Huge No-No

"Mrs. Byun! You didn't turn in your homework in time!" I'm getting yelled at as soon as I enter the classroom - which is like entering a realm of dragons. This teacher is the pickiest and ruthless and merciless teach I've ever had over the span of my primary years to college.

"Mrs. Ling, I did turn in my assignment on time. It was before six-"

"Wrong! You turned in your assignment at six o-one! Do you know what that means!?" She questions me as I'm walking towards my seat before her spit goes any further down my face. "You get ten points off!"

It's not surprising anymore: she expects us to be these perfect students who always turn in everything at exactly six-o-clock - not only that, but your desk has to be spotlessly clean, you can't drop anything, you can't talk, can't look around, can't slouch, or bend, or cough or sneeze.

With everything you do wrong she subtracts five points from your everyday-grade - that is why mostly everyone is failing her class - including me.

As she begins her lesson, a knock comes through the door. The door slides open and in comes in a familiar face. "Minah?" I question myself, "I have her for this class?"

"Why are you late!?" She doesn't want for the startled female student to speak as she sends her off to the principal's office. See? Merciless. "Mrs. Ling, she's a new student and so she probably lost her way here-"

"Was that you Mrs. Byun?" Her deep piercing eyes zoom in on me. Of course I don't coward down because I'm not the type to, but with a person like her- "principal's office immediately!"

I huff out an exaggerated breath. I stand up and leave, muttering, "at least that's a better place than being here stuck with you."

She snaps her fifteenth ruler stick and points one end towards me as I slide open the door, "what did you just say?" I ignore her and leave, sliding the door close.

Instead of going to the principal's office, I make my way towards the main library, which is home to numerous generous of fiction novels. As I enter, I go straight to my favorite section - Fantasy/Romance - and pick out one of my favorite books: The Shadowhunters: City of Bones.

I've read this book over thousands of times and for know all details of every scene - from this book along with the others.

The series, A Shadowhunter's Novel, is the best series I've ever read.

From the chemistry of the two main characters, Clary and Jace, to the action, the dialogue, the plot twists and storylines, everything about these series just screams of perfection. But the book I least like is The City of Ashes - which is where Clary thinks it's okay to get-together with her best friend - even still knowing that her and Jace aren't actually related.

"You read that book?" I jump a little at the sudden voice. I look up and see a very unexpected guest. Those hazel eyes are staring into my auburn ones. Usually it's easy to read men like him, but he's too difficult that I quite can't see what those eyes are displaying.

"Yeah, it's my favorite series," I tell him. He pulls out the chair in front of me and drops his body on it, staring at me, "so what is it about?" I raise a brow at him. "You," I paint my index finger at him, "want to know what this book is about?" He hums as a response. "Why?"

He just shrugs his shoulders, "cause the person reading it looks interesting." I try not to blush so I lift up the book and use it as a shield for my reddening cheeks. "So?"

I clear my throat and lower the book. "Long story short, after finding out that her mother disappeared, Clary Fairchild groups of with a trial of siblings that are shadowhunters. She later realizes that she was born to become one so she tries to cleanse the world from evil that her father mostly created."

"Wow," he says sarcastically, "that was very interesting." A hint of boredom flashes on his face before an incoming female voice interrupts us.

"Yugyeom!" A female student, mirroring his exact height, comes whining to him. She pulls on his arm and starts furiously shaking him, "when's our next appointment? I'm getting kind of horny," she whispers the last word, sending me chills down my spine.

"Well if you want," he leans in, whispering something in her ear. She smiles bright before skipping away, revealing a very bright and excited aura around her. "Well then," he turns back to me as I do the same to him, "duty calls. Laters." With one last unknown glance, he turns around and walks away.

"He's still talking to you? YeonA," Lucy stops me in my tracks, "when are you going to learn that Yugyeom is a HUGE no? I've known him longer than you have to know that he really is bad news."

"And like I keep telling her," I say, mirroring her exact I-know-so voice, "how would you know if he never treated you like he was bad news? Have you befriend him before? Have you seen or heard anything that makes you strongly believe that he really is what you say he is?"

"No but that's besides the point-"

"So are you girls going in or what?" We both turn to see my cousin holding a Chocolate Frap, with my brother besides him. "Since when did you get those?" I ask, pointing to the two cold beverages on their hands.

"We just came from our free period," I nod my head, "and you didn't bother buying us one?" Without hesitation they both shake their heads. "C'mon Taehyung, let's just let the girls finish their talk-"

"Nope we're coming," I say and ignore Lucy's glares.

Inside we immediately go to our usual table, which always has lustful eyes glanced at due to two dashingly good looking men. "Does it bother you guys?" Lucy asks as we sit down, pointing to the pairs of eyes all around. "That people are always watching?"

"It never really bothered me," Taehyung responses, shrugging his shoulders, "I don't mind actually. As long as they don't personally come up and ask if they can sit here or-"

We all peel our eyes away from Taehyung towards Jungkook, who comes and drops the plate of food on the table, letting out a loud and tiresome sigh. Then out of nowhere, Minah appears behind him and steps to the side, "can I sit here?"
