Beauty Within

The next thing I knew, I was checking my body out in front of the mirror. "That really looks beautiful on you," one of the lady who helped me comments.

"I know but what if-"

"Don't ever," she suddenly snaps at me, "and I mean ever say anything negative about your body. You are beautiful just the way you are and no one can say otherwise. Don't ever tell yourself no but instead definitely yes."

Her words suddenly rub on me. I look back at the mirror and this time look at myself from a different perspective.

"See?" She comes into view from the mirror, "I was right wasn't I?" I nod my head, speechless. "Now if anyone tells you anything about your looks, swing your hips, flip your hair, and say-"

"No," she smiles as I finish her sentence. "Now to finish this look off," she grabs a whole bunch of my hair and slightly lifts it up, "a beautiful version of Tinkerbell with black hair."

She sits me down and starts brushing my hair. "Oh, by the way my name is Song, Choi Sonkyun, but people like to call me Song."

Halfway through getting my hair done, Lucy walks out from her changing room and both our eyes widen in surprise. "You look beautiful!" I squeal and smile as I see her beautiful self.

Her hair is curly with a flower hair braid going across the top of her head. "I honestly think you look more beautiful than I do." I smile and focus my attention on a green emerald dress that sits on the corner.

"What's that dress for?" Song looks through the mirror and a smile plays on her lips. "That's my dress-" as soon as those words leave her lips, one of the other ladies leave the other changing room, wearing the same exact dress.

"Oh my God!" Realisation hits me. "You're a bridesmaid! But how?" Song laughs and places the last flower on my elegant updo, "the person who's getting married is my older sister, Sunmi. And this," she points to the lady who just came out, "is my youngest sister, Seolhee."

"Wow," Lucy and I synchronized.

"And finished," she claps her hands and steps back, letting me see myself in the full body length mirror. Lucy walks up to me and drapes her arm around my shoulder, "such best friend goals." We both laugh at Song's compliment.

"Lucy and YeonA, we have to go al-" Yixing walks in and his eyes instant widen. "Wow, you girls look so beautiful. If any man were to look at you, they would definitely would want to be your boyfriend - in which you're not allowed to have yet," he says and points to Lucy.

"Don't be too tough on them," Song makes her way over to Yixing, standing just an inch shorter, and playfully slaps his shoulder, "let them have as many boyfriends as they want."

"Fine by me-"

"Not me. I'm good sticking to only one," I say, still admiring my beautiful self. "How will you know he's the one if you haven't been with others?" I don't hesitate to answer, "because I haven't been with others I'll know he's the one."

Silence engulfs me so I clear my throat and turn to him, "so shall we go?" He claps his hands, "right! Girls, see you later!" Yixing waves at the girls before leading us outside and into his silver Camaro.

"Wow, I've just noticed your suit and you look amazingly handsome in it," Lucy compliments her own brother, earning her a very bright smile from the older one, "thanks sis."
