Chapter 3 :Taming The Beast

I was walking to the direction of our cabin deep in thought first grab my back pack and head to the library to join Lucia then I was analyzing my surroundings just thinking about where to start training I had no clue where to start my thought's were rudely interrupted when I was knocked off balance by a girl who was shoved into me , she had blue hair and pale blue with a black tattoo , tight blue ripped jeans and a white crop top . I caught her with my one arm while I blocked the one guys fist , I glared at him " What The HELL is the big Idea ?? Do you feel like a man hitting a girl ? What the Hell is your problem? " I yelled at him" Then I noticed she was the girl that is on my team.

Sky Northbrook age 15

The Guy stared at me , What you an Idiot we are training , Newby ... The Name is Asher son of Ares, you probably don't know this but we are allowed to train with the girls . He was apart of Team #3 and I assumed the other two boys were his brothers .

Asher Son of Ares age 18

Edmond still glaring at Asher, "That doesn't mean you need to beat on her , whatever your damn reasons are , Training is about helping yourself get better and your opponent. not beating the shit outta her.

Tch... " Asher scoffed " You a gentleman ? looking at his friends laughing . He looked back at Edmond and noticed a change in him and it wasn't a good one, He noticed Edmonds eyes were now then to a glowing poison green and his lips turned yellow , at this he stepped back "WOAH what the hell dude we were just going to have a little fun with her " He realized that was a bad idea, cause Edmond put the girl down a lunged , " Woah this kid is fast he thought moving away from him Edmond totally changed form into some almost bird like creature With glowing green eyes , a yellow beak , four arms that rose above his head but still somewhat a body of a man , " CHIRON!!!!!! campers were screaming.

Mean while Lucia was in the library and heard the commotion and started running out the door ... And saw the creature in front of the campers " oh no !! He transformed again , He hasn't done this in a while " . Lucia ran straight to the monster getting in between the son of ares and his friends , Run !!! she screamed i'll hold him off . " She faced her brother " ED calm down please " But it was no use , He rose his arms and lunged at her , Lucia dodged and jumped on his back wrapping her arms around his neck whispering in his ear " Please come back to me " . This isn't you Edmond , Please Come back to me .

All the leaders came running , Mr. Popo , Chiron , Dr. Dray , Professor Brom and his wife Polly , Mark and Sara , Jinn and Ivy .. They all stared in amazement as they saw the young Lucia has had experience in taming the beast , They watched in aww as they saw the boy transform back to his normal self slowly, falling into the embrace of his younger sister and passed out . Lucia held him tightly as she was afraid that he would be taken from her .

Everyone watched as Mr. Popo walked over and knelt infront of Lucia we need to take him to the Infirmary okay ? Mr. Popo gently lifted the Unconscious Edmond into in his arms and carried him Into the infirmary , Lucia followed and immediately started to cry and beg for them not to take her from him . Mr. Popo looked down at the weeping child"what Happened"? he and all the adults looked at her .

Lucia now started to stutter i ii I don't know , I had heard the campers screaming and saw my Brother transformed , Edmond wouldn't have transformed if he wasn't provoked or protecting someone , normally that someone he is protecting is me. I haven't seen him transform since last year as she looked at her unconscious brother lying on the infirmary bed, He is always protecting me and so is Damon and the only thing i can do is calm him down .

Mr. Popo looked at the young vulnerable girl and saw she was telling the truth , there was no lying with this young girl, he let out a low growl and turned and looked down at Chiron and the rest of the councilors , And they all new shit was about to go down , Mr. Popo looked at Dr. dray " Look after the children while I find out and deal with what happened . "

Dr. Dray Looked at him and nodded , " I will take care of them you know that , " with that Mr. Popo was out the door again , walking towards the young Blue haired girl who was still sitting where Edmond had sat her , Come with me Child " Mr. Popo said " .

As The girl got up she looked at Mr. Popo ,"I didn't catch your name child "

She Looked down , It's Sky Northbrook daughter of Helga and Arran Northbrook. She looked at him again , my parents serve Queen Frostess of the north pole . " Sky explained ". They were walking towards Mr. Popo's house .... Your not going to punish me are you ? she asked him

As they got closer to Mr. Popo's House it looked like a quiet place , she could see why he lived here it was peaceful . Sky wondered if he was married , she didn't ever see him with anyone he would just always be by himself tending his garden in his spare times when he wasn't training or inside his house , she was snapped out of her thought's when Mr. Popo got to his stairs and started to walk up them and she followed. The place was huge like the main house . After all Mr. Popo was the founder of this camp . No one knew much about Mr. Popo's past except he was a rich man . he was good friends with the councilors here at camp or at least that is what she and all the other campers think .

Sit down " He told her , As he walked inside the house for a couple of minutes , came back out with a drink of water or at least that is what she thought . Mr. Popo handed he the drink then sat on his banister , " So you want to tell me what happened with you and Edmond ? "

She looked down took a long sigh " Edmond was protecting me from Asher and his friends , I thought we were only training but it turned out Asher had other plans in mind , I ran Away from them , well when Asher and his thug of friends caught up to me he shoved me into the new kid Edmond and he caught me" . I Didn't mean for him to get hurt while defending me , I'm sorry sir " she said looking down with tear's in her eyes . Asher provoked Edmond by tell him he going to have his fun with me . .

After a long pause Mr. Popo was clearly disgusted and full of anger . He looked at the child clearly unsure of how to comfort her , he was never good with kids he always scared them so he stayed away and always let Chiron and the rest of the teachers do the comforting while he was in the disciplinary committee. instead of looking down at her he knelt down to her level, " It wasn't your fault nor Edmond's I will personally deal with this matter myself and make sure he will never do this again to you or any other young lady in my camp, I don't stand for that kind of act in my camp ". " Mr. Popo Said" Clearly still angry .

What if he comes after me ? " Sky asked "

Then there is nowhere on this earth where he can run and hide where I won't find him . " Mr. Popo said clearly serious about what he was insinuating." Go to your cabin and get some rest child .

Yes sir " Sky said " Sky got up to leave looking back at the man , He was no longer there . with that she ran like hell back to her cabin.
