Isaac currently meditating, begins to gain a small purple hue surrounding his body. This isn't the only strange phenomenon currently occurring, in his magical talent tree, in the void of the galaxy-like space, the orbs were glowing brighter than even before. New orbs even sprouting up from the connected paths and already existing orbs were growing bigger. The changes weren't too significant, but it was a step in the right direction. In a separate distance in the void, two red orbs sit there not even affected by the changes going on around. The sinister blood color clashed against the purple but didn't hinder its terrifying aura in the slightest. Isaac had truly acquired new modifiers and talents for his magic.
Isaac now had the ability to further extend his control to the things he create, and he can apply two modifiers to the weapons and items he could create. This would allow Isaac to unleash more devastating attacks, for instance, if he used his extend modifier and sharpness at the moment of a attack, that attack would become much stronger as it would gain a even greater piercing or slash force. Isaac had also found a way to solve one of his greatest problems with his magic so far. Earlier every time he would launch a spear into the mouth of the spider, it would disappear after some time and then wouldn't continue to inflict pain on to his targets. It might not be so important against humans where if they are struck with any sort of humans, they are bound to die from blood loss, but for monsters with impressive regenerative abilities and higher endurance than that of humans, it was a annoying problem to have to deal with such things.
Isaac noticed something different in comparison to all of the spells that he had made, and that was in which the first spell the dual bladed polearm would never disappear after summoned unless he unsummoned it himself. It also required the most mana of any spell for him to use, and so Isaac studied the components to the spell. Whenever a spell was in use, the mage would have to realize the components to the spell itself and give it form. The lower tier the spell, the easier it was to comprehend, but even a spell at tier 0 would still take some days of time to fully comprehend, Isaac's comprehension abilities were truly unparalleled compared to those on the same level as him. Even those of rich first class and second class families might not have a comprehension power similar to Isaac's or on the same level.
Isaac comprehended the spell for a total of 5 hours before he arrived at the component that none of his spells seemed to contain. As Isaac tried to comprehend that sole component, he still lacked the comprehension to put it to great use, but he was able to do something else.
"I can't replicate the entire component, but I can mimic the more rough details and arrive at a new spell modifier". Isaac thinks as he articulates his way through into a new spell modifier, and once it's created, a new branch in the magical talent tree opens up. A small purple orb grows on the branch, and its shine is no less than its other brothers and sisters around it. The shining of the orbs were almost in rhythm with each other as if welcoming the new orb on the branch.
Once Isaac had finished with his meditation, he stood up from his meditation and decided to test out his newly gained skills and overall abilities. Summoning a spear he tossed it into a nearby boulder in the cave and it got lodged in it and then he waited for it to disappear. After an entire minute it disappeared, this timing was more than 5 times greater than its usual disappearance time of about 10 seconds. This also meant Isaac would be able to conserve mana in comparison to before. It was like the comparison of a beggar washing only their chest in a shower, and the average person washing their entire body.
"I feel so much stronger than before! The power of magic truly does wonders in this world, I wonder what my world would have been like if it had magic...hopefully not the orange man using magic to actually complete a wall". Isaac thinks in disappointment as he realized magic would most likely just give humans more of a reason to segregate themselves from each other. As Isaac was practicing with his magic, he hears a scream come from a certain direction inside of the cave, oddly enough this scream sounded human in nature compared to the screeching of the crystal silk spiders. "There is more people here other than me...any person brave enough to come here has to be a mage or a hunter at the minimum". Isaac thinks to himself, debating whether or not he will go investigate the scream he heard. "Well, if it ends up being dangerous, I should still have the opportunity to escape, I am nowhere near afraid considering they will be focused on another human or group of humans". Isaac debates in his head as he heads closer to where he heard the scream and tries to go towards the closest source of magic he can find in the direction of where he found the scream.
After travelling through the twists and turns of this huge spider den, Isaac had ended up picking up a magical source coming from somewhere to the right and follows the direction. The sight Isaac sees would haunt him forever to this day. Isaac saw the magi dodder there in all its glory rooted in a huge portion of this cavern, but the magi dodder was nowhere near as nice and beautiful looking as it once was, it was the size of a entire suburban building back on Earth, and was humanoid like, but made of branches and still the green roots twisted all across its tree structured body. Weirdly enough, it seemed to have also been given a human-like expression in its transformation. It had a big creepy grin on its face that was so wide and it was unnatural and gave it a somewhat jester look. Green orbs were floating all around it, and it seemed like some inactive green orbs were on its bodies.
The magi dodder was now surrounded by crystal silk spiders, but that didn't seem to stop it at all, any spider that got close it would swat and knock it into the wall, seeming effectively either killing them on impact, or causing them severe damage. That didn't allow for the crystal silk spiders to be completely defenseless though, they would attack all at the same time in groups of five and seem to do damage, but the magi dodder would pick up the body of a dead spider and seemingly drain its energy, leaving with a corpse that looking seemingly drained of all its nutrients. As Isaac watched the attack on the magi dodder, he realized that there was a lot more bodies than he earlier suspected. Humans and spider bodies all across the ground.
"I never thought in a world full of magic and mages, so much destruction could come about by a single entity". Isaac thinks, looking saddened by the sight and wishing he could have done something to prevent the magi dodder's destruction of all life. Just suddenly, the huge magi dodder turns to look at Isaac, and its jester smirk almost pierces through Isaac's soul, as it begins to walk towards him.
