Chapter 23: Tier 1 Normal Dungeon part IX

At the same time when Ian killed the other alpha. Where the 3 B rank Gifter fights the main boss.

When Pitt and Katherine killed all the smaller red wolves with the help of Lindo, they hurriedly supported Balt who was defending from the attack of Alpha.

The Alpha was already released a few seconds after it got frozen. Balt also knew that the skill he uses won't be enough to imprison the Alpha, he uses it to buy time for the three to kill the small fry which they accomplished perfectly.

He wards off the alpha constant attack with his shield. He was not in a hurry to use his ability since he will only use it when they face the boss of the entire dungeon, not the boss of the second floor.

Finally, he saw Katherine emerge like a shadow above the head of the alpha who was ready to pounce once again on his shield.

Bracing for the impact, he felt an extraordinary strength slammed on his shield which made him take three steps behind. After stabilizing his body, what follows was a cry of pain coming from the Alpha. He saw one of Katherine's daggers on the left eye of the Red Wolf.

Katherine's timing was perfect that after the alpha attack she also attacked the left eye. The Alpha who was in pain from the stab shook its body furiously to shake Katherine from its head. It even slammed its head on a tree near it which destroyed it completely. Katherine was holding up for more seconds while trying to take her dagger but it seems won't come off.

With no other choice, Katherine abandoned her one dagger that was stuck on the alpha's eyes. Before leaping from the head of the Red Wolf, she disappeared before Alpha attacked her falling body. She moves so fast that the alpha can't even follow her movement.

The Alpha was raging when it saw its prey disappearing into thin air. It planned to attack Balt once again who stood tall with his Shield facing it to release its frustration despite the pain it felt on its eye. Due to its rage, it's only fighting with its instinct so the first enemy it saw was its target that it didn't notice Pitt who was at its rear preparing his most powerful attack.

Pitt moves at the same time as Katherine but due to her speed, he was left behind. He places himself at the rear of the Alpha who was shaking Katherine and readied his ability.

His ability needs time to activate and Katherine also knows it, his ability is called[Giant Arm]; as simple as the name but it has powerful results. It can make his arms gigantic so it needs time before it takes shape.

He only needed a minute before it took shape and that's also the time Katherine leaps at the back of the Red Wolf.

After Pitt's arms took the shape of a giant hand, he raised it and made his fingers intertwined with each other creating a sight to behold, even Ian who was making excuses for the two girls was stunned.

An ear-shattering sound was heard when Pitt slammed his giant hand that completely covered the Alphas body. It created a crater that was a half meter deep with a wrecked body of the Red Wolf. Compared to the height and length of the Alpha, Pitt's giant hand was a few times bigger than it made the alpha look like a cat in front of a tiger.

And the Alpha Red Wolf who didn't notice Pitt at its rear died without knowing why.

After a few seconds, Pitt's arm became normal again as if the giant hand earlier was just an illusion.

Ian, who was finished explaining his excuse, was stunned. He suddenly saw the hand of a giant appear that crushed Alpha into oblivion. He didn't think of Pitt having that kind of ability at all, he thought of him as a fire master when he first saw him use fire on his blade. 

Sona who was beside Ian saw his stunned face and explained kindly.

"Pitt Ability is called [Giant Arms] just like how you saw it, it can make his arm gigantic. But of course, it also has its disadvantages, look."

Ian looked at where Sona indicated and saw Pitt being supported by Katherine, Pitt's face clearly shows weariness and he is wobbling every time he takes a step if not for Katherine supporting him he will stumble for sure.

Sona who was at Ian's side waited for the two and closed her eyes. After a few minutes, the two finally reach her. She opened her eyes, looked at Pitt, and cast her ability.

A green light surrounds Pitt's whole body after Sona said the magic words. [Refresh] was the ability Sona received when she came of age. It can restore living beings to their previous condition.

After so many usages her ability also became stronger since at first, she can only cast it once a day so being able to cast it once every 30 minutes was a big improvement for her.

It looks powerful but the truth it's not. All the abilities have their limiter so they can't wield the true potential of their power like Sona. She can only restore her target conditions to his peak again after they become exhausted. If she re-awakened, then her power can even restore ailments like disease and disorders or restore something like age which are overpowered.

After a few seconds, the green light encircling Pitt's body disappeared and they saw Pitt in his peak condition again. His face was full of vitality, body standing straight just like when he first entered the portal. If Ian didn't see his posture earlier which looks like a dying old man, he won't believe what he saw.

Ian was thinking what if Sona drank the blue potion he got from the system. Can she revive the dead? Thinking about it made him shivers. So he asked Lily for confirmation.

『Impossible』

Nodding his head from her answer Ian sighs in relief, he knows that his thinking was over the top.
