Isaac watched as the dark green snake lunged like an arrow towards the large Terra-Caudata, aiming for its left side and coming in extremely quickly and unpredictably. The Terra-Caudata responds just as quick, Isaac watches as its skin becomes dark brown from its original orangish-brown color and becomes to form stones protruding from its body like a protective armor. Once the snake smashed into the Terra-Caudata, not only did it not chip the armor, but it bounced off obviously hurt from the collision. Recoiling back, the snake hisses angrily at the Terra-Caudata before its fangs begin to glow with a green light, and then suddenly a liquid secretes from its fangs, drips to the ground before melting a bit of the ground.
"Poison magic or Acid magic"? Isaac wonders, staring in surprise as he watches from within the bushes as the fight between the two magical beasts continue. "I have to be careful, it seems like magical beasts aren't too creative in their attacks at this stage, but their magic is pretty powerful". Isaac thinks as he slowly crawls towards the plant in a route that wouldn't allow him to be discovered by the snake and salamander. Once Isaac thought he was close enough, he rushed for the plant, picked it up, and began to immediately run in a direction opposite the magical beasts. Though Isaac was generally quick, he didn't escape the pursuit of both magical beasts that noticed his actions and went into immediate rage after him. The snake, the faster of the two creatures was able to catch up to Isaac and pounced at him with a spring like leap using its tail, fangs ready to crush Isaac in its clutches.
Isaac immediately reacts by creating a purple pillar construct under his feet allowing him to push himself into the air to dodge the attack of the snake bite. The snake slithers around the pole Isaac summoned as its fangs become green. The snake proceeds to bite the pole, causing for Isaac to begin to fall to the ground. While in midair though, Isaac summons Assurance into his hands and strikes down against the fangs of the snake. This clash causes Isaac to be sent flying back into a tree, as the strength of the snake was greater than his. Isaac stands up from the ground with the blade in his hand, to see that the salamander arrived within time to stare at Isaac with its big beady eyes, and the snake slithers up next to it, hissing at Isaac. Backed into a corner, Isaac looks around a bit before hardening his eyes.
"I can't afford to die here just yet". Isaac thinks to himself as he stares at the two magical beasts in front of him, that look just about ready to eat him alive. "I'm going to have to give up on this plant I took". As Isaac thinks this and reaches in his pocket for the plant, he notices a slight crevice in the ground a couple of meters away. Without any hesitation Isaac dashes towards the edge ravine at his fastest speed, but the magical beasts didn't make it so easy for him, multiple rock fragments would be aimed at him and a few would strike him in the back, while Isaac was fending off against the snake with its speedy and unpredictable attack patterns that took most of Isaac's attention. This cycle continues until Isaac is near the edge of the ravine, and he takes a small look behind him, as the two magical beasts corner Isaac. Isaac takes out the plant from his pocket, and waves it in front of the two magical beasts teasingly before placing it back in his pocket. The two magical beasts charge at Isaac, but in a feat of craziness, Isaac steps back proceeds to fall to the bottom of the ravine, with the magical beasts having jumped in with him, also beginning to free fall. Isaac who was falling down, summons two daggers within his hand and stabs them into the mountain, creating multiple grooves in the rock, to cause his fall to come to a halt. Looking back, he sees that both magical beasts have fallen to the bottom, and both look to be either dead or severely injured from the fall.
"If these magical beasts were any smarter, I might have had to give up the plant". Isaac scales up the ravine using his two daggers, creating holds so that he can continue to keep pulling himself up. Once he reaches the top, he sits down on a nearby boulder and resting for a bit. The wounds he had accumulated during this battle were not light by any means, and he barely had the energy to scale the rest of the mountain. Isaac while resting began to ponder about the battle more and more due to how close Isaac was to having to give up.
"I need to work on my defensive capabilities, I wanted to form that mana shield around me, but the focus it takes for me was just too much for me in the middle of the battle". Isaac ponders this problem for awhile before regaining the energy he needs to move once again. Standing up, he begins walking when he is suddenly stopped by a voice.
"You sure did scare me with that stunt of yours brat, but you did a good job for a spontaneous decision like that".
Isaac turns to see Opius staring at him with a huge grin on his face. "How did you find me"? Isaac asks in confusion, for the amount of distance from where he and Opius decided to camp for the night.
"I can tell you can sense magic pretty well, but the difference between my capabilities in sensing magic and yours is like the distance between heaven and hell". He chuckles hard at his own joke for a bit before wiping a tear from his eye. "You could say that creation mages are some of the best sensing mages out there, we have to account for very minute details in our magics when we construct things in the first place, so we tend to have better sensory capabilities than other mages that aren't specialized into sensory type magic.
Isaac nods his head in understanding and sends that small bit of information to the back of his head as he proceeds to ask a question on his mind as he brings out the plant from his pocket. "Master do you know what this plant is"?
