The guards rushed to prepare for the worst. The young miss was in and out of responsiveness. she never passed out but she would zone away and start to warm up.
"Oh my child you pick the worst times." Frederick said. He was informed that his daughter fainted and may finally be showing her race.
"I told you she should have rested this week. You never listen to me. I'm her doctor for goodness sake. She has been complaining about her body and what she thought." The doctor said scolding Frederick.
"I told you she isn't a large concern. She needs to be of use later in life." Frederick said sipping his wine. He felt very little for his adopted child.
"I am not dealing with you tonight. I'm going to do my job which is take care of the young miss. She may not be yours biologically but she still is a child that you chose to raise." The doctor said. He turned and exited.
The doctor had been hired specifically to take care of the young miss when she was brought in. He hates that night. She was just a few hours old when he first saw her. She seemed to glow with energy.
"Doctor she is shaking. What do I do?" A maid said frantically.
"Damn. She is going quicker than expected." He said rushing in.
He ran in and flipped Rose onto her stomach with her head turned. Her back had a bulge forming. something was gonna come through.
"What race is she Frederick? I need to know if she is to make it." The doctor muttered to himself.
"No one knows." Frederick said walking in.
The doctor was frustrated. He yelled orders and things he needed.
"A scalpel now we are releasing the pressure." Doctor Morris said rushing.
"Try to keep scars to a minimum. She still needs to be useful." Frederick said walking away.
"Just leave my lord. I am not guaranteeing anything. I'm trying to save this child's life since you haven't tried." Morris said slowly trying to concentrate on the miss.
He began the process and a bone circle shot out and towards the top of her head. Feathers began forming quicker now that they were exposed. Her back began healing itself around her wings.
"She is a Giver. She is quite a rare breed. No wonder she was complaining about her body hurting." Morris said sighing and looking at the maids.
"Oh young miss I wish I could have helped you more." The maid walked to her to take a blood sample for the ranking test.
"Atleast she is going to be okay. Let me know when the test is completed and we'll check about soul bonds at a later day. She needs to rest and Frederick you need to think of an excuse to tell her about her history." Morris said sitting down watching the young miss breathing softly. He couldn't believe she is a giver.
"She will learn about the different races tomorrow." Frederick said.
"You need to find a giver instructor. She needs to learn how to use her abilities and what this means for her." Morris said.
"She has made things complicated. I was going to marry her off now I have to wait and see if she has a soul bond. When we know whom it is were going to get a treaty set up so I can benefit from her." Frederick said.
"She is still a child." Morris said.
"Doctor the test has come back." The maid said handing him the results.
"Damn. She keeps getting rarer. She is an Omega." Morris said leaning further back in the chair.
"Its such a fun night. She just made herself a valuable asset." Frederick said turning to leave.
"You are a fiend. She is a child. She isn't an asset. She deserves to be a child not a cash grab for you. Your supposedly her father but you act like a cattle breeder. Your the worst." Morris said.
"You wanna know whats terrible. The night I got here. I should have brought her mother as well so she could raise the brat. She mostly like would have presented sooner. She was a waste of my time and money until now. She is actually worth it for the return." Frederick said.
"Your not actually my Father and I was just a waste of time."
