Chapter 29: [Weight Changer]

Balt, who was leading the team, saw Ian and Sophia who got up after they saw them, his sights didn't linger on them that long, he looked at their back where the dead body of the Alpha who didn't disappear like the rest of the bodies.

Boss monsters have longer dissolving times unlike the rest of the monsters. Even if they are just a floor boss their dissipating time was almost the same as the dungeon boss.

But if a monster was already inside of the storage before it dissipated the work on the dungeon won't work on it because the storage space was a different dimension that didn't belong to the dungeon which made it impossible to disappear.

Also, the dungeons won't disappear after the boss is defeated, they need to find the Dungeon Core before it completely disappears which makes it needed to be raided daily so no Stampede's going to happen since finding the Dungeon Core was a hard task to do.

After seeing that there's nothing amiss since he thought that all the dead bodies would disappear he ordered Ian and Sophia to carry the Alpha's bodies.

That's also part of their job, carrying the bodies of the Boss monster since it's part of the loot. If It's like the body Pity was carrying was ordered on them, they can still refuse it since it was impossible to make a porter carry that enormous dead body even if it's two of them.

Sophia didn't say anything and just followed his order while Ian frowned hearing it. It was his first time being a porter of the higher portal that it was new to him. He didn't remember doing it since low-level portals don't have any boss monsters. It only has a normal monster that made it perfect for newbie Gifters to train, while he was following those newbies while dissecting the monster bodies taking their crystals core.

But didn't say anything since he was a porter, who said to him to become a porter? He can only curse the former owner since his sister wants him to become a babysitter of his niece but refuse and become a porter due to jealousy.

'What a Sis-Con'

Ian touches the body of Alpha to make it weightless so Sophia won't endure the weight.

When Sophia lifted the body she was slightly surprised by how easy it was to lift. If she didn't know the reason why it became like that then she would think how powerful she becomes.

Nonetheless, the surprise she felt was not seen on her face so Balt who was looking at them didn't feel anything wrong, since being a porter also needs strength so he was not surprised by how Sophia lifted the body easily.

After Sophia and Ian lifted the body, they followed Balt and the group that was heading to the gate leading to the first floor. 

No one said anything and no one disturbs the silence. They all walked without saying anything. The only noise that can be heard was their steps that echoed in the forest.

Ian, who was bored, kept looking at the gigantic body that Pitt was carrying from time to time. The walk was slow due to their exhausted bodies and Pitt who was full of vigor was also slowly walking due to the weight of the body that he was carrying, that's why Ian was bored.

"Hey, Pitt, do you want me to make that body you're carrying become lighter?" He asks. 

Ian's question made the group stop on their track. They all looked at Ian who was at their rear with a scrutinizing look. Asking if what they heard was true.

Ian shrugged his hand and said;" My ability is called [Weight Changer] I can change 2 times the mass that I touched so I can make it lighter for you."

Hearing his explanation they all nodded their head in understanding except for Sophia the Porter girl and Sona their healer.

Sona saw how he used his ability so she didn't believe him. But didn't say anything since all people have their secrets that they didn't want to tell. She didn't know how stronger he became after re-awakened but she knows that his ability was stronger by what he described. And just like her, Sophia also didn't say anything.

Pitt looked at Balt as if asking what to do. Balt looked at Ian for a second before nodding his head. He didn't feel bad or embarrassed about it since Ian was the one who suggested it and even if Ian didn't suggest it and he knows that he has that ability, he will still ask him to do it since he was a member of his party and he was the leader even if he was just a temporary.

Ian nodded his head and hinted to Sophia who also nodded her head, she moved close to Pitt with Ian on her back. She didn't ask why he was hiding his true capabilities; she only followed his order even though he didn't say anything.

Ian didn't let Sophia carry the body alone cause if he does that then what is the use of lying about his ability? Although he won't have any reason to lie, there is also no reason for him to reveal it since he was not an idiot who will reveal his power to people who he didn't know if they will become a foe or friend in the future.

After getting close to Pitt, Ian put his hand in the body and said the name of his Ability.

"[Weight Changer]"

He didn't need to say the name but he only does it for the convenience of looking cool effects. He didn't know if it's work but he didn't care.

After Ian touches the body, Pitt can already feel the effects on it. The weight that was like a mountain on his shoulder becomes the weight of a tree. He was amazed by how amazing it's the effect. He didn't think that a porter with an ability like Ian was not known.
