we want to keep it that way"

"Naturally, humans may have the potential to evolve at a moment's notice but we aren't as broadminded as we think"

"So what do you want?" Zuras asked knowing that for the meeting to go easily then Elysium must surely have something they wanted from them.

"Surprisingly….. nothing, we built out satellites without considering how it may inconvenience secret races such as yours. I bet the Inhumans would have complained about it too if they were still on Earth"

"If it is as you say then we thank you for the favour done to us but I have a question?"

"What is it?"

"What was Druig's sin?"

"Attempted assassination of the King of Elysium" Gali answered for James and Zuras nodded

He didn't like the fact that this meeting was ending in such a manner. After yesterday's event, the last thing they wanted was to be indebted to Elysium, the very act of them withholding such information may seem like a small deal but it meant that the existence of the Eternals wasn't made public knowledge.

Even then, he also didn't feel comfortable knowing that Elysium was able to track their actions through these satellites. Phastos has scanned the hyperlink satellites in Orbit and none of them seem to have such abilities, if he didn't witness yesterday's event, he would have thought, James was lying.

With the satellites in their possession, Elysium would be able to instantly identify a meta using their abilities or some powerful device in action in any part of the world. He didn't even know the full abilities of the satellites so he believed that they allowed Elysium an Omniscient-level view on the world.

"I see... then I apologize for his actions, Druig may have being family but he was the black sheep so I hope that his actions doesn't affect the rest of the Eternals"
