Revenant Ginseng and Magi Dodder

"Hmmmm..." Opius stares at the plant in Isaac's hand for some time before he finally comes to a conclusion about the plant.

"This is one rare plant you have Isaac, this is a special magical medicine that can be used to heal a majority of illnesses and some magical diseases. They call this type of plant the revenant ginseng, the weird thing is though, I don't recall the revenant ginseng being able to grow in the area near the crystal silk spiders cave", Opius states, staring at the plant confused.

"Where did you find the revenant ginseng Isaac"? Opius ask in a curious tone

"Now that I think about it, before I was fighting two magical creatures to get to the plant, so I never took too much notice to my surroundings, but the tree that the plant was next to and the magical beasts surrounded was blue in color, different from any tree I have ever seen. Green roots twisted all the way upwards the trunk of the tree, giving the tree a spiral look. Then small green orbs were in the leaves of the tree, and they were bright enough to illuminate the area under the tree and the surrounding area. The weird part is, it didn't radiate any magical energy so I didn't think too much abo-...Before Isaac could even finish his sentence, Opius enclosed a magical orb around him and then immediately bulked up and then jumped into the air, reaching a height of at least 500 feet, above the forest trees in five jumps, as he jumped, small platforms would form under his feet and he would jump again, the orb Isaac was in followed right next to him, no matter how high up he jumped.

"Point in the direction you found the tree! Quickly Isaac"! He shouts with a frantic look on his old face. Still a bit dizzy from the quickness of the events to unfold, Isaac points his finger in the northwest direction. Immediately following after that point of his finger, Opius rockets in that direction, jumping across the sky. Isaac who was still in the orb felt the surrealness of the scene as he was basically guided across the sky as well, following alongside Opius. Even though Isaac was prepared for the things he might see in a world full of magic, this scene still surprised and shocked him to his core.

"So this is the type of level mages can achieve? Now that I think about it, I don't even truly understand the tier system as well as I thought, Opius seems to be Tier 3, but he's on a different level than other tier 3 mages. If I become tier 3, would I also be able to learn to fly"? As Isaac ponders this question, Opius lands in a spot that has a hole the exact size of the tree that Isaac had seen. The orb comes down around Isaac, and Opius asks the question that Isaac himself was pondering at the moment.

"Was this the spot where the tree was Isaac"? Opius asks in a somewhat grave tone. Isaac only nods his head slowly, surprised that the entire tree was gone. Isaac was sure that the tree where he originally fled both the terra-caudata and the snake. Where the tree went, he had no clue, the huge hole in the ground showed though that it was uprooted in some sort of fashion. "Who would want to take the tree, and for what purpose"? Isaac thinks and asks Opius.

"Your thinking is a bit wrong here Isaac, nobody took the tree, you could even say the tree took itself, for you see, that tree you actually found is dangerous. That tree you found is called the Magi Dodder, it puts itself near areas of high magical energy and sucks the nutrients of the area, to make it grow in strength. Considering your description, its close or already at the stage in which it can begin to suck on the magical energy of weak creatures. The more it grows, the more dangerous it will become, that's why most hunters who are at my level were given a mission to exterminate these trees if we ever saw it. It's a pity that it's already changed locations, they are hard to find normally because they can move by uprooting themselves then shrinking themselves and burrowing through the ground, not only that, they can't be picked up by any magical sensor devices or sensory type mages.

Isaac in shock stares at Opius and asks a important question. "Just how strong can this tree grow to be"? Opius gives Isaac a grave look and shakes his head a little, before sitting on a rock and answering Isaac's question.

"Isaac...the last time I saw one of these trees, it was at the tier 4 level. That was also the day I saw an entire large village of children, men, and woman alike, being sucked dry of their nutrients and killed till they had no blood left in their bodies". Opius says in a chilling tone, his eyes reflecting a sadness that seems to mirror the graveness of the situation. Isaac eyes become somewhat lost at the prospects that the tree could possibly kill everybody in his village without his knowledge and he might not be able to do anything to stop it, anger flashing through Isaac's eyes, but he hasn't lost sight on the mission at hand.

"Master, we need to head to the crystal silk spiders' cave, I'm sure that the tree would head that way considering that spiders are able to reproduce quickly. It would be a feast if it was able to get close enough to absorb the energy of the spiders". Realization lights up on Opius' face, staring at Isaac in shock for his ingenious critical thinking skills.

"Not bad Isaac...". Opius thinks before stretching out his arm and resummoning the orb around Isaac, as they both are now crossing the sky towards what Isaac believes to be the crystal silk spider's hideout.
